The moment the feather blades came flying to them, only Li Chongba and Chen Xing and some other members managed to react in time. They managed to dodge or defend themselves.
But the remaining others were not so lucky.
The feather blades pierced their bodies. Some died and some only got slightly injured.
After that attack, Chen Xing pulled out a blade and unsheathed his blade.

He flew in between Chen Xing and Li Chongba with his wing blades circling. Then he flew straight in the air with a sonic boom.
As Ji Yen watches the fight, he suddenly remembered why he felt the blade of Chen Xing familiar to him.
It was the aura of the demon monkey.
Now all those blade marks and others made sense. From what he could see, the Chen clan focus on blade techniques.
They might have captured the red tail monkey for the red tail. To make a flaming blade.

A single feather blade came flying and hit the blade on Chen Xing's hand. The blade got knocked off his hand.
Realizing what just happened, Ji Wen showed an angry look and swing his both wings and hit Chen Xing with condensed wind.
That knocked Chen Xing back a few meters. And he fell to the ground.
Ji Wen was ready to attack again but he stopped when he felt something.
On the branch, Ji Yen stood still and then he let out a second sound.
Kee-eee-arr.....
To the horrors of Li Chongba and Chen Xing, in front their eyes Ji Yen's body grew larger in seconds.
The air around them became much heavier.
As he grew larger, the aura around Ji Yen also shifted from calm and collected to fierce and violent.
Feeling the pressure of high Grade 1 demon beast, both Li Chongba and Chen Xing showed a horrified expression.
Seeing that Ji Yen was about to take action, Ji Wen left Li Chongba and Chen Xing and flew towards the clan members.
Ji Yen flew down slowly and with a thump he landed on the ground.
Chen Xing and Li Chongba both stood up and put up their hands, ready to fight.
Ji Yen sneered at their action. He simply shot out two of his feather blades.
But his speed was much faster and deadlier than Ji Wen's.
The blades did not even take a second to reach to them. Li Chongba and Chen Xing did not even reacted properly when the blades hit them.
Without his blade, Chen Xing could not defend himself. So the blade pierced right through his chest.
But lucky for Li Chongba the blade did hit him but it could not pierce his body. A body armor stopped the blade from piercing through his body.
Even though the blade could not pierce his body, it knocked flying him back several distance away from his position.
He only stopped when he hit a large tree.
Chen Xing was still standing in his position, with the blade still stuck in his chest.
He stood there for more than 10 seconds, before ultimately falling on his knees and then on his front.
After he fell to the ground, bloods spread out from his body to the ground.
The incident only took just about 15 to 20 seconds.
After hitting the tree, Li Chongba stood up with his legs shaking from the force.
He looked at Ji Yen with anger, hatred and fear all together mixed.
Ji Yen did not even care about. He appeared before Li Chongba with a flap of his wings. And then he cut his throat, with his right wing blade.
With a scared look, Li Chongba tried to stop the bleeding with his both hands pressing against his neck.
But his struggle was futile. With gasping for air, he also fell to the ground with his legs kicking as a last struggle before dead.
On the other side, Ji Wen has already finished his part. Uprooting just some simple weeds are not a problem for him.
