Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The Origin War — Assault on Sector 0-Zero

Where: Void-Spear Citadel – Deep Orbit over Sector Rick-10

The throne room was still.

Not still — walls that moved constantly, pulsating with the low vibration of data tissue forged in entropy — but still in the manner that an army holds back before it strikes.

Zane stood before a multi-dimensional structure — a map built of compressed history, god-thought residue, and multiversal telemetry — with one glowing sector at the center of existence:

Sector 0-Zero — The Origin Zone

Where the multiverse had originally fragmented.

Where the first Ricks were created.

Where Morty Prime, the Singularity Boy, once roamed as a paradox in human form.

A place no Rick touched anymore.

Until now.

Zane's cloak glimmered with stardust and data-coal. His viral-flesh muscles flexed under tension that would have reduced planets to ash. His eyes focused like twin singularities.

He bellowed louder.

"Eris. Deploy the war fleet. We initiate our stride into Origin."

Eris (calmly): "Confirmation received. Initiating full invasion sequence. Opening stabilizer rift to Sector 0-Zero. Be advised: this zone is built upon chaotic constants and cannot be fully predicted. Risk of multiversal anomalies is extreme."

Zane stepped forward, eyes unwavering.

"We're not here to predict.

We're here to conquer."

The Fleet Moves

Four trillion units mobilized across Rick-10 and its subrealms.

Over 500 million warships of all classes.

Zanite Spartan Battalions clad in soul-eating armor.

Space Marines leaping between ship-hulls in mid-flight, guns humming with viral flame.

Null Hive carriers birthing new hordes in real-time.

Virus Titans dragging whole moons as siege engines.

Zane himself rode on the Void-Spear Citadel, now combined with Chrono-Titan hardware and living time-devouring brain.

The fleet plunged through the rift to Sector 0-Zero in a whirlwind of warpscream.

Sector 0-Zero — First Contact

Eris: "Contact with Origin Zone established. Reality instability: 63%. Caution: Physics laws are non-linear."

Zane stood on the bridge, observing as light bent in impossible ways. Time crunched forward and backward. One moment, they were in the depths of space. The next, planets overgrown with living equations and memory-beasts.

"Anchor our forces with Thought-Stabilizers. Deploy the Black Halo Corps to the local time nodes. Bolster reality until it obeys me.

Eris: "As you wish."

Within minutes, Zanite soldiers spread like wildfire, sending Chrono Nails to stitch timelines together in unison.

Zanite General Tarkon: "We are facing. resistances. Not Ricks. Not Mortys. They are. abstract entities."

The Origin Defenders Arrive

A procession emerged from the edge of an ancient black star, each ship ownership constructed out of discarded potential realities. Out came Zanite's defenders of Origin:

Rick Omega — the prime Rick, existing before matter.

Mortus Aeon — the eternally living Morty, who broke through the bounds of time.

Janice the Paradox Smith — a being created by a failure in resetting.

The Equation Wraiths — sentient algebraic ghosts.

Council of Reflection — beings from every unfulfilled possibility of Zane himself.

Confrontation

Rick Omega (lost, voice a dirge of failure):

"You don't belong here, Zane. This sector's older than gods. You think your viruses, your machines, your empire… can reach the origin?"

Zane moved forward on the hull of the Void-Spear.

"I don't need to reach it.

I'm here to recode it."

Mortus Aeon blinked across centuries, standing in front of Zane, expressionless face.

Mortus:

"I've watched every road you take, every world you incinerate. You lose here, Zane."

Zane's smile was fanged, slow, cold.

"Then I'll make a path you've never seen."

Battle of the Origin Stars

It began with a pulse.

Zanite fleets surged forward. Spartan soldiers breached abstract fortresses.

Eris launched viral floods that infected even metaphors — concepts broke like bones.

Magic, time, matter — all fused into battle.

Space Marines Zeta Core launched the first huge assault, delving into the Core World of Chrona's Heart, Origin's timeflow's old nerve-center. They fought The Moment Lords, entities made up of seconds and regret.

Void Armada Prime fought the Conceptual Fleet — idea-shaped ships that fired bullets of forgotten memories.

The Black Halo Corps infected dreamscapes and prayed with bombs.

Zane vs Rick Omega

On the wreckage of a broken dream-star, Zane stood before Rick Omega.

Rick Omega: "I wrote everything you are. I am not a man. I am source code."

"Then I am the update."

They collided with a scream of mind and flesh. Zane let loose viral firewaves. Omega endured with paradox anchors. Zane's soulplate rode the assault, and he bit down on Rick Omega's shoulder — consuming him.

Eris: "Rick Omega neutralized. Consciousness shattered. Infection complete."

Sector 0-Zero Falls

The conflict burned for ten subjective decades within the temporal fold — but only 13 minutes passed outside.

Zane raised his hand victoriously.

"Bring in the terraforming systems. Prepare to infect the origin."

Eris: "All resistance has been cleared. Commencing construction of Origin Command Megastructure: The Spiral Throne."

New Construction Begins

In Sector 0-Zero:

50 new Clone Planets orbiting thought-wells.

Mega Space Shipyards drafting hulls from crashed timelines.

Soul Reactors draining power from dead gods.

History Reforgers who began reshaping ancient reality into new truth.

Zane ordered the building of:

New Military Divisions:

Myth Reapers — to slay godly myths.

Chrono-Shields — who guard time itself.

Origin Burners — masters of destroying primal forces.

New Navy Divisions:

Echo Stars — warships constructed out of ancient music and screamwaves.

Thought Fang Armada — telepathic war fleets with dream engines.

Lawless Voidcraft — the ability to create gravity through ideology.

Final Address

Zane occupied the Spiral Throne, now firmly in the center of Origin.

"The multiverse had a beginning.

But now, I have remade it.

No god, no Rick, no time-walker has greater claim on reality than I.

Let this be recorded:

The Age of Ricks is over.

The Era of Zane. has begun."
