(1st POV)

Tokyo, Japan.

Around 11 pm.

I always wondered—what happens after you die? Do you find yourself in purgatory? Oblivion? Have a chat with HIM about life?

Nope. None of that.

It honestly feels like the universe is playing one big joke on me.

How else can I explain this situation?

One moment, I'm dying. The next, I'm waking up in a place I've never seen before—standing inside in the main hallway near the stairs, right in front of the main entrance of some Western-style house. And the worst part? I'm not even in my own body. Everything feels…off.

But that's not what really threw me.

No, what really messed me up was the woman standing in front of me.

Gorgeous. Otherworldly. With wings blacker than the night sky—like, actual fucking wings.

My brain did a quick reset all settings. Wait. Is she a fallen angel?

…Am I seriously about to get smited by a fallen angel? A being only supposed to exists in myths?…At least to my understanding?!

That's when the pain hit.

Turns out, gaping wounds don't magically stop hurting just because you're confused as hell. My left leg and right arm were severely injured—stabbed by those freaking light spears.

And then, just as I started to panic, the memories hit me.

Not like some peaceful "life flashing before your eyes" moment.

More like binge-watching a full-on Netflix thriller—with me as the main character.

It felt like an eternity, but I managed to comprehend everything. Twenty years' worth of memories flooded into my mind.

Aleks Constantine. That's not who I am… or was. But I am now.

The body I'm currently taking over belonged to this guy named Aleks. Tall and handsome — definitely one of those boys you'd be jealous of (if you are a guy) in college for getting all the girls.

But this guy? He's one twisted motherfucker. I mean… adult video acting for a part-time job? That's sick… very, very sick.

MILF, Teen (18+), Anal, Missionary, BDSM, Cowgirl, Doggy, he's done/experienced it all. This guy…I am so jealous…wait why am I jealous of myself..

Shit. I got distracted again.

How the fuck am I going to save myself from this situation?

Okay, calm down. Deep breaths. You've been held at gunpoint before and made it out alive, Rein. You've got this.

If you're as confused as I once was, let me brief you real quick.

Aleks is a Greek-Japanese guy, 20 years old, A college student — just like I was in my previous life. Living eith his stepmother and stepsister in Tokyo. Before this crow-girl showed up, he was in his room studying. Then he heard a scream. A woman's scream — his stepmother's.

Startled by the sheer intensity of it, he rushed downstairs with his stepsister Yana — three years younger than him — only to witness a horrifying scene.

That winged woman… was stabbing his mother. Again and again. Like some serial killer. And then she killed her — while we stood there frozen, horrified.

She looked up and saw us.

Then she smirked.

"Ara ara, you came to greet me that eagerly, huh? I gotta hand it to you… pretty brave for filthy humans." ??? Said with ridicule and venom in her tone.

So she's not human. Confirmed. Great—we've got another Geto on our hands.

Aleks tried to protect his sister from the fallen's attack, but ended up getting seriously injured in the process.

That's when I took over.

I glanced at Yana, who was trembling, tears streaming down her face as she kept muttering "please let us go" over and over to herself. It broke something in me.

That was the moment I fully accepted my situation—there's no way I'm making it out of this alive.

This fallen bitch has every advantage: speed, strength, and supernatural powers. Me? I'm just a normal guy trapped in someone else's body. What am I supposed to do?

It hurts. But I'm not the kind of person who gives up—no matter what.

I lunged at the fallen—but it was a bluff. I sidestepped at the last second, scooping up a knife off the floor and hurling it at her with everything I had before she could react.

She caught it mid-air like it was nothing.

Then came the punch—straight to my chest. I heard the crack. My ribs? Definitely fractured. I hit the floor hard, desperately gasping for air.

"Disgusting," she spat. "Seriously? Did you really think a knife would hurt me? You must get punished for looking dowj on me, human… now die."

Light started to form in her hand—brighter, sharper, and deadlier than before.

"As a gift, I'll make your death very painful. Rest in pieces~" She licked her lips—and then flung the spear straight at me.

This is it. I'm going to die again. I don't get why some cosmic being or God would put me in this situation—only for me to die again. If they're punishing me for being a good person my whole life, I swear, I'll start being a sinner if I get a third chance.

