Gu Fang woke up and looked around finding himself cold. He is sleeping on the ground without any clothes. Looking around the room he remembers where he is and recalled the horrible feeling of having his senses taken away.
His there is no clothes on him, no jewelry or weapons it seems he was stripped bare of everything. Feeling angry, he wanted to curse but then he saw the house is missing everyone ut had before.
Did she escape? That not right, he was passed out if she wanted his dead he would be dead. He covered himself with the sheet and walked inside the flat. He found all the other room fully furnished.
Then why was the living room stripped bare?
He searched for clothes in the house but the other rooms have non and the master bedroom has a single girl's clothes. The outside began to snow heavily. No wonder he was cold.
Turning on the aircon, he had to fins a way to close the hole on the wall it is letting in the chill.
He called his subordinates to bring him clothes and slept on the bed using the heavy blanket in the wardrobe.
Just then, he heard a noise feom downstairs. "Look I'm doing this for your own good."
"Shut up! You unfilial daughter! Uou are trying to kill me!"
"Can you stop whining? You sound worse than a little girl." She sneered.
"After I've regained mobility I will whip you!"
"Look, I can't be with you 24 hours so you need to awaken or at the very least have a strong enough body to run away from danger." She sounded a bit coaxing.
"I don't feel strong at all. Do you know what I'm feeling instead?" He asked her through gritted teeth.
"Homocidal rage?"
"Oh so you do know. Good, your death won't be a surprise then." The man said.
"We are not done."
"I'm done! I have been burried under mountain after mountain of my own filth for two days straight. You better kill me straightforwardly than use such a round about way."
"That was impurities..."
"Things that have been weighing my potential down I heard you the first time." He walked around but found no chair.
"Where is your furniture?"
"It was burned in an accident. Let's go to the kitchen." She pulled her father to seat in the kitchen dining chair.
"How do you feel?" I feel fine.
"You need to take one more pill then you can go back." She said giving his a small bottle.
"What does it do?"
"Purries your blood, it will help you awaken any hidden bloodline." She extended her hand and a tolon with razor sharp claws appeared in place of her hand.
"What the hell is that?" Her father got up and moved back from her.
"It's my spirit body, I have awakened. It will help me survive in this apocalypse. You need to awaken too before your daughter poisons you with an inhibitor. It will render you a useless person."
"Why would she do that?"
"To keep you in line. Her mother is still in love with you but as soon as she awakened you will be just as before. An artist without work in a prestigious family."
'Bang!' He slapped the table. "Don't talk to me like that. How do you know she wants to do this?"
"It's what I would have done. You can not be trusted with her mother." Lin Yu said calmly.

"Father, people will always do what is in their best interest and it is in their mother's interest that she fall out of love with you. Do you think I am the only one trying to make my parent strong? Isn't there something different about your wife recently?" She asked looking at him closely.
He kept silent and thought about it. Then his eyes shot to his daughter who is looking. At him as if he is a fool.
"Why would they treat me like this?"
"Think about whether you deserve it. In any case you have me. But I wouldn't advise falling out with them.
'Bang!' He slapped the table again. "Then I will do it! Let me eat more pills."
"Getting your body strong is not enough. You need to learn how to fight, become strong enough to stand on your own in this new world."
"What plans for you have? Where did uou get all these miraculous pills?" Her father asked curiously.
She gave him a glass of spirit spring water and a deep red pill. "Blood cleansing. Drink all the water." She instructed and sent him into the basement where a tub will be waiting for him to bathe.
"You can come down." Lin Yu said looking at the spot where Gu Fang standing on the stairs.
"You knew I was there?" He can camouflage himself which is how he survived her silent flames.
"I knew."
"Yet you spoke to him for so long?" He asked and she nodded.
"Where are my men?"
"Dead."
"How?" He gritted out. She took out the shadow flames and he rook a step back.
"What is it?"
