Chapter 1 - Local Thief Time Travels?

"All my life, I've always been the one doing the All-out Attacks, but never the one receiving the same treatment. I'm not sure what to think of this, should I be angry? Humiliated? Happy? My mind is conflicted, but my body is trembling in excitement. But perhaps that's just my masochism speaking." A teenager buried in a pile of Valentine's Chocolate spoke, his face bore the mark of multiple hands, all of which came from women.

"The mighty leader of the Phantom Thieves, the one and only Joker, savior of the world, has been defeated, and beaten black and blue by the women he himself seduced. What a sight to see." Another teenager, wearing a clean trench coat sipped his coffee, his voice laced with clear mockery.

"Shut up, unwanted child." Ren Amamiya stood up from the ground and patted his clothes clean, he limped his way towards a seat across Akechi, who now carried a scowl in response to his offensive words.

"Looking good, Joker." A cat that was sitting on the table snickered, his words and laughter masked by meows to the normal folk.

"It was inevitable. I didn't have the heart to reject their confessions, is being kind such a crime nowadays?" Ren shook his head as he took out his phone that had just rung.

Ryuji sent him a message.

[Ryuji: Yo, you think the chocolate my mom gave me counts??]

A tick formed on Ren's head.

A bell rung as the doors of Cafe Leblanc opened, and in entered Sojiro, the owner of the Cafe and current legal guardian of Ren.

The man sighed as he put a hand on Ren's shoulders.

"Hoo boy.. I don't know how you did it but you managed to piss off a group of ten women... But knowing you, you're definitely the type of guy to do this. Gosh darn madlad."

"And do you know how hard it was to defend you against a mob of angry women. And don't get me started on how you made FUTABA cry. You brat, if I could I would strangle you right now." Ren could do as much as scratch as his head as an apologetic smile formed on his face.

"Sorry..." Sojiro grunted as he made his way to the counter after dropping off a small piece of chocolate.

"By the way... How did you manage to convince all of them? I would think it was impossible to even attempt it. Sojiro... Are you perhaps a Phantom Thief? Did you change their hearts? Or do you have the same power as Maruki? Are you a God in disguise? No wait this isn't Catherine. It can't be possible... Or is it?" Ren drifted apart to his charade of overthinking.

"Now what nonsense is he speaking right now?" Sojiro looked at the teen, pure confusion plastered on his face.

"I think that's just how he normally is..." Akechi spoke.

"Anyway!" Ren broke away from his stupor, regaining clarity.

"What are you even doing here Akechi?" Ren asked his Friend/Rival/Enemy/BestFriend.

"What? Can't an ace detective crave some exquisite coffee anymore? Sakura-san's coffee is nothing short of a work of art... Plus I like the atmosphere..." The last part Ren didn't quite catch but he ignored it.

"By the way, I heard you'll moving in less than a month. You won't even be able to stay until white day." Akechi looked him in the eye as he changed the subject.

"Hm, yeah. Family wants me back, though I have no doubt I'll be labeled as a criminal there, I still have to." Ren calmly spoke.

"You know, nobodies forcing you to go back. Just say the word and I'll let you stay and work here until you can graduate." Sojiro added into the conversation.

"Thanks for the offer coffee dad, but circumstances and all that. You truly hate to see it." Ren shrugged, the memory of the day after he and the team defeated Maruki resurfaced.

After getting rescued by Morgana, time froze for everything except himself.

A ray of light descended into the world as a giant ball of light that reminded him of the flowers he collected for Jóse formed and spoke to him.

"Change da world, my final message, good bye." The giant sphere of light, or what Ren liked to it Literal God disappeared as quickly as it appeared.

From what Ren could understand he had just been tasked with a mission by Literal God, this was the first time this had happened to him.

Ever as he reincarnated into the universe of Persona, he hadn't received anything like a mission, a task, a parasitic system or anything like that.

He merely lived life as if he was Joker.

He was thrown into this world randomly after he had just bawled his eyes out completing the game for the very first time.