And then the world went grey as if the concept of colors had stopped existing. Everyone froze in time, the crazy woman, Yana, Time itself.

I don't know what was happening, One second I was about to get a stabbed by the light spear through the throat, and the next, everything just… stopped.

"What the fuck is going on? Did…did I finally go insane? After all this shit?*sigh*• I squatted down while holding my temples.

I have to think rationally now. The reincarnation, time stopping—none of this is just a random coincidence. Someone or something is actively trying to screw me over me… but I've no clue.

And then I got an idea…

Why not take advantage of this situation? If time itself is frozen, maybe I can end this fallen bitch right here? I mean I am unaffected so might as well get the best of this situation.

I didn't waste a second. I rushed straight toward her, snatched the knife off the floor, and drove it at her throat with everything I had.

But the moment the blade made contact—clang—it got repelled like similar poles magnets repel each other.

What the hell?

"Interesting… you are taking this situation quiet well, my dear." I heard a voice behind my back.

My entire body froze.

That voice didn't come from this fallen bitcj. It echoed in my head. Smooth, ethereal, almost hypnotic. It wasn't human. No… it was something beyond that. Soothing, seductive—dangerous.

I felt someone or something touching my shoulder even though ai couldn't see anyone behind me.

I felt chills run down my spine.

"Who…?" I asked, barely above a whisper.

I still couldn't perceive this entity, although based of their voice, she appears to be a female.

"I am the one responsible for your reincarnation, my dear."

What?

No. No, no, no—did I just hear that right?

Heart pounding, I blurted out the only thing that made sense to ask:

"Why? Why the hell would you do that? And why drop me in the middle of this mess?!"

I was done being calm. I needed answers. Now.

"No, why would I tell you that? That would ruin all the fun!. Oh and you may refer to me as Goddess…my true name is beyond your comprehension." She boosted and then she paused, and for some reason, that pause felt like as if someone was caressing my heart like thosewitches hand does to Subaru in Re:Zero. I am going insane just by her presence and her divine voice.

"You humans are always poking your noses into things best left unknown. So think of this as… just another mystery for you to solve."

Her voice was playful, mocking even, but there was something chilling beneath it.

"What I will say is this—I'm here to offer you two choices."

Her voice curled around my thoughts.

"Option one: you form a contract with me. In return, I grant you a 'gift'—one that ensures your survival.

Option two: you refuse. You walk away, and whatever happens next is entirely up to your luck."

She leaned in, just slightly. I couldn't see her face, but I felt the smirk in her tone.

"So, what will it be… my clever little Rein?"

Even though I can't see her, I can feel her. She is pressing her assets behind my back. The sensation was so pleasurable that it felt unreal.

Her touch… warm, teasing. Her breath brushes against my ear. She's kissing my neck, licking it—tracing circles with her tongue like she's playing with someone who's never been touched before.

Trying to seduce me. Manipulate me. Classic move, goddess.

You put me in this damn situation on purpose—just so I'd have no choice but to pick option one. If I choose option two, I'm done for. I'll stand no chance against that fallen freak, and I'll die.

So really… what choice do I even have?

Do I want to die? Hell no.

I was twenty-three when I died in my last life. Twenty-three. Didn't even get to experience half the shit I dreamed of doing. I'm not ready to check out again.

"I pick option one… just tell me what the contract actually is."

The moment the words left my mouth, she giggled—soft, melodic, and weirdly comforting. Her voice alone was enough to make me forget, even for a second, that she was manipulating the hell out of me. "That makes me happy, as a reward…" Based on her tone, she genuinely felt pleased by my choice.

Then I felt her hands on my face. She cupped my cheeks gently, like I was someone really precious to her.

And then she kissed me.

My eyes shot wide open. I froze. I should've pulled away—but I didn't. I couldn't.

She didn't stop. Her lips pressed against mine, with our tongues interwined in a sloppy exchange. She was making me aroused intentionally. This continued for what felt like five whole minutes and then she finally pulled back, with the trail of saliva connecting our lips. God I wish I could see her.