"Not sure yet. But so far, it's made nuisance fo away. Are you going to be a nuisance Mr. Gu?" She blinked.
"I just want my things."
"The jade?" She tilted her head.
"Yes. It was my grandfather's." He said with a frown. His cold eyes showed which killing intent. If she were weaker, he would have already taken her life.
"So you braved the monsters outside to confront a mere thief because the jade belonged to your grandfather?" She blinked but nodded. I can only return four pieces.
She waved her hand and four of the 12 zodiac signs appeared on the kitchen table.
"I want all of them." He gritted out, eyes blood shot. The man looks to be a step away from exploding in rage. Instead of being intimidated, Lin Yu folded her arms and tilted her head.
"Based on what? You don't have the ability to make me surrender my things. Take your four pieces and go." She gave a dismissive wave.
The air thinned around her but she just scoffed and the next second the high pressure from spirit power is swallowed up by her own power.
She can combine her spirit power with her spirit force. Instead of having it put heavy pressure on others it can consume their spirit power.
Although she doesn't benefit from this power as the consumed energy doesn't come to her, she is still very happy about this power. "You can keep the sheet." She said as she walked up the stairs.
Gu Fang suffered a backlash of having his spirit power devoured and staggered to a seat wishing he had a cigarette.
Taking one of the four jade pieces on the table, he squeezed it. Blood trickled down from his nose because of the backlash and the piece disappeared.
Realizing something, he let his blood fall on the rest of the pieces and they all gave him more and more space. When he saw this, he realized the secretes in these jade pieces.
His men arrived and instead of using the weapons they brought to trouble Lin Yu, she made them take him to gather supplies.
Lin Yu spent three more days forging her father's body. When she is satisfied he can run 20 km/h she let him go back.
His body did not just gained strength but he also awakened gold powers which is a warrior ability, but he can create bullets and blades using them at will with in his spirit force range. She fed him spirit water which let him increase spirit perception range.
Then she gave him a space jade zodiac piece allowing him to store items even when his powers are obstructed. Then she helped him stock up on a little bit of everything including ice, fire wood, cooked food she duplicated form all the take aways she had bought before.
Then she put blankets, padded jackets, socks and warm winter clothes and summer light bedding and clothes. She didn't forget to give his a weapon from the ones with runes.
She gave him healing pills, normal first aid and cigarettes, wine, beer and cola.
"I feel like you are saying good bye." Her father looked at her sharply.
"Your daughter will open a sect in the future and if she comes after me I need a team." Lin Yu explained simply.
"What do you mean if she comes after you?" He asked.
"She has killing intent towards me. I can't close my eyes and hope it goes away. If they ask what happened to you, tell them I forced something down your throat and it made you sick."
"That's not a lie."
"Yeah. Good luck. Be careful." She walked him home but went back downstairs.
She didn't go back to her flat she has emptied it of everything and will leave for a while. The outside is too quiet as if the shadows are full of lurking monsters. But mutated organisms are not afraid of the snow.
Just as this thought crossed her mind, she jumped three meters into the air avoiding a critical strike from a long metal object.
She got back down a long knife already at hand, she cut down with a sound of metal against mental and the long sharp object that had attacked her fell on the ground. The other part retreated back into the shadows.
She walked step by step towards the metal object and saw it twitch on the ground.
She extended her hand and incinerate it with a shadowy flames and turned to leave. However, seeing such a dangerous thing near her home, she reluctantly followed it into a whole in the that goes into the building.
She entered by removing the wall in her way and after going through three walls she finally saw a vibrant looking green flower and decisively attacked it. The plant quickly transformed into a metal plant with long retractable vines.
Seeing this, Lin Yu is not afraid. She surrounded her body with her spirit power then flooded the room thick shadows but unlike before when others lost their senses, it doesn't seem to be the case.
The plant kept attacking her and she kept cutting down the long metal vines of its body grazing them with her fire.
