Chapter 6 - Clash of Crimson Kings

The sky above the Ice Continent was thick with snow clouds, but no storm dared form. The air was frigid, the kind of cold that could freeze even the thoughts inside your head. Below, everything shimmered in pale white and piercing blue—endless glaciers, frostbitten peaks, and long-forgotten battle scars carved into the land.

In the center of it all stood a towering castle of pure obsidian ice: Guy Crimson's domain. The dark spires reached high into the clouds, defying the cold as if daring the heavens to strike it down. From the balcony of the highest tower, the strongest Demon Lord sat, legs crossed, wine in hand, and expression unreadable.

Velzard sat beside him, quieter than usual. Her pride still stung.

Guy Crimson had seen and done many things. Fought gods, broken legends, and reshaped history. But this… this man named Yujiro Hanma—who defeated Velzard using only raw power—had him genuinely intrigued.

"No magic," Guy murmured to himself, swirling his wine. "No skills. Just strength…"

Before he could dive deeper into thought, a pulse of energy snapped his attention to the sky.

Velzard flinched. Her posture stiffened. She felt it too.

Veldora.

And if Veldora was coming here of his own free will, flying directly toward the heart of Guy's territory… then that could only mean one thing.

"He's here," Velzard whispered, her breath visible in the cold air.

Guy set down his glass, lips curling into a wicked grin. "It seems I won't have to wait much longer after all."

From the clouds above, the mighty dragon Veldora broke through with a roar, wings flapping with authority. But it wasn't Veldora who caught Guy's eye.

It was the man standing on his back.

As Veldora hovered just outside the castle balcony, Hujiro Hanma leapt off with casual grace and landed with a thud that shook the balcony floor.

Guy stood slowly, crimson eyes locking with Hujiro's sharp, unyielding gaze.

"You're bold," Guy said, his voice calm but laced with power. "To come here uninvited."

Yujiro didn't blink. Hands still buried in his pockets, he stepped forward. "And you're bold not to kneel."

Guy blinked once. Then smirked.

Velzard's head turned away. She still couldn't look directly at Hujiro—not because of shame, but something deeper. A fear she never thought she could feel again.

Yujiro was tall—taller than Guy, broader too. Crimson hair swayed lightly in the cold breeze, and his eyes burned with a confidence so deep it bordered on madness. Yet… there was no energy. No magic. No divine aura. Nothing. Just... presence.

At that moment, Rain and Misery burst through the icy doors behind Guy, ready for battle.

"Lord Guy! We felt Veldora's—"

"Stand down," Guy said with a raised hand.

The two attendants paused, startled. But they obeyed, stepping back with uneasy glances at Hujiro.

Guy stepped forward, now face-to-face with the man who had shaken Velzard and dared challenge him in his own home.

"So you're the one who humbled the White Ice Dragon with bare hands?" Guy asked, curious now more than annoyed. "Color me impressed."

Yujiro gave Velzard a side glance. She still sat silently.

"She was just a warm-up," Yujiro said, his voice calm and low. "I'm here for the main course."

Guy chuckled, but his eyes were sharp. "You talk like you've already won."

"I don't talk." Yujiro smiled. "I declare."

That was when Guy truly saw it. No fear. Not a flicker of doubt. This man… didn't see Guy as an obstacle. He saw him as a target.

"Alright then," Guy said, stretching his neck. "Let's take this outside. I'd rather not destroy my castle."

Hujiro smirked. "This castle will soon be mine anyway."

That actually made Guy laugh. A real laugh.

"Then let's see if you can take it from me."

Without another word, Guy took to the sky, a trail of red and black energy behind him. Yujiro followed silently, flying just as effortlessly. Yujiro was also gifted flight by Veldanava when he gave him the Primordial of Dominance.

Veldora flapped after them, now more excited than nervous. Rain and Misery exchanged glances and followed too, while Velzard hesitated… then silently took off.

She had to see this through.

They arrived at a wide plateau, untouched by civilization. A barren field of ice and stone that stretched endlessly beneath the pale sky. No one lived here—nothing could. It was a graveyard for titans, a place where power had once danced and now lay dormant.

Guy hovered above the ground and turned. "This should do."

Yujiro landed, feet sinking slightly into the frost. Still, his hands stayed in his pockets. That smirk hadn't left his face once.

Guy touched down across from him, about ten meters apart.

A silence fell.

Then Guy's voice cut through it. "Ready?"

There was no answer. Only that smirk.

BOOM!

In the blink of an eye, Guy vanished.

The snow exploded, the wind howled, and the air cracked like lightning.

He reappeared behind Yujiro mid-punch, a red comet of destruction aimed for Yujiro's neck.

But just before the blow connected—

Yujiro's hand shot up.

CLANG!

Fingers caught Guy's fist like a bear trap. The impact rippled through the air, shattering the ice beneath them, yet Yujiro didn't budge. He caught it without looking.

Guy's eyes widened for the first time.

"You're fast," Yujiro said, slowly turning his head.