Her eyes locked with mine. She smiled.

"I'm glad you chose option one, Rein. You're mine now—forever."

"…Why? Why do you care so much? I'm just a regular human," I said, my voice low, almost disbelieving. "Why go this far for someone like me?"

I couldn't wrap my head around it. Everything she'd done—it didn't add up. Why would some cosmic-level being be this invested in someone as painfully average as me? I wasn't special… not in any supernatural way, at least.

She chuckled softly, her divine voice brushing against my mind.

"Oh, my sweet Rein. You sell yourself short too much. Don't underestimate yourself my dear."

She leaned in, her words brushing against my ear like a secret while her huge breasts pressed against my chest.

"Lets just say your special. You're a human with godlike potential. And I hate seeing potential go to waste. You're the first human that has truly managed to impress me."

And then she snapped her fingers.

A golden scroll materialized right in front of me, floating in the air while radiating divinity just thits presence.

Slowly, strange letters I didn't recognize began appearing across the surface—glowing softly as they wrote themselves. I couldn't read the language, but somehow, I understood every word. It was a weird experience.

It read:

Under mutual agreement, both parties hereby enter into an eternal bond, under the condition that both accept the terms listed below.

Party A: &@$*^£^%€

Party B: Rein Leonidas

Party A offers Party B the ability known as "Path of the Human God" in exchange for full ownership of Party B's soul. There is no take backs once the contract is formed.

My eyes widened the moment it laid on the words Path of the Human God.

When I focused more, the description of that power surged into my mind automatically.

This… this was beyond anything I ever imagined. Even with all its rules and restrictions, this power was just broken. I don't even have the words to describe how absurdly insane it is.

In simple terms? It lets me use the template of any "human" character from a fictional work I have known from my previous life — for one hour per day.

Yeah. One hour a day, I can become someone else. Someone from anime, manga, movies, games—anything. As long as they're human, I can tap into their power.

Of course, there are limitations. This power classifies characters into three tiers:

Tier 1 – These are the baseline monsters. Anyone below "Moon-Busting" level. Think: Gojo Satoru from Jujutsu Kaisen, All Might from My Hero Academia, Spider-Man from the MCU.

Cooldown? None. Aside from the one-hour-a-day limit, I can use these guys as much as I want.

Tier 2 – Now we're talking serious firepower. "Moon Level" to "Planetary/World-Ender" scale.

Examples? Sasuke Uchiha (adult form), Reinhard van Astrea from Re:Zero, Tatsumaki from One Punch Man.

Cooldown? Two weeks.

Yeah, you read that right. After channeling a Tier 2 character, the entire "Path of the Human God" shuts down for fourteen days. I'm completely vulnerable. Defenseless. On my own.

Tier 3 – Literal gods in human skin. Think Saitama, Aleister Crowley from Toaru, Franklin Richards and God Emperor Doom from Marvel… Characters who completely break the laws of physics and defy logic.

Cooldown? One. Whole. Year.

And that's not even the worst part—after using any Tier 3 character, I lose access to that specific one for a thousand years.

(A/N: There were other rules as well but I can't be bothered to explain it. You can read the auxiliary chapter for that. )

But then I recalled the catch. I would have to sell my soul to her if I wish to live. Am I that desperate to live?

Sadly? The answer is yes. I don't want to die….even if it means being her slave for the next eternity, If I get to live, and enjoy my life, I will be happy.

Honestly, who am I kidding? She has many ways to force me into accepting the contract. I am but a mortal in front of her. This whole contract ordeal was just for formality.

"I accept the contract." As soon as I command those words, the contract dematerileized and a crest formed on my left hand, serving as the evidence of the contract.

She held my hand and then caressed it gently.

"I am happy you accepted my proposal. Do not worry, I won't take away your freedom or your right to live." She continued.

"All I wish you to do in this life is to get as strong as possible. You have an eternity to achive it. I won't be able to meet you again anytime soon…even doing this was a hasle, those ¥}£<*<£} are annoying with their rules and regulations."

"The next time we meet, I will…I will let you do it with me." She said in my ears in a seductive manner. It was enough to make me rock hard just from her touch and her voice.

