Synopsis
After killing his brother Itachi, Sasuke Uchiha doesn’t find peace. He finds the truth. And then—he remembers. Fragments of a different life… watching this world unfold as fiction. A manga. An anime. A tragic tale of loss, sacrifice, and false peace. He remembers names, outcomes, betrayals. But most of all, he remembers what they did to his clan—and he no longer cares for reasons or justifications. “Itachi… even if you did it for me, you still killed them all.” Consumed by rage and clarity, Sasuke’s hatred sharpens into resolve. He rejects the redemption written for him. He no longer walks in shadows—he becomes the shadow itself. And then, the Leveling System: AVENGER CORE activates. [SYSTEM INSTALLED] [Player: Sasuke Uchiha – Level 60] [Class: Avenger] [Title: Last of the Uchiha] The system doesn’t save him. It doesn’t overwrite his pain. It evolves with it. Now, Sasuke can see his stats. His skills. Every ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu he’s ever learned—catalogued, upgraded, optimized. And as he grows stronger, the system offers a third Mangekyō Sharingan ability: Kage no Sasayaki — The Whisper of the Shadow. A silent clone made from darkness itself, mirroring his every attack. Armed with: • Amaterasu, the inextinguishable flame. • Kagutsuchi, the weaponized fire blade. • Kage no Sasayaki, his silent reflection. • And a system that grows stronger with every kill. Danzo. The village elders. Anyone complicit in the Uchiha’s fall. Even Naruto. This is not the story of a hero’s redemption. This is the rise of a calculated, broken, and unstoppable Leveling Avenger. And no one will rewrite his fate again.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Awakening in Blood

Chapter 1: Awakening in Blood

From the ashes of truth, vengeance is born.

Rain crashed against the jagged stone like falling blades. Deep within the ruined Uchiha hideout, thunder rumbled across the mountains, muffled only by the sound of water dripping through cracked ceilings.

Blood mixed with rain.

And the body of Uchiha Itachi lay motionless on the cold, fractured floor.

Sasuke stood over him.

His chest rose and fell in uneven gasps. Every breath felt like a blade drawn across his lungs. His vision blurred, not from pain but from exhaustion—yet he remained standing.

He wouldn't fall.

Not now. Not here.

Not after this.

His eyes—bloodshot, wide, and trembling—were locked onto the corpse of the man who had shaped his entire existence. The man who haunted every waking moment. The brother he had sworn to kill.

And now… it was over.

He had done it. He had won.

Itachi was dead.

But in the stillness that followed, nothing came.

No joy.

No peace.

No justice.

No closure.

Only a silence so deep it echoed.

Why… does it feel so empty?

A dull ache bloomed behind his eyes, quickly rising into a burning intensity. He staggered back a step, clutching his face, blinking through the searing pressure—

And then—it changed.

His vision sharpened. The blood in his eyes seemed to swirl, spiral, evolve.

A new pattern unfurled in his gaze. Crimson swirled into jagged tomoe, forming a beautiful, deadly spiral.

Mangekyō Sharingan.

But that wasn't all.

Because in the same moment, something foreign surged through his mind.

Not pain.

Not chakra.

Memories.

Images not his own. Pages turning. Screens flashing. Voice actors. Ink and color. Names he recognized—Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Konoha—but not as comrades.

As characters.

I've seen this before… no—read this before.

He staggered again, blinking hard. His breathing caught in his throat.

Fragments of another life. Not a shinobi. Not a fighter. But someone watching this world unfold—as fiction.

A reader.

What is this? These scenes… this knowledge…

Itachi's mission. Danzo's betrayal. The Elders. The Third. Konoha's mask of peace hiding murder and manipulation.

I know how this story ends. And I refuse to follow it.

Then—another voice echoed.

[LEVELING SYSTEM: AVENGER CORE – ACTIVATED.]

A cold blue interface unfolded in front of his eyes, smooth and sterile like glass, etched with glowing script.

He stared at it, unblinking.

A system?

This isn't genjutsu. Not chakra-induced hallucination.

It's like the games I remember from that other life…

He didn't panic.

He understood.

This wasn't a curse.

It was an advantage.

A gift from fate—or maybe a curse he would forge into a blade.

"I need to level up fast," he muttered. "I don't have time to play hero."

He knelt beside Itachi's corpse.

Not in grief. In purpose.

With silent hands, he reached down and removed Itachi's eyes. There was no hesitation. No tremble. Only precision. Purpose.

The last gift of a brother who thought he was protecting him.

You wanted peace. I'll give you truth.

He rose again.

The wind howled through the cavern, rain slicing across the stone like thrown senbon. His torn cloak clung to his body, soaked through, heavy with blood and storm.

And then—space distorted.

A spiral of dark chakra twisted open in front of him, warping the very air, and from it emerged a figure.

Black cloak. Orange mask. One eye.

Obito.

Sasuke's Mangekyō snapped toward him instantly. He said nothing. He didn't move. His gaze was unreadable.

So this is where you try to twist the truth. Where you play the wise shadow, the unseen hand.

Just like I saw in that other life.

Tobi. Obito. Liar.

But he showed none of it.

He simply stared.

Obito raised both hands slightly in peace. "Quite the storm," he said casually. "I see you survived."

Sasuke remained silent.

Obito stepped forward with calculated caution. "Don't worry. I'm not here to fight. I want to talk."

Still nothing.

Obito glanced at the body. "Do you know why your brother let you win?"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes.

Let me win?

Obito didn't wait. "Why he died with a smile?"

The silence hung between them.

"He didn't hate you, Sasuke. Everything he did… was for you. For the village."

Don't.

Don't give me that excuse.

I've seen how this scene plays out. I know your script. But I'll let you speak it… for now.

"And?" Sasuke said coldly. "What does that have to do with me?"

Obito's tone remained soft. "He carried the burden of traitor. Of murderer. But it was a mission—ordered by Konoha's council. Danzo. The elders. He killed his family… to prevent a civil war."

Sasuke's eyes flared with Mangekyō energy.

"So what?" he said. "You think that excuses him?"

Obito's eye narrowed slightly. "No. But I think you deserve to know the truth. The real enemy wasn't your brother."

Sasuke looked at his own hands—bloodstained, trembling with something deeper than fatigue.

You're not wrong. But you're not telling me this out of kindness.

You're testing me. Measuring how useful I'll be.

Fine. I'll let you believe it.

He looked up. "Then who is?"

Obito's voice dropped. "The people who made him do it. The ones who pull the strings behind Konoha's walls. The ones who feared your clan."

Sasuke turned slightly. Rain streaked across his face, washing nothing away.

Obito saw hesitation. He mistook it for doubt.

"You don't have to trust me," he said. "But if you want revenge—true revenge—I can help you."

A long pause.

Then Sasuke nodded once.

"Then I'll go with you. But not for you. I'll kill Danzo. I'll kill the elders. I'll burn Konoha to the ground."

And when I'm done… I'll kill you too.

That night, alone beneath the arching stone wall of the hideout, Sasuke sat cross-legged in the dark. Rain still tapped at the world outside, but he no longer noticed.

With a thought, the screen returned.
