Chapter 10 - A Daring Adventure into My Girlfriend's Sanctuary!

Sheila's father had settled into a deep sleep, the kind that comes after a long day, but it was abruptly shattered by a piercing wail emanating from the guest room. Instinct kicked in, and he felt a surge of concern. What on earth could have happened? Grabbing a metallic rod for protection, he dashed towards the source of the commotion, every ounce of his military training flooding back to him.

The old man had known his wife long enough to recognize her dramatic flair, especially when provoked. But he couldn't fathom what could possibly have offended her to such a degree. He patted his pockets, ensuring his phone was in hand—an earlier incident replayed in his mind, the moment his wife had nearly exploded upon discovering a romantic message from someone mysteriously labeled 'Love.'

Panic surged through him. A stranger in their home? But the real shock? This stranger was lying beside their daughter, Sheila. Fueled by a mix of anger and protectiveness, he rushed to confront the intruder. Meanwhile, John, still groggy from sleep, was jolted awake, completely unaware that Sheila's parents had barged in. The sudden ruckus drew him back to reality, but it took a moment for him to process the chaos unfolding around him.

The sight before them was unmistakable. Their daughter's choice of sleeping attire told a scandalous story, one that was hard to swallow. How could Sheila have the audacity to invite her boyfriend into their home? They had always seen her as the perfect daughter, so well-behaved. Now, doubt crept into their minds—had Sheila been keeping secrets all along? A wave of confusion and betrayal washed over them as they faced this unexpected revelation.

The two men struggled as the two ladies watched. The old man still had some strength to fight. It was a matter of life and death. Sheila's father kicked John, forcefully pushing him to the extent that he fell down like a fully occupied sack. Sheila really sympathized with her boyfriend. She wished to help her boyfriend, but had no ability. How could she fight her parents in an attempt to safeguard her boyfriend?

Sheila's mother rushed and brought the rope. They jointly cooperated as they tied him up. The couple dragged him to the floor, leading him out of the house. He was tied up in a huge tree outside. To the outside, they had tied him to a huge tree out there. The crowd had already gathered at the place and was staring at him, making fun of him. Sheila was not left behind. She was slapped and forced to kneel down beside her boyfriend.

They spent the whole night in the cold outside, feeling embarrassed. The crowd gathered to witness what had happened. Sheila's father had acted in an awkward manner that surprised everyone. It was like a cinema, people gathered to follow. The news had spread so fast in that area, and people were flocking in to witness.

The day was approaching, as evidenced by the melodious singing of the birds. John was helpless, having no other option but to remain there. He was wearing only shorts, and his girlfriend was in a nightdress. What a misfortune that befell him. He had to regret having come for a sleepover. But what he feared most was for it to trend beyond borders. Being a high-ranking officer in the military office, he was very sure that his reputation would be negatively affected.

John's heart raced as he spotted a swarm of news reporters descending upon his location. The scene was like a nightmare come to life, and he felt an overwhelming urge to vanish into the ground. Being thrust into the headlines was the last thing he wanted, and the thought of being featured negatively sent a chill of dread through him.

Meanwhile, Sheila was in a state of panic. The mere sight of the reporters sent her into a frenzy. Desperate to escape the impending spotlight, she dashed away, searching for a refuge from the cameras and their relentless lenses. Her only safe haven was the bathroom, where she locked the door behind her, her mind racing with fear. Sheila's mother, determined to teach her a lesson, knocked insistently, but her efforts were in vain — Sheila had vanished into her own world of anxiety.

Outside, the news crew buzzed with excitement, eager to capture what they hoped would be a sensational story. In the chaos, Sheila's father became increasingly agitated, taking his frustrations out on John, who barely held up under the escalating pressure. The crowd, emboldened by the unfolding drama, cheered him on, thirsting for a spectacle. As the crew asked for eyewitness accounts, the victim, seemingly lost and pleading for mercy, stood in stark contrast to the raucous scene around him.

Everything spiraled out of control when John learned they were broadcasting live. Fear gripped him; millions were watching, amplifying his anxiety to unbearable levels. He felt as though he was trapped in a psychological torment. As the police were summoned to the scene, tension escalated. When the officers arrived in their Land Cruiser, they were shocked to discover that the victim was a high-ranking military officer. Their hands were tied; they could do nothing but release him from his bonds.

Just then, the intelligence services swooped in, swiftly rescuing their own and turning the situation into a national security incident. The chaos escalated as military personnel moved in to disperse the onlookers, using force to restore order. In the pandemonium, Sheila's parents were arrested, leaving the scene in a haze of confusion and uncertainty.

At home, the atmosphere was thick with betrayal. Soraya sat in the guest room, her eyes fixed on the television as news of her husband's disgraceful predicament played out before her. Red-eyed and heartbroken, tears streamed down her cheeks like a torrential downpour; doubt washed over her, and she wrestled with the harsh reality of their marriage. When John entered and dared to greet her, silence hung heavy in the air. A heavy weight of guilt settled over him as he retreated to the bedroom, where he spent the day in isolation, grappling with the consequence

uences of his actions.
