Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: Qilinger’s Tragic End (Rewritten)

"Circle."

Klein gripped the charm, uttering the Chinese word. Under spiritual stimulus, the ability etched by the High-Dimensional Overseer activated. A solid, illusory circular wall rose, encasing Qilangos. As the charm burned out, Qilangos's body was silently teleported to Adrian's preset location.

With the charm's activation, Klein felt his spirituality drain rapidly, stopping just shy of collapsing his spiritual body. He decisively cut his spiritual transmission, vanishing from Backlund with the gray mist swirling around him.

But before departing, skeletal bones wreathed in black flames clustered around a formally dressed figure, silently appearing before him. Klein couldn't see the figure's face. Smirking, he brushed his spiritual body's Taoist robe, bowing slightly to signal non-hostility, then faded into the Spiritual World's currents.

Several Hounds of Fulgrim leaped, tracking the gray mist's trail, sniffing the ground like dogs. Their deep, eerie eyes fixed on Azik, their forms flickering, merging into the air. They'd sensed the Great Master Above the Gray Fog's aura, but that master hadn't opened the door.

Azik, eyeing the provocateur's exit, looked grim. Grasping at the air, the ground withered, nearby flora instantly decayed.

Yet he gained nothing. Frowning, he shook his head. That aura felt ominous, as if spiritual intuition guided him. Following the hint, he spun, facing behind.

Klein, head throbbing, collapsed with a wry smile—Pretending to be a god is no easy feat!

Leaning against the wall, he slumped at his desk, exhausted. This "field battle" revealed the charm's power—a high-Sequence charm turned a battle two Sequences above him, crushing Qilangos's escape. Alas, Adrian gave him only one…

But he'd crafted a Sunflame Charm using Eternal Blazing Sun's divine blood!

Licking his lips, Klein grew eager for his Sunflame Charm. Enduring the pain of drained spirituality, he cleaned himself briefly and fell into a dream.

Azik watched as Spellsinger of God Ace Snake, flanked by Punishers, arrived with lightning and storms. A monocled Amon, pushing a mail cart, appeared too.

Sensing his fate being tampered with by both groups, Azik grew irritated. Snapping his fingers, skeletal monsters rose, shielding him as he faded. With the situation unclear, he opted to leave, planning to investigate the figure later.

Amon adjusted his monocle, glancing thoughtfully at where Sefirah Castle's aura emerged, chuckling before sauntering off with his cart. Ace Snake, stern, ordered Alger and the Punishers, "Seal the scene!"

Meanwhile, Qilangos faced another encirclement.

Trapped in the eerie gray mist, his alertness peaked. The masked figure's single, cryptic syllable bound and teleported him. The seasoned Qilangos speculated: A high-Sequence Apprentice pathway expert? The Aurora Order's Saint of Secrets? When did I cross them?

In truth, the High-Dimensional Overseer's Sefirot held two symbols: "Dimension," akin to the Door pathway, with unique creativity and similar abilities; and "Overlooking," tied to the Actor pathway. While not directly adjacent to God Almighty's pathways, Actor synergized with White Tower's omniscience and Visionary's mind domain. Its "overlooking" and "peering" symbols linked to the *Wilderness of Knowledge.

The charm restraining Qilangos stemmed from a mid-Sequence Actor ability.

Trapped in the "wall," Qilangos's attacks couldn't breach it. Moments later, the wall crumbled, and he reappeared in reality. But he stayed vigilant, spotting a dozen scarlet eyes in the surrounding darkness!

The instant he materialized, the Aurora Order locked onto him.

"A, leave him to me last," Mr. Z said, smiling chillingly. "I need to shepherd this sinner's soul to cleanse his sins."

"Of course." Mr. A's grin widened, his body swelling into a massive, demonic form, lava-like patterns coursing over him. Mr. Z directed the Aurora Order Beyonders, unleashing "Whispers" and shadow attacks on Qilangos.

If the True Creator's ravings were now a mix of pain and ecstasy for Aurora Order fanatics, His whispers were deadly poison to other pathways' Beyonders. The True Creator never withheld gifts, though pre-awakening, they were perilous.

Post-partial awakening, He ceased transmitting mad ravings, limiting Listeners' access to eerie, potent low-Sequence abilities but boosting survival rates—no more "three years praying, five years dead." With the High-Dimensional Overseer's eager aid, the Aurora Order gained effective ability combos.

