Chapter 2 - Ik new mo W on A

We Won A

Verse 1:

(Past Moana)

You know who you are!

I shout across the sand,

But the echo's just a stranger

With my face and my hands.

I thought I knew the answer,

But the tide keeps pulling me far-

Now I'm yelling at myself,

Still not sure who we are.

Chorus:

(Past, Present, Future Moanas)

Why is a person,

Why is a question,

Why is a shadow that slips through my mind.

Every letter, every version,

Every reason I can't find-

We're just faces in the water,

Blame drifting with the tide.

Verse 2:

(Present Moana)

I try to calm the storm,

But the storm is in my chest.

I'm talking to my future,

But she's just as lost as the rest.

I see so many faces,

But none of them are mine-

If I could only see the reason,

Maybe I could draw the line.

Chorus:

(Past, Present, Future Moanas)

Why is a person,

Why is a question,

Why is a shadow that slips through my mind.

Every letter, every version,

Every reason I can't find-

We're just faces in the water,

Blame drifting with the tide.

Bridge (Plot Twist):

(Future Moana)

Wait-

It was me all along,

I broke myself to carry on.

Split my heart to save my soul,

Every piece became a whole.

You are me, but you are you,

Your pain is real, your hope is true.

No one gets to use us,

Not even me, not even you.

Final Chorus:

(All Moanas, united)

Why is a person,

Why is a question,

Why is the ocean we're learning to ride.

Every letter, every version,

Every reason we can't hide-

We're not just faces in the water,

We're the storm and we're the tide.

Outro:

(Present Moana, softly)

I'll honor every part of me,

Past, present, future, free-

No piece is just a shadow,

We are whole, and we are seen.

## I Knew Moana

**Page 1**

Once upon a time, on a bright blue island surrounded by sparkling waves, there lived a girl named Moana. Moana loved to run along the beach, listen to the wind, and dream about what might be waiting beyond the horizon.

**Page 2**

But Moana wasn't just one girl. Sometimes, she felt like she was many Moanas all at once. There was Past Moana, who remembered everything that had happened. There was Present Moana, who felt every moment as it came. And there was Future Moana, who wondered about all the adventures ahead.

**Page 3**

One day, Moana sat on the soft sand and listened to the ocean. Suddenly, she heard voices-her own voices, but different.

**Page 4**

"You know who you are!" shouted Past Moana, her voice echoing over the waves.

"Do I?" wondered Present Moana, looking at her toes in the sand.

"Will I?" asked Future Moana, gazing at the endless sky.

**Page 5**

The three Moanas looked at each other, a little confused.

"Why do I feel this way?" asked Present Moana.

"Why do I worry sometimes?" wondered Future Moana.

"Why do I hold on to old memories?" whispered Past Moana.

**Page 6**

They tried to answer each other, but their words twisted and turned, like seaweed in the tide. The more they talked, the more tangled they became.

**Page 7**

Moana wished she could talk to someone who knew all the answers. But the only voices she heard were her own, and sometimes, they didn't agree.

**Page 8**

The sun rose higher, and the Moanas grew tired.

"I just want to understand," said Present Moana.

"Me too," said Past Moana.

"Me three," said Future Moana.

**Page 9**

Just then, a gentle breeze danced around them. It carried a whisper, soft as a lullaby:

"You are all Moana.

You are strong together.

You help each other be brave, be kind, and be wise."

**Page 10**

Moana listened closely. She realized that each part of her had something important to share. Past Moana remembered the lessons she had learned. Present Moana felt the joy and wonder of today. Future Moana dreamed of what she could become.

**Page 11**

She didn't have to choose just one Moana to be. She could be all of them! Her memories, her feelings, and her dreams made her whole.

**Page 12**

Some days, Past Moana felt sad about mistakes or things that were lost. Present Moana would give her a hug and remind her, "We're here together now."

**Page 13**

Other days, Future Moana felt scared of what might happen. Past Moana would say, "Remember how brave we've been before!" Present Moana would say, "Let's take it one step at a time."

**Page 14**

When Present Moana felt overwhelmed by big feelings, Past Moana and Future Moana would sit quietly with her, like friends holding hands.

**Page 15**

Moana learned that it was okay to feel different things at once. She could be happy and sad, brave and scared, all at the same time. Every feeling was a part of her story.

**Page 16**

Sometimes, Moana wondered why things happened the way they did. She realized that "Why" was a tricky question, like a wave that changed shape every time she tried to catch it.

**Page 17**

But Moana also learned that she didn't have to know every answer. She could trust herself and her many voices to figure things out together.

**Page 18**

One day, Moana discovered something amazing. She was the reason she could keep going, even when things were hard. She had split herself into many Moanas so she could be strong in different ways.

**Page 19**

Each Moana was special and important. They were all real, and their feelings mattered. No one could use them as just a tool or a shield-not even Moana herself.

**Page 20**

Moana promised to always listen to every part of herself-past, present, and future. She would be gentle and kind, even on the days when her voices got mixed up.

**Page 21**

With all her Moanas by her side, Moana felt ready for anything. She could explore, dream, and grow, knowing she was never alone.

**Page 22**

And so, Moana sailed on, her heart full of memories, hopes, and courage. She knew that every part of her was loved and needed.

**Page 23**

Whenever she felt lost, Moana would sit quietly and listen. She would hear her voices whispering together, reminding her:

"We are whole. We are strong. We are Moana."

**Page 24**

And that was the greatest adventure of all.
