The moon still hung.The stars still shone.
But peace was over.
A Sudden Explosion
A thunderous BOOM cracked the still night —stone shattered, wood splintered, earth trembled.An entire segment of the Demon Slayer HQ wall erupted outward, glowing red and collapsing in flame.
Screams tore through the compound.
Before the dust even settled—they poured in.
Hell Knights — towering, armored, grotesque —their flaming mauls smashing into Kakushi and lower-ranked slayers.
A Baron of Hell, its horns glistening with gore, snarled like a bull from nightmare.And at the heart of it all — a cackling figure cloaked in blood-red hellsteel:
The Laughing General.
Eyes aflame. Mouth stitched into a permanent grin.Leading the slaughter on the King of Hell's command.
The lower-ranked slayers froze.Some screamed.Most were simply gutted.
Kakushis were torn apart, tossed into the air like dolls.
One hell knight grabbed a young slayer by the face and crushed his skull against a pillar.Another cleaved two down in a single swing.
Blood painted the compound.
Instant Response
Rooms lit up. Doors slammed open.
"Intruders!""Demons! DEMONS!"
Blades flashed.
The Hashiras were already moving.
Hashiras Rise
Sanemi, eyes wide and wild, kicked open his door.
Sanemi:"Son of a—! I was just starting to relax!"
Mitsuri, already clutching her whip blade.
Mitsuri:"They're attacking the civilians! Obanai!"
Obanai, mask on, blade ready.
Obanai:"On your six. Let's go."
Giyu stepped silently into the hall, sword already drawn.
Giyu:"Too many… and they're not normal demons."
Gyomei, barefoot, eyes wide with grief.
Gyomei:"Protect the Master… now!"
Muichiro, blade glowing faintly.
Muichiro:"I'll thin the numbers before they reach the inner halls."
From the guest chambers, a loud growl.
Akaza, leaping through a broken window.
Akaza:"Well, this escalated quickly…"
Kokushibo, rising to his full height.
Kokushibo:"They dare…"
He closed his eyes, and when they opened again — six of them stared ahead.His body transformed in a blink — six arms, six blades.
Kokushibo (darkly):"No mercy. None."
Doma, spinning a blood fan with a smirk.
Doma:"You know, they really should've sent an invitation first!"
Muzan Unleashed
From the central chamber, calm footsteps.
Muzan Kibutsuji emerged in full black regalia — face calm, but eyes glowing red.
A Hell Knight lunged at him —giant maul swinging—
But Muzan didn't dodge.
He caught the blow.
With one hand.
Muzan (quietly):"He says I'm fake…"
The knight roared, trying to pull back.
Muzan:"But I was the first. I am the strongest."
He ripped the Hell Knight in half, blood exploding like fireworks.
Muzan (coldly):"Let me show you… what the earth remembers."
The Slayer Appears
From the forge, a massive door slammed open.
Metal clanked.
Boots hit stone.
The Slayer.
Full gear. Visor glowing.
Shotgun in hand. Shield Saw spinning.
He said nothing.
But demons screamed as soon as they saw him.
Protecting Kagaya
Gyomei and Rengoku rushed toward Kagaya's chamber.
Rengoku:"Master! We must move! Now!"
Kagaya:"Take me to the inner shrine. Let the others fight. We must survive tonight."
As they escaped, Gyomei crushed a Hell Knight's head like fruit with his flail.
Hell's Target: Civilians
But the enemy wasn't here just for the fighters.
Inside the halls — civilians screamed.
The noncombatants, the injured, the Kakushi staff — all were prey.
Demons howled as they stormed in, some still feasting on corpses.
Civilians:"Please! NO!"
A mother clutched her daughter.A Kakushi raised a blade—too slow.
Blood sprayed across the floor.
All across the compound—steel and blood collided.
The Slayer fired his shotgun point blank —Hell Knight exploded in half.
Muzan moved like a blur — ripping a Baron apart with tendrils of sharpened flesh.
Kokushibo leapt into the thick — six blades carving through anything in his path.
Sanemi and Giyu fought back to back — wind and water in lethal harmony.
Doma danced through the chaos, laughing.
Doma (cheerfully):"You know, this isn't bad for an after-dinner workout!"