Soon it had no more spirit energy to grow more vines and quickly devoured by the black me. The problem is that everything in this house is not completely erased leaving it just as empty as her own living room when she first used her powers.
Lin Yu walked out of the several human shaped holes she made on the wall of the building before. Only to bump into several men and maybe women wearing tactical gear and ready to shoot.
"Lin Yu?" Just as she is contemplating killing these people obstructing her path, a familiar voice sounded.
She turned to see Xu Jun taking off his protective helmet. "Did you still Xu group's cargo ships in the city docks?" He asked her seeing she is the one pointed at by the energy tracer.
Lin Yu didn't change her expression. "I went there but I didn't see any cargo ships." She lied through her teeth. She had completely forgotten about this energy tracer it has the ability to trace peoples unique spiritual imprint.
"You have to come with us to verify that it wasn't you." He said signaling for a man behind her to pull her away. Feeling cornered, Lin Yu released her super power and blinded them of her whereabouts, then she let them be unconscious before walking away.
She will have to be certain next time. But before she made it far, her head is hit by someone making her also fall unconscious immediately catching hee before she fell to the ground.
The next time she woke up she is inside a cell. It seems she was captured by the Xu family, which is unfortunate because this family is the male leads backing for a reason. He is basically a prince of the end times royalty.
"I see you are awake." Xu Jun js the first person she sees upon waking up. "Why did you steal our supplies?"
"Your missing things are supplies? How sad for you." She looked around and found she can not use her spirit power inside this place.
"This is where we imprison dangerous spirit warriors. You need to confess and tell us were you hid our supplies." Xu Jun stern voice came from the other side of the cell screen.
The cell is spacious and tidy with three pieces of furniture. A bed, a chair and a table. "The accommodation is three times what a normal survivor can afford outside. Touched." She said with a languid expression laying down on the bed.
"Those materials will feed thousands of people for at least 4 years." Seeing her not taking the situation seriously at all, Xu Jun gritted out.
"Brother in law, don't get angry. I really don't know who stole your things. How to transport and where to hide all these items? Are you so sure it was me that you are willing to waste time on me instead of going out there to get investigate?"
She sat up and looked at her finger nails.
"The only other signal in that area was yours."
"And you're sure there's no way to hide from your machines? Uou are willing to put everything on this one assumption?"

"Why do you look so hagared?" Mrs Lin asked his daughter.
"I have an important mission but I can't start on it unless my enemies are all eliminated." Lin Mei said gloomily.
"Are you talking about killing people?" Lin Hau asked her.
"It's non of your business." She hissed. Then pulled her brother into her room then they both entered her space.
"What's wrong?" Oin Miyue asked her seeing she seems more than agitated.
"Did uou see Hau's condition?" She asked him. Lin Miyue thought about it and nodded. After Lin Yu took him away he came back looking 10 years younger, his body is as strong as a tier three warrior and his gold ability is at 3 levels peak making him very powerful.
"This means just like me, she has some important treasures that can help her create ability users maybe even grow armies in the future. She is a threat!" Lin Mei paced around her brother.
"It seems so but so far she hasn't done anything to us. We have known her since she was a child..." His voice laced with hesitation.
"She poisoned and killed our mother! Right in front of me and then sold you were sold to the base by her parents while I lived like a rat with crippled legs. Had it not been for Xu Jun I would have been sold to an unclean place by her. She is ruthless and unlike you, she doesn't recognize family ties." Lin Mei said hoarsely. Her eyes blood shot.
Previously she had thought about ignoring Lin Yu since she is not very smart but now when she realized that mad woman has resources that can make her a true enemy, Lin Mei will not let the wound fester. It is better to cut it out directly.
"I just heard from Xu Jun that she is suspected of stealing 4 years worth of supplies and is currently being held in their confinement center. I am going to ask him to kill her for me." She said resolutely.
"Then why talk to me at all about it? Unless you still want to be convinced otherwise?"
"I want to know your answer. She is your half sister too." Lin Mei said gloomily.
