It was a gray day. No sun shining, no rain falling. Just an eerie stillness hung over the city, as if the world had decided to hold its breath.
Ayan Kayler sat on the roof of an abandoned building in a quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of "Renhurst." His eyes stared at the gray sky while the wind played with his long brown hair, loosely tied back. There was nothing worth looking at… until it happened.
A flash. Just one. Then it vanished.
But that flash changed everything.
The ground trembled, and sound waves erupted, shattering windows and sending people to their knees. Screams, chaos, confusion… then silence once more.
The System appeared.
In the sky, like a giant holographic screen, a translucent neon-blue interface materialized above everyone's heads:

[Identifying User…]
[Analyzing DNA…]
[Assigning Class…]
Ayan didn't move. He stared at the interface in front of him but felt that something was wrong. Everyone around him began shouting or reading aloud what appeared before them:
"I'm a warrior!"
"A Class B sorceress!"
"Oh my God, I'm a healer!"
But Ayan's interface was different:

[System Corrupted.]
[Please Survive Until Repairs Are Complete.]
[System Repair: 0%.]
Ayan stood quietly. No shock, no fear. Just a long sigh escaped him, as if he had expected this… As usual, nothing went the way it should.
People began to change. Those who received combat classes felt power surging through their bodies, boasting or trying to dominate others. The rest were lost.
Then came the monsters.
The sky split open, and creatures unlike anything Earth had ever seen emerged. A grotesque fusion of flesh and metal, roaring with an unbearable sound. The slaughter began.
Ayan, with his corrupted System, could neither flee nor fight. He rubbed his eyes and forced himself to move. In a new world without logic, survival wasn't for the smart or the strong… but for those who made the right decision at the critical moment.
He found himself in an alley, hiding behind a dumpster, breathing heavily as one of the monsters passed by. Luckily, it didn't notice him.
But then, the System suddenly activated:

[Temporary Ability Unlocked: "Dynamic Vision."]
It felt like his eyes were on fire. Time slowed down, and he saw the monster moving sluggishly before him. Red dots appeared on its body, as if the System was telling him: "These are its weak points."
Without thinking, he grabbed a broken metal rod beside him and lunged at the monster.
A scream, blood, silence.

[Total Repair: 0.06%.]
Ayan sat on the ground, panting, staring at his trembling hands. He couldn't believe what he had just done. He didn't feel strong… but he had done it.
This was the beginning of his survival… and the beginning of the end for the world as he knew it.
