Chapter 19 - Chapter 19

Robin's lips curled into a dangerous smile as the nimbus cloud carried them higher, away from prying eyes. The golden sunlight painted her skin in warm hues as she pressed her body flush against Nolan's, feeling the hard planes of his chest through his thin shirt.

"Where are we going, Nolan...?" she purred, deliberately rolling her hips against his. The soft swell of her breasts against him made his breath hitch—a rare crack in his usual lazy composure.

Nolan's golden eyes darkened as he took in the sight of her, the way her skirt rode up her thighs, the teasing glint in her blue eyes, the knowing curve of her lips. "I thought you would be more... reserved," he murmured, voice rough with unexpected desire.

Robin's laugh was low and throaty as her fingers traced circles on his chest, dipping dangerously low toward his waistband. "Hm? What are you talking about...?" She leaned in closer, her warm breath ghosting over his neck. "Disappointed?"

"Fuck no," Nolan growled, his usual lethargy burning away under her touch.

Her mouth found his ear, teeth grazing the sensitive shell as she whispered, "Or do you perhaps like doing it in public...?" The hand not playing with his chest crept lower, lower—

Nolan's grip on the nimbus tightened as he suddenly flipped their positions, pinning Robin beneath him. The cloud dipped slightly under their combined weight, bouncing them in a way that made Robin's breath catch. His usual sleepy smirk turned predatory. "You talk too much, historian."

Robin's eyes sparkled with challenge. "Then make me—"

BOOOOOOM!

The entire sky shook with a deafening explosion. A massive plume of smoke erupted from the direction of the Shandian village, followed by the unmistakable sound of Luffy's distant shouting, "MEATTTTTT!"

Nolan's head dropped onto Robin's shoulder with a groan. "God. Fucking. Dammit."

Robin sighed, though her lips still quirked in amusement. She gently patted his back. "Your captain has... impeccable timing."

Below them, the scene was pure chaos,

Luffy was somehow on fire, running in circles while screaming about barbecue as half the village's food stores were now scattered across the cloudscape

Wyper was chasing Sanji, who had apparently flirted with every female warrior simultaneously.

Zoro was napping peacefully atop a pile of knocked-out Shandian warriors while Chopper was frantically trying to treat everyone.

Nolan lifted his head just in time to see Nami slam her fist into Luffy's flaming skull. "I SWEAR TO GOD, IF YOU'VE RUINED OUR CHANCE AT FREE SUPPLIES—"

Robin chuckled, stretching luxuriously beneath him. "Shall we continue this... discussion later?"

Nolan rolled off her with a grunt, running a hand through his hair. "Yeah. Somewhere with soundproofing. And locks." He eyed the destruction below. "Lots of locks."

As they descended, Sanji noticed their disheveled state and immediately burst into tears. "ROBIN-CHWAAAAAN! THAT LAZY BASTARD DOESN'T DESERVE—MMPH!" Zoro, still half-asleep, had somehow thrown a sandal directly into the cook's mouth.

Robin merely smiled serenely, adjusting her blouse. "My, what an energetic crew we have."

Nolan's eye twitched as another explosion rocked the village. "I need a drink."

"So? Do you have a plan against that man?" Wyper asked through gritted teeth, his eye twitching as he watched Luffy try to eat one of Kamakiri's arm blades "Hmm... needs salt...".

The Straw Hats exchanged glances before Luffy proudly declared, "We don't!" His grin was so bright it nearly blinded the Shandians.

Wyper's grip on his reject dial turned his knuckles white. "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BEAT HIM THEN?!"

Luffy pumped his fists, his massive chin wobbling enthusiastically. "We won't lose! Shishishi!" His stomach growled loud enough to shake nearby clouds. "Especially if I eat a lot first!"

Nami facepalmed so hard it echoed. "Why do I even bother..."

Meanwhile, Zoro's attention was drawn to Nolan, who was performing one-handed push-ups with Robin sitting cross-legged on his back reading a book and a steaming cup of tea balanced on his head that never spilled

Zoro's visible eye gleamed with interest. "How's your strength training going?"

Nolan didn't even break rhythm. "Mm... close to your strength right now." The casual boast made Zoro's eyebrow twitch violently.

"Oh? I see." Zoro's hand drifted to his swords. "Wanna spar?"

Nolan paused mid-pushup making Robin sigh as her book tilted. He stared at Zoro for exactly ten seconds - the crew could practically hear the loading screen music - before deadpanning: "Nuh. Too much hassle."

Zoro fell over dramatically. "THAT'S YOUR EXCUSE?!"

As Zoro turned to leave, Nolan suddenly called out: "Oh, by the way... Zoro."

"What now?" Zoro grumbled, still sore about the rejected duel.

"Your swords. Hand them to me." Nolan's tone was casual, but his pink eyes gleamed with unusual interest.

Zoro didn't hesitate and handed his three swords. Sandai Kitetsu, Yubashiri and Wado Ichimonji. He gained the two from Loguetown while the last was a gift from his mentor.

Nolan quickly touched the three sword as a familiar sound quickly penetrated his head.

[Ding! Detected a weapon full of emotions..!

..

..

Ding! Item has been successfully upgraded.

Congratulations host for obtaining Nozarashi!]

The weapon began glowing as it changed in structure. Zoro stood in shock but didn't interfere since he knows how crafty Nolan is. They don't know how he do it but he seems to make things more powerful than they were before.

The light subsided as Zoro's eyes sparkled in interest. The previous menacing Sandai Kitetsu has somehow turned into a normal looking katana on Nolan's hands.

Nolan stared at the description of the blade.

[Item: Nozarashi (野晒)

 Description:

A massive, weathered cleaver with a smooth blade—more like a butcher's tool than a refined sword.

 Abilities:

 1. "Blood Hunger"

- The blade grows heavier and sharper the more the user wants to kill.

- Against weak foes, it's just a big, clumsy sword.

- Against strong foes, it becomes a monster that splits the sky.

 2. "Wound Maker"

- Cuts from Nozarashi don't heal right—even after being treated, scars throb with phantom pain.

- "Once cut by this blade, you never forget its bite."

 3. "Unbreakable"

- Nozarashi cannot be shattered, chipped, or dulled by normal means.

- The only thing that can damage it is the user's own boredom.

Shikai (Released State): "Drink, Nozarashi" (飲め,野晒)

- The blade swells into a monstrous executioner's axe, large enough to bisect a building sideways.

- No fancy techniques—just a bigger, meaner cutting edge.

Bankai: "Ō Nozarashi" (大野晒, "Great Bleached Bone")

- The user's body becomes wrapped in skeletal armor, his hair turning blood-red.

- The blade shrinks to a denser, sharper form, trading raw size for cutting through reality itself.

- "When the user swings in Bankai, the air doesn't part—the world does." ]

Zoro's jaw dropped. "What the hell did you just—"

Before he could finish, Nolan tossed the upgraded sword back. Zoro caught it mid-air and immediately felt the difference - the weight, the balance, the raw power thrumming through the steel.

His shocked expression morphed into a bloodthirsty grin. "Okay. Now we're definitely sparring."

Nolan yawned, already floating away on his nimbus. "Nope.." he said while cursing his luck because only Sandai Kitetsu got upgraded. Maybe Yubashiri is not that great at all?

Still, that new sword will be a game changer. A Zanpakuto in the world of pirates? That's something else.