Whispers and curses flew; shadow blades and bullets struck Qilangos's position. Some Beyonders' poor aim hit allies, but saturation attacks blanketed the area.

Ordained by the True Creator's oracle, these fanatics executed with 120% zeal. This tactic, devised by a naval marshal in the Old Days, shone in this era.

Only Hanged Man or Red Priest pathway Beyonders could execute this supernatural tactic in this medieval world. The latter's mind-link and the former's "Whisper" mastery allowed precise angle adjustments for full-coverage, efficient attacks. Despite aiming errors, the scattered flesh proved the tactic's superiority.

Qilangos never grasped why a mere Wind-blessed drew two Shepherds and a horde of Secluded Monks, including newly promoted Rose Bishops!

He became shattered flesh in the dirt—barely that, just faint red stains in the soil. The Rose Bishops wasted nothing, preserving his remnants for future battles. His soul, shepherded by Mr. Z, faced eternal torment.

The True Creator's new scripture preached "frugality as virtue," so the faithful complied. Notably, Adrian added this to the scripture.

Adrian's figure appeared, bending to pick up Creeping Hunger. His face was pale, unstable spirituality flickering. Rapid early-Sequence promotions left side effects, but Sequence 6 characteristics couldn't sway an Old One's soul, so his Rose Bishop ascension caused only mild loss of control.

"Back to headquarters. Spellsinger of God is approaching. I'll relay the Lord's oracle there. Conceal your characteristics; I'll take you," Adrian said. As he spoke, an intangible True Creator whisper reached Mr. A and the others' minds. They restrained their spirituality, kneeling, awaiting their favored one's lead back to the church.

Adrian used a Beyonder characteristic his true body sent during his promotion.

Snapping his fingers, spirituality surged, turning Mr. A and the others into a photograph that floated into his hand. The photo's characteristics far exceeded his avatar's, so he gently tucked it away, drew a "Teleportation" charm, and vanished.

Ace Snake roared, nearly hurling lightning at Adrian's fading silhouette.

At his manor, Adrian held the photo, aligning it to release its ability. Space twisted, and Mr. A and the others reappeared.

Their flesh writhed, reverting to their true forms. Landing, Mr. A praised, "Worthy of Your Excellency the Favored!

Congratulations on becoming Sequence 6! Praise the Lord, praise the Lord!"

Classic Aurora Order tradition.

"You performed well today," Adrian said, ignoring Mr. A's fervor. "I've received the Lord's oracle to distribute rewards. Come."

He turned toward an empty manor room. The cash-strapped Aurora Order, prioritizing "practicality and resource-saving," skipped a meeting room, repurposing a classroom for nighttime worker-believer lessons. The Beyonders sat obediently, like well-mannered children.

Though used by minimally educated workers, the classroom—maintained by devout True Creator followers—was spotless, desks free of graffiti.

Lacking education, these believers knew who truly cared. The Aurora Order, welcoming and fair, outshone orthodox churches preaching love but ignoring their lives. When Mr. A's commerce guild formed, opportunists tried profiting, but none succeeded—preaching mercy to the Aurora Order was a death wish.

The guild's greatest comfort was providing livable jobs and prioritizing relief quotas. Despite labor-income disparities, a minor illness wouldn't ruin them entirely.

For those losing work capacity, a relief sum based on service was all they got. In an era where lives were worth less than a noble's dog, this was precious.

Once all were seated, Adrian spoke slowly, "Mr. A, your reward first."

Mr. A's demeanor shifted, turning serious. Though proud of his performance, collaborating with Mr. Z unnerved him, as the favored one had initially pitted them against each other.

Author's Note:

No-Prize Quiz:

The Actor pathway's Sequence 5 is Wall of Lament. Guess its abilities and why it has such an odd name.

Hint: Like the Scholar pathway, Actor is heavily corrupted, but while Scholar's corruption is limited to Sequence 9, Actor's entire Sequence is saturated with the High-Dimensional Overseer's [actively released] corruption.

Translator's Note: Answer this guys I barely understand the story due to some complexities all I know is that he is outer god he has lot of personalities (Adians) one of his personalities is in the Earth, he was with True God or his part of personality is with true god (not sure) he was collaborating with Evernight and True God to seal God Almighty and Celestial Worthy's coffin.

Translator's Note: (Future) Actually after reading again I now grasp what the story about and even grasp how the author tell his story. Though I wouln't delete that comment (above) of mine to show that even though I don't know anything I would still strive and continue forward not caring what's happening in the world. LOL.
