Y/N was not really used to this new social media app. But she made an effort to create a nice profile. Just as she completed her profile, her phone buzzed. It was a text from an unknown account.
It simply read, "you're really fond of long bios huh?"
She replied, "Yeah I try to represent my personality in it."
The person replied, "kind of a waste of time, don't you think?"
Y/N scrunched her brows, "That's rude". She finally paid a bit more attention to their profile. The profile picture was a blurry photo of a guy. All she could make out was a sharp jawline and his luscious hair.
"I just meant that it's much easier and more accurate to know someone by just interacting with them."
Y/N looked at capitalisation and proper punctuation of this text. At least he put some effort into that. He now seemed almost slightly anxious not to be misunderstood by her, contrary to his previous casualness.
Y/N replied, "You're not wrong but bios can give someone a perception of a person."
He replied, "What perception do you get from my bio?"
Y/N clicked on his profile and saw a picture of a cat in his bio.
"That you don't like making bios but you do like cats." She typed.
"Bingo. But you could've gotten that from simply talking to me."
"We just started talking a minute ago." She rolled her eyes though he couldn't see.
"But maybe we could talk some more and then you can tell me your perception of me."
"Deal 🤝"
