"Grandma." Gu Lingling whispered something into Grandma Yao's ear, and Grandma Yao shot her a glance.

"A permanent position might not be possible," Grandma Yao squinted at Wang Meili, "You know, many people are envious of this job, they're all eyeing it, and you can't read."

Wang Meili cursed inwardly, if she could read, why would she come to you?
But from the sound of it, if a permanent position isn't possible, does that mean a temporary job is? Wang Meili's eyes brightened up. Although a temporary job sounds awful and the pay isn't as high as a permanent one, it's easier to get a permanent spot. It's certainly better than working for work points in the village.
As long as she gets in first, she doesn't believe that with her capabilities she won't be able to make it permanent.
