Chapter 1 - The End of nothing life

I have this principle of mine. Never do anything unnecessary. People often confuse this for laziness but no, it is not laziness.

To me, it is a way to avoid trouble. The more things you do, the more chances of getting something wrong. Just do enough to get by, but not to get the spotlight.

Just hearing this, I know many will come criticising me that with this attitude, I am I'll never achieve anything significant in my life. And they are probably right about that. But so what? I don't want anything like that, I just want a peaceful nothing life, nothing out of odinary.

I have done this my whole life. I study just enough to pass my exams, I am social just enough so people don't hate me. I had never joined any school club, nor any optional extra curricular activities.

However, this might no longer be the case, all thanks to my dear sister Tamako. She graduated from high school last year. Instead of applying for college or job, she went chasing her heart. She loves adventure, so she made it her work for living. She is a youtube volgger. She rarely comes home only during family occasion.

She was a former member of a school club called "Classic Mistry Club" in the kiminari high. And so i happened to be going to the same school because it's entrance exam is really easiest in the town, he asked me to join the club. Last year when she graduated, the club has no members. If this year no one joined to club, it will be disbanded. She doesn't like that, so here I am with an admission form.

"Oh, so that's the story. I knew you won't willingly join a club". This is Amaeshi, Amae for short. I have to say, he is rather short for a guy. With us brown hair, acnes of his face and his slightly fatty figure, I won't say he look good.

"So what did this classics club of your do exactly?" Amae asked, showing his curiosity as always.

"I dunno, and I don't care" I said, actually like I don't care. The wind and golden evening light from window hitting my face. I looked like emotionless robot.

"That's so youu, Kyo-ish. Don't you think?"

Amae added before sitting up and picking up his shoulder bag.

"Anyway, I should get going now. It is getting late." He stood, looking at me preparing for leave.

"And try not to be a ghost member of the club, okay? Our school have strict policies about club activities." He added.

I didn't knew at all the I need to be present at club activities. "Hey, you mean I can't go home directly after school?" I asked, like a patient would to a doctor about his 3rd stage cancer.

"Nop, you can't. You need to stay a bit longer" he replied. "It's all written in the school admission form and rule book. Didn't you see it?"

You bet I am not the type to sit and read the several pages long paper. Anyway, it's bad either way. I can't go home directly, and I have this so called club activities.

"Later then, bye" he ran off waving his hand at me.

"No wait!," I tried to stop him, but he didn't. The guy must have hearing problems. How does he always have this much energy?

"I should submit this before going." Looking for the club advisor teacher of the classics club on the board the was outside of the teachers room.

"Arts club, manga club, chess club, music club.... Where is the classics club?"

I could find it in the board. It was full, from top to bottom with strange club names. But none was classics club.

Tired of searching, I decided it would be most efficient if I asked a teacher directly. Only to see one, only one old man eating cup noodles.

"Excuse me, but I looking for the faculty advisor of classics club."

I saw a lit up in the old man's eyes. He started coughing, uuh uuh. Gasturing me to come. I went inside, near his work station.

"Are you here to join the classics club?" The old man asked, expect a yes from me. Perhaps I felt that I need to say yes. He was using psychology. Fortunately I already decided.

"Yes, I am looking for the faculty advisor of the classics club to submit the registration form."

I replied in my most formal way possible.

"That would be me. You are accepted." The old man was the man I was looking for. As I left the room. The old man seemed very happy. Probably because he didn't wanted the club to be disbanded.

"Finally, tough day. I will go straight to bed after I reach home" saying to myself as I stretch my arms in the hallway.

"Just you see God. I won't let your attempt of ending my peaceful life succeed."