No training wheels aside from his knowledge of the game, no actual experience in combat, but he managed to pull through with sheer effort.

If that wasn't a great start to a story then he didn't know what was.

But enough of that, he had received a strange app on his phone that had a timer for one month, which he assumed was when the mission started.

Or worse, when it ended.

He opened up one of the boxes he had "graciously" received from the women he had romanced and ate a piece of chocolate.

"It truly was a hectic year huh.." Ren recalled all the memories he had experienced in this world, his time as a Phantom Thief, a student that only had straight A's, a multi-millionaire thanks to Mementos and the numerous (2) times he had saved the world and defeated what could be called 'Gods' in this world.

"Indeed, hectic but enjoyable wouldn't you say?" Akechi replied with a smile, with a nod of approval from Morgana.

"Truly was." A slight smile could be seen on Ren, a rare sight for most of the phantom thieves.

Ren, Akechi, and Morgana spent the day chatting and hanging out, strengthening their already strong bond.

Thus the end of February 15th.

Ren checked the app that was anonymously installed on his phone, as days quickly turned hours, hours into minutes, and to now barely 50 seconds to prepare.

He had said all the goodbyes he needed to say, spent all the remaining time with his people, and all he could say was that he was really was content with the life he had lived here.

For him, it really was a shame he had to leave this behind to complete a random god's quest.

But alas, a Phantom Thief's work was never done.

The final five seconds ticked, he closed his eyes and took a deep breath, as the clock hit Zero, a sound reminiscent to a church bell rang out as time had once again frozen.

Ren opened his eyes to the sight of the world shifting before his very eyes, he lost his footing as he stayed suspended in the air, he thought that perhaps this was what it felt to travel through a worm hole.

The very fabric of space was manipulated in a way to ensure him safe travels, as he was nearly blinded by the kaleidoscopic show of light happening around him.

He was briefly startled as his attire started changing, bringing back his iconic Phantom Thief costume.

But that wasn't the only thing that had returned as he felt the connection to his compendium of Persona's return. His Spirit of Rebellion had once again been ignited.

As he saw what he presumed to be the end of the path, light once again converged as he was momentarily blinded by the light.

Once he regained his sight, he opened his eyes to find himself standing on solid footing once again.

He examined the floor tiles, the floor was patterned with a simple repetitive black and white tile design. Just by the design of the floor, and the surroundings that resembled a clockwork amalgamation.

As well as the smiling figure that was across the room wearing a uniform he was very much familiar with.

He knew where he was.

"My, aren't you a new face?" As the figures feminine voice reached his ears, he could only form a stiff smile.

"You aren't exactly supposed to here, correct?" The woman clad in blue summoned a book.

The stiff smile disappeared from Ren's face as a smirk replaced it. His hand slowly made it's way to his face, as his hand grasped the Tricksters Mask.

"It's been a while... But let's do this."

" Persona... "

A flash of blue erupted from Ren Amamiya's body, enveloping him in fiery flames as he once again harnessed the power of a Persona. Behind him materialized a six-winged monstrosity, its form radiating pure Might, reminiscent of a fully manifested Demon Lord. This was [Satanael], the Ultimate Persona of the Fool Arcana, appearing in all its majesty.

"Oh my." The woman gasped in reverence, the might that struck fear, and the majesty that the persona summoned by this strange individual struck a chord that made her admire it unintentionally.

"Pillage her...Satanael!"

A/N: I had just finished my playthrough of Persona 5 Royal, so my hands took over me. I KNEW I just had to create a fanfic about this, and y'all know how it is.

Anyway, some of you guys might complain, saying "Oh, author what about your other works? Did you drop them?" Or "Will you drop this too?"

And while I can't make promises, I'll ensure that I will exercise my utmost best, into writing this fanfic. While I still can, and while I still have the time, I'll pour most of my hours into crafting, and cooking meals that me myself, and the rest of you can be satisfied with.

So I'm sorry for those who want to see the rest of my other fanfics, but it'll have to wait. My priorities, are currently with this fanfic.