"But I'm still faster."

Then he squeezed.

Guy felt pressure—real pressure—crushing his knuckles.

And he smiled.

"Finally," he whispered.

Then he vanished again.

This time, the real fight had begun.

The sky above the Ice Continent trembled—not from magic, but from something far older. Raw strength. It pulsed through the air like a storm of titans clashing, shaking the earth with every movement.

On the barren plateau, two crimson-haired giants stood across from each other: Guy Crimson, the Strongest demon lord, and Yujiro Hanma, the man who silenced gods with his fists.

No magic. No skills. Only martial arts and raw physical power.

The way of warriors.

BOOM!

Guy struck again, a spinning heel kick with enough force to turn mountains into sand. Hujiro ducked under it, his right arm rising to parry a follow-up elbow aimed at his temple.

CLACK!

The impact echoed like steel against steel.

Hujiro grinned, twisting his hips as he delivered a brutal uppercut toward Guy's ribs.

WHOOSH!

Guy slid back an inch, absorbing the hit with crossed arms before retaliating with a knee to Hujiro's gut.

CRACK!

Hujiro's feet lifted slightly from the ground.

"Not bad," Yujiro coughed, wiping a bit of spit off his lip. "You fight like a god who's been in too many street brawls."

Guy smirked. "I've had ten thousand years to perfect this form."

He vanished again.

Flash-step. Backfist. Elbow. Sweep.

The tempo increased—Guy was moving faster, blending traditional martial arts with unpredictable demon-style strikes. His attacks were sharp, efficient, brutal. Every movement was precise, refined.

Hujiro spun mid-air, avoiding a rising knee and countered with a devastating hammer fist. Guy blocked with a forearm, but the shockwave split the ice behind him.

"You're holding back," Yujiro said, eyes gleaming.

"So are you," Guy replied, breathing evenly. "Let's dance."

From a distance, Rain and Misery hovered in midair, watching the fight unfold.

Rain's jaw dropped. "They're not even using magic, Misery. Just… their bodies."

Misery's eyes narrowed. "I've never seen Lord Guy move like this. He's serious."

Rain flinched as Guy and Yujiro collided mid-air again, fists clashing, shockwaves blasting outward like thunder claps. The ice field cracked in every direction like a spiderweb.

"Who is this Yujiro guy?" Rain asked, eyes darting. "He's matching Lord Guy."

Velzard stood silent, arms crossed tightly over her chest. She refused to speak, but her thoughts raced.

I hit him with everything. My freezing touch. My divine breath. My rage… and nothing worked.

She watched Yujiro pivot gracefully around a roundhouse kick from Guy, catch Guy's leg mid-spin, and toss him into a glacier with sheer force.

Not even Guy can read his movements completely. This man… isn't normal.

CRASH!

Guy burst out of the glacier moments later, a smirk forming on his lips, ice dust falling off his shoulders.

"Throwing me like that?" he said. "You're the first in centuries to pull that off."

Yujiro cracked his knuckles. "Your footwork's good. You hide your attacks with your stance, like a snake waiting to strike."

Guy nodded, stepping forward again. "Then show me your fangs, monster."

They dashed toward each other.

A Flurry of Blows.

Guy delivered a perfect one-inch punch to Hujiro's sternum. Yujiro stepped into it, allowing the force to pass through his body before answering with a palm thrust that pushed Guy back.

Guy flipped mid-air, landed on one hand, and launched a whip-kick upward. Yujiro leaned back—Matrix-style—and answered with a straight right that missed Guy's nose by inches.

Their movements were flawless, godlike.

Each strike created ripples in space. Their footwork carved trenches into the frost.

"Veldora, are you seeing this!?" Rain yelled, barely containing her excitement.

Veldora, arms crossed and grinning like a kid at a candy shop, chuckled.

"This is peak combat, Rain. No frills. No cheats. Just willpower and fists! Hahaha! I love this guy! GO HUJIRO!"

Misery frowned. "Shouldn't you be… supporting Lord Guy?"

Veldora laughed louder. "I'll cheer for whoever punches harder!"

Back on the field, Guy and Hujiro were panting now—not from exhaustion, but excitement.

"Your style," Yujiro said, sidestepping a jab. "It's a mix. Demon King's Fang and something… more grounded. Monastic?"

Guy narrowed his eyes. "You recognize my hybrid style? Not bad."

He threw a hook. Yujiro caught it with his shoulder and retaliated with a shoulder tackle, sending Guy skidding backward.

"You've trained seriously," Yujiro said, nodding with respect.

Guy chuckled. "So have you.

Then, suddenly, they both stopped.

Snow drifted quietly between them.

They stood still, breathing softly, fists ready.

A silent acknowledgment passed between them.

Respect.

Not as Demon Lord and intruder.

But as warriors.

Guy finally spoke. "It's been a long time since I fought someone like you. Let's stop holding back."

Yujiro nodded. "Agreed."

The temperature dropped.

Their eyes locked.

The next exchange wouldn't be a test.

It would be real.
