Sherick seems to have found an amusing toy.
It tossed Elrian around, pulled on his twisted arms, and tugged at his limp, dangling legs. A normal person wouldn't survive such torment, let alone Elrian with his maimed limbs and horrific injuries.
He should have died long ago. Died under Geoffrey's torture.
But remarkably, he is still alive. His blood-smeared eyes are half-open, half-closed, and weak breaths linger between his lips and nose. Crimson mist occasionally oozes from his eyes and ears, and peculiar, viscous light emerges from the blood holes in his body.
"The fusion is truly awful."
Sherick sneered mercilessly, showing no pity for his former kin, "Being devoured by a mere human is a disgrace. In this disgusting and broken shell, they fight each other, neither gaining the upper hand... I almost sympathize enough to cry."
The "almost crying" Devil opened a huge gap in its waist, from which monstrous arms reached out to seize Elrian, seemingly ready to throw him inside.
