Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Supplies

Lin Shuyao was on cloud nine.

No—cloud nine was too low.

She was soaring above the heavens

A library.

A whole damn library.

She spun once in place, arms stretched out, laughter bubbling in her throat. The weakness and pain she felt in the cottage all seemed to have vanished like it never existed.

"I'm a walking library!" she whispered to herself, trying not to yell in case the books demanded silence. "I. Have. A. Library."

In a world where she had nothing—no power, no wealth, no food, not even a name untarnished—she had been given the one thing she loved most.

Knowledge.

She wandered like a child in a candy store, eyes wide and sparkling.

"I may not have money, but I can make money!" She murmured happily. "And for my reputation...who cares about your background if you're capable!"

This was just perfect.

After coming down from the initial adreline, Her eyes darted around and landed on a piece of paper lying on a table nearby. Curious, she walked over and picked it up. The words were neatly written:

"Welcome, host, to your library. It holds the solution to every problem you may face.

There is also a supplies room that contains fruit and vegetable seeds, as well as medicinal herbs.

The seeds are rare and not found in this world.

All of these are unlimited and will replenish each time you use them. You are also provided with cloth bags of different sizes for taking the supplies to the outside world, which ofcourse are unlimited too.

Enjoy :)"

Her heart skipped. She didn't waste a second and rushed in the direction the paper pointed to.

The supplies room was big — much bigger than she expected. Rows of shelves lined the walls, and everything was neatly organized.

On one side, small cloth bags held a handful of seeds each — labeled clearly: strawberry, cranberries, cacao, corn, and more. It wasn't a lot, but it was more than enough. She could grow more once she planted them.

Further down, rows of jars and wooden burrows were stacked with dried medicinal herbs. Every container was labeled, and the air smelled faintly sweet and earthy. There was even

"This… this is amazing," she whispered. With the help of her golden finger, she'll definitely be able to live a prosperous and peaceful life in the future.
