After Notch, the creator of Minecraft, vanished from the industry, he didn't actually stop making games as everyone thought. In truth, he had been secretly collaborating with Microsoft to launch Project Aden — an MMO-sandbox game powered by Neuron Link technology, connecting players' brains directly to a fully immersive virtual world, hosted on the largest deep-sea server ever built by humankind.

Aden isn't just a game — it's another world.A world where NPCs possess intelligence equal to humans.A world without quests, levels, or pre-written stories.Every player has complete freedom to build cities, overthrow kings, or become legends — and every action ripples at the atomic level, thanks to the Node Simulation Engine, which simulates physics more realistically than the real world.

Millions of players flocked to this new Eden, ready to begin life in a medieval fantasy realm...Until one day, a mysterious party appeared.

They started by crafting tools. Then they built factories. They monopolized the market, developed weapons, and waged economic war —transforming the land of swords and sorcery into a sci-fi industrial empire.

And thus began the unstoppable Industrial Revolution in the fantasy world…

  World of Aden

1. Serera

The easternmost continent, divided into North Serera and South Serera by the Caupasian Mountains Range. The land stretches from the flat plains near the Balunia Savannah to the northern peninsula.

South Serera – A vast temperate lowland with the Ballash River flowing through it. The region is oval-shaped, somewhat like a pufferfish. It consists of three main kingdoms:

Ouestland to the west of the Ballash River

Skorra to the east of the river up to the Caupasian range

Australis, a southern kingdom located on the tip of the peninsula.

North Serera – Larger than its southern counterpart and stretching from the Kaopesian range into temperate and cold climates. The geography is diverse: mixed forests, spruce woods, tundras, and highlands with scattered mountain chains. The region contains dozens of small and large kingdoms, and is home to elves and goblins. It also houses Lumia, the sacred city and spiritual center of the Church of Light, as well as the Holy Empire of Himmel, the dominant power of the continent.

2. Balunia

A long, narrow continent is set between Malon and Serera, primarily made up of deserts, savannas, and oases. The people here have darker skin tones due to sun adaptation. Known as the "Continent of Innovation," Balunia is a major trade bridge between continents.

3. Malon

The far-western continent with the most diverse climate and geography, and the densest population in Aden.It includes deserts (adjacent to Balunia), tropical rainforests in the south, mixed woodlands, northern steppes, high plateaus, and limestone mountain ranges. Two major rivers — the Yang River in the north and the Yin River in the south — define its terrain.

Key states include:

The Kingdom of Shang – Located in the center of Malon and known by locals as Yazhou. It is the largest kingdom in Aden in both size and cultural influence. Shang rarely trades directly with other continents, engaging only with the Santara Federation. Its cultural exports, such as silk, celadon pottery, porcelain, compasses, and tea, are found even in Serera, especially among the nobility and clergy.

The Santara Federation – A southern maritime federation of Malon, consisting of tropical forests and islands.Once a pirate confederation of various ethnic groups, it has grown into a powerful maritime trade state.Governed without kings or nobles, it operates under a central parliament that passes laws and delegates regional power. Each district has unique customs and autonomy, making the Federation notably diverse and decentralized.

The Northern Tribes (Hanryeo) – Stretching from the steppes of northern Malon into the northwest of Balunia, these warrior cultures are collectively called Hanryeo. They include diverse tribes such as:

Gurche – experts in horseback combat

Silla – known as pirates raiding northern Serera

Tobuk – herders adapted to harsh wintersCommon traits of Hanryeo culture include linguistic similarity, a focus on martial prowess, and the expectation that even women join the battlefield.Despite their seemingly barbaric image, cultural exchange occurs, and their rune-like writing and borrowed vocabulary from Yazhou have spread to some elven clans.

4. Teckopolao

A mysterious and extreme continent — containing tropical jungles, volcanoes, snowfields, and deserts all within a single landmass. Though known to all continents, no one has ever fully explored or set foot on it. Teckopolao remains isolated, engaging only in trade with the Santara Federation.

It is a treasure trove of rare resources, including:

Gold

Cocoa

Mithril ore

Infernium compounds

Demon organs…all of which are immensely valuable and originate from this enigmatic land.
