School was a little bit strange today, Hana was in a very good mood. Lucas was utterly confused but he didn't seem to care. When Hana saw how ignorant he was, she walked joyously to him, only for him to get smacked by her bag.
"Not even gonna ask why I'm happy, jerk??".
Lucas thought that it wasn't his business and so he said.
"Well...just so you know, it's because I beat you in chess", she smiled.
"How does winning me in chess make you happy?", Lucas interrogated.
"Well obviously, it'll give me the confidence to outclass you in anything...".
"You know, maybe you have a fever, you should go home. ", Lucas said as he was heading to his class.
She gave him a "gentle" push and went back to her friends to class. "Hmph".
A what seemed to be like a blueprint of a gadget or something was dropped from Mia's bag as she was running to class. It was picked up by Azuma who has been pretty low-key lately.
He has been instructed by Kai to be keeping an eye on both of them....It's not like he had an option to reject it.
"Oh....Kai's gonna love this", he grinned.
After a boring amount of time in class, Lucas who wanted to be alone with his headphones yet again was denied by two boys.
One was from his class, Fugaki, and the other was from Mia's class,1-3, Garfield Bon.
"I think I'm in love with Kono...", Garfield looked into Lucas' eyes.
He raised one of his eye brows, "Okay....so?", he asked.
He explained that among all the boys, Lucas was the only one who gets her attention so he wanted Lucas to introduce him to her.
"You know, if you like her, you should tell her yourself....or offers sweets to her or something", he put his headphones back on and well....you know.
"That's a great idea...thanks man".
Mia opened her locker just to see a note.
" *Meet me in the storage room* ". It said.
She asked herself if that was a love letter, she was so excited who it was gonna be.
She immediately went to the storage room and saw that it was Kai.
All her happy thoughts went down the drain.
"What do YOU want?", she asked in a harsh tone.
"I'll make this quick", he showed her the blueprint she dropped.
Mia made a concerned face, "H-how do you have that??".
"Oh?, so it is important.....I just wanted to tell you what you and that moron are just making low tech crap, and it won't work against us...We are Jade, and we will give rise to new technologies...especially FOR ASSASSINATING, after all, that's what my dad said", He narrated.
"Don't tell me you're also part of those Otaku boys....you think you'll produce lazer guns, or war suits or something??", she looked disgusted.
"I just came to warn you..... *you're on my list after* all".
Lucas was walking with Mia, she explained what Kai said.
"The fact that he said the same phrase doesn't mean they're related you know?....It could be their motto", Mia thought.
Lucas thought that she was right, and when he even asked Hana about Kai, she didn't seem to know a thing about him.
