Alexina POV.
"Control it!"
"I'm trying!"
"No you're not Billy!"
I brought my arms infront of me, later creating a circle that created a fire so big it could engulf anything.
Feeling eyes on us, I know I can't become distracted.
I watched as Connor threw Billy over towards me with just the simple movement of his hand, taking all of us by suprise.
I took a step back and narrowed my eyes at Connor. We're not supposed to hurt each other.
"Connor!" I yelled and he just laughed.
Billy set his eyes on Connor and within seconds, Connor forcefully hit the brick wall that we all stood infront of.
"Billy!" I yelled angrily. We aren't meant to be hurting each other.
Water swirled around Connor like he was in the ocean, Billy held one arm out while making the simplest of spinning actions with his index finger.
Hudson took my lack of concentration to an advantage and before I know it, I'm being pushed against the wall, branches from trees began to roam around my body, pressing me against the wall, trapping me so that my body couldn't move.
This is possibly one of the worst ways to die, being suffocated by tree branches and soil? No thankyou. I'd rather be killed by a wizard or Werewolf.
"Hudson! I swear, put me down!" I growled and he remained stood there, laughing at me.
"Sorry? I can't hear you! I'm down here!" Hudson laughed and I felt my jaw clench at his sad humour.
Glancing at Connor, he nodded his head and I took a deep breath. Clearing my mind, I relaxed my body, the fire burning around me cremated the roots and branches that were holding me.
Holding my hand out, I shot fire towards Connor who fell to the ground, the water immediately disappearing as if it were never there.
You would think I'd fire it at Hudson but he really is just too damn cute.
"Oh shit," Hudson whispered and I could feel his fear.
He dug his fingers across the grass, trees building up higher and higher, but there was no point.
"Lexi-" Connor grinned and sighed at him.
"Yeah?"
"Can we try merging?" He asked and I nodded my head.
Immediately letting the fire flow from my hand, Connor directed it easily with his arms. My fire and the force of his wind could possibly take out any opponent.
A large cloud of fire hovered over Billy and Hudson, their faces beginning to drip with sweat from the heat.
Billy sent a rush of water, the fire immediately turning to liquid and before it could swallow us, I clicked my fingers.
The water turned into fire, harmless fire. It still had all its qualities, but it won't cause harm.
With one simple swish of his finger, Connor sent the fire flying to Hudson and Billy. Their bodies flew across the field, landing in a way that I wish upon nobody.
Eventhough I know I just mentioned we aren't supposed to hurt each other, I must admit... that felt good.
Grunting and brushing themselves off, Hudson and Billy stumbled towards us, Billy's hair a mess while Hudson looks a little lost.
Aww.
"Can we go inside now? Everyone is staring and I feel uncomfortable," Hudson whispered and I nodded my head before placing my arm around his waist.
"We all look horrible." Billy groaned as he dragged his feet along the grass.
"Not as horrible as you," Connor replied, amusement filling his voice and I shook my head.
"Take that back!" Billy retaliated and I rolled my eyes along with Hudson.
"Nope."
"Connor,"
"Billy."
Oh someone give me strength!?
-----
"Oh my- you guys were amazing!"
"Valentine totally whipped your asses!"
"Who knew you guys were actually this good?"
"How do you make fire appear from your hands!?"
"You're the guy who barricaded them with trees!"
I slipped through the crowds of peoole who were yelling and trying to converse with me and the boys.
I knew we were being watched, this is only the start.
Not just that, Connor likes to make friends with anyone and I'm not one for change. The boys are open to friendships with others. I'm not.
"Where are you going Lexi?" Hudson yelled over the crowds as I walked away towards the end of the hall.
"My room," I yelled back before skipping through the crowds and finally catching a breath.
People here really didn't believe that our powers were real? What kind of academy is this!?
Following the hallway that lead me out, I opened the door and realised that our dormitories are actually in a separate building.
Feeling the cold air brush against my skin, I pulled my blazer tighter around me as I navigate around the campus.
Sighing in relief as I found the girl's dormitory building, I ran over as rain began to pour down.
My room is 11B.
Ugh.
That's such a long way up.
"I can magic you up if you like-"
Leaping out of my skin at the high voice that appeared from behind me, I held my hand to my heart as I can feel it forcing its way out of my chest.
"What?" I questioned angrily.
I didn't mean to and judging from the look on her now frowning face, she wasn't expecting it.
"Sorry," I rubbed my forehead. "I didn't mean to speak to you like that," I shot her a reassuring smile and she threw one back.
"I'm Abigail Fredrickson," she held out a pale hand to shake, her red hair and green eyes matching her complexion perfectly. "I'm a witch-"
Stepping back from her as I know how malicious witches and wizards can be, its not all happy days like you see in the films.
They don't like to help anyone, they like to firmly stick with their own kind.
"You're a witch yet you're offering help?" I asked her dumbfounded. "To an elemental?"
Witches and wizards hate us. They think we mess with the forces of nature eventhough we are the forces of nature.
"I'm not like the others." She smiled sweetly. "I have morales."
"Really? So you wouldn't kill me if you had the chance?" I asked her, rasing an eyebrow.
"No why would I? Plus, you'd burn me alive before I got the chance," she chuckled and I opened my mouth to speak. "Yeah, I know you're the fire element."
"Oh." Was all that escaped my lips and she chuckled before holding her hand out once more.
"Come on- Malin will be so excited to meet you!" Abigail squealed and I reluctantly placed my hand in hers.
"Who is Malin?" I asked.
"The girl we both share a dorm with. Now, are you ready?" She grinned and I tightened my grip around her hand.
"Erm, well-"
"Great, let's go!"
"But-"
Oh for crying out loud
