The forest was eerily silent as the group of people tread carefully through it. Only the sound of their footsteps echoed through the forest.
A faint rustling sound from the surroundings made them pause, their hands instinctively going to their weapons.
Their eyes darted around in vigilance.
From deep within the thick forest, a predator's cold eyes fell on them...
"Roar." It let out a guttural howl which echoed through the surroundings.
The group of people stopped in their steps and armed themselves for what was to come.
In response to that howl.
One after another, wolves burst from the thick forest, encircling them within seconds.
Over 20 D-rank wolves circled them from all sides.
However, the biggest threat was the wolf that was leading the pack.
A c-rank beast!
In the center of the group of people surrounded by wolves, a man stood.
He looked about 18 years old, his white hair like clouds waving to the wind; however, his eyes showed determination without a hint of fear.
That man is none other than Liam.
The C-rank wolf strode forward… each step radiating a suffocating aura.
The pressure made Liam's heart beat faster, his eyes tremble, and his voice catch in his throat. But the fighting spirit in his eyes still didn't fade even a little.
However, his body can't hold any longer under the pressure of the beast. His knees bent a little, but he clenched his teeth and stood his ground.
His unyielding eyes stared at the wolf in defiance.
A familiar figure stood tall in front of him—Noah. As he faced the beast, its suffocating aura dispersed like mist.
Liam's eyes fell on the strong back of Noah.
"You did well, my lord," Henry's voice came from the side, praising him.

Noah deflected the powerful attack; however, the force from the impact pushed Noah back a few steps.

Seeing an opening, Henry fired an arrow, which struck true to one of the wolf's legs.
ROAR!
A guttural roar echoed through the forest as the beast roared in pain and anger, sending a shiver down one's spine.

Its eyes landed on Harry, who was loading another arrow.
It pounced towards him, its eyes glowing red with rage, teeth bared.
Before the beast reached Harry's position,
Noah slashed his sword, forcing the wolf to dodge, stumbling to the ground in the process.
just in time for an arrow to pierce its neck.
The Fang Wolf let out a furious howl as deep arrow wounds covered its body, its health dropped below 20%, and its movements grew faster and more savage. Harry's arrow barely scratched it now; something had changed. The beast had gone berserk, and their attacks lost 50% of their attack damage.
Noah slashed his swords at the wolf again and again, slowly chipping its health bit by bit as Henry provided support from behind.
Soon, minutes had passed…
Liam heard a message.
"Ding! Your subjects, Noah and Henry, killed C-rank Fang Wolf."
By the time they finished their fight, other members had killed the rest of the pack.
