Chapter 1 - Prologue a Saga of Storm

Long ago when the stars were yet born. When the sun and moon still traveled on the same sky. And forests with more color's then a rainbow littered the fertile earth. A time when the birds sung freely and when the water was clearer than glass. A time when the many peoples of the world lived in complete and utter fear.

For it was a time of horror. When Monsters freely roamed the earth. Causing calamity upon calamity wherever they went. Every day was a struggle of survival between the Men, the beasts and the monsters who roamed in the dark.

That was all until the storm came and covered the world like a heavy dark blanket. It covered the land, sky and sea. Blanketed it all beneath its cold embrace. The storm brought the reign of horror to an end. By driving the monsters away and by robbing the beasts of their connection to the worlds of the spirits.

The monsters were gone and peace had come. Or so one thought, the land beneath the earth, large caves, old prisons, sewers and many other such places, which had not been touched by the storms embrace, remained as they had been in time imorial, A land of magical fauna, filled by creatures told only of in legends and myths and in the stories of old. These grand and mysterious places became known as Dungeons. There were said to be three kinds, the grey dungeon, the black dungeon and the white dungeon.

A grey dungeon was small and the most common, it had few monsters and lacked in resources of note. A black dungeon was a large naturally formed dungeon, filled with exotic fauna sought by adventurers and sometimes one would find old structures within them theming with loot from the bygone age before the storm.

And then there were the white dungeons. The dungeons so few in number and so rare that only the elites of the largest countries knew of them. These dungeons were undoubtedly unique far deeper then any other and holding far more sinister things then what man knew could be. Yes these lone places of the deepest dark were dungeons made by man. Should one challenge the master of such a place one would surely face the worst kind of fate.