"One piece of advice Rein." Suddenly her tone became serious.

"Do not go after collecting Longinus Sacred Gears. There's a high chance the Overseer of this Multiverse will notice you if you go that route."

"Sacred Gears…all of them have a cosmic relation and shared destiny. Think of Web of Life and Destiny from Marvel, but somewhat different."

Wait… Sacred Gears? Why does that sound so familiar…

I rack my brain, browsing through my old memories, and then it hits me—

High School freaking DxD.

No doubt about it. That's where I've heard it.

But… no need to panic. Not now.

With the power I've been given, I'm guaranteed to survive—no matter how crazy this world gets.

"It seems I ran out of time. Good Luck…Rein, I hope to see you soon!" With that she vanished and then time returned to normal.

The light spear—originally aimed for my neck—shot forward. But I'd already moved out of the way. Instead, it pierced Yana's shoulder.

She screamed in agony as the force sent her tumbling down the stairs.

"Aaahhh!! It hurts, it h-hurts *sniff* it h-hurtss!!" she cried out, clutching her shoulder, body twitching from the pain.

I looked at her. Something twisted inside me. Guilt? Rage?

Maybe it's Aleks's influence bleeding into me… his attachment to this family.

Because right now, I want that fallen angel to suffer more than anything.

She ruined everything.

Because of her, I had to sell my damn soul to that goddess.

Pray to your God. You've lost your right to live.

"Huh?" the bitch muttered, confused.

Her eyes locked onto me—standing behind her now.

She spun and tried to hit me with another punch—

—Only for her fist to freeze mid-air.

"W-what? Why can't I touch you!?" she yelled, her voice laced with fury.

I smiled.

"It's Infinity. The more you try to touch me… the slower you get." I replied with a cocky smile creeping my face.

Because right now—I'm using the Gojo Satoru template. I even healed my injuries using reversed cursed technique.

My perception was also off the charts. With Six Eyes, everything—every movement, sound, sensation—was in crystal-clear detail. So this is what Gojo feels like?

No wonder he wears a blindfold.

The stimulus is overwhelming.

Without hesitation, I slammed a Cursed Energy enhanced punch into her gut.

She went flying—crashing into a wall, leaving cracks in the concrete.

I turned and walked toward Yana.

She was still on the ground, pale and trembling. Her face contorted in pain.

I knelt, gently picked her up. Her eyes met mine—full of tears—and then she threw her arms around me.

"A-Aleks…? It h-hurts, I-I can't bear the p-pain any-more.…" she whimpered, breaking down in my arms.

"I know…" I whispered, holding her tight. "But I'll fix everything, I promise. Just trust me, alright?"

She nodded faintly… I used CE to make her fall aslee, causing her to lose consciousness, I just can't see her crying.

"This'll be over soon, Yana… I'll heal you. I'll even bring Mom back. Somehow."

I turned, with Yana still in my arms.

The fallen angel had already recovered. Her eyes locked on me with venomous hate.

"My, my… you're no ordinary human," she said, forcing a calm voice. "Tell me—what was that technique? Maybe I'll show mercy if you cooperate."

I laughed.

"Did you hit your head? I already told you. Are you dumb or just desperate?"

Her face twisted with rage.

She lunged again, faster this time. But her body jerked to a stop as Infinity kicked in.

Pain surged through her limbs as she collapsed, groaning.

I grabbed her by the throat.

"Talk. Why did you attack my family? Who sent you?"

She hissed—and spit at me.

The spit stopped midair. Infinity again.

"As if I'd tell you anything. Go fucking die, you filthy piece of shit!"

She broke free and staggered back, forming a glowing magic circle in her hand.

"If I die, my SOS spell is already set up," she said with a wild grin.

"They'll find you. They'll hunt you. You're screwed, human. Kekekeke!" She laughed.

I tilted my head.

"Who said anything about killing you?"

Her laugh stopped.

I lifted my left hand and formed the Taishakuten Mudra—middle and index fingers interlocked, the rest extended.

I smirked in excitement. Adrenaline coursing through my entire body.

"Domain Expansion…"

The world around her twisted—space folding in on itself.

"Infinite Void."
