Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: The damned one

"Are you really going to use it?" Asked Zerathos, he knew of this artifact.

"We'll need it if we want to defeat" The treasure that Astaroth took out was, the weapon of Noxis, the last god of the Umbraen. As a weapon used by a god this artifact still contain his divine essence , if it is used to stab a mortal, it would cause their body to collapse on it's own, but using it also has its own prerequisite, and it will cause the wielder to be temporarily weaken, and drained of energy. But it can be mitigated by the number of wielder.

Initially, Astaroth didn't want to use it as he would be the core wielder of it, as a prerequisite for the weapon to be used. So by using it he would be more weaken than the other after each use. But it was worth it if they can kill this monster.

The kings instantly stopped their attack on Belzebuth, who didn't chase after them, he just continued to search frantically. He won't stop until he saw them, dead or alive.

Seeing that Belzebuth doesn't seem to care about them, Astaroth quickly manipulated the artifact, it was in the form of a spear, dark as night, if one look too long at it, their consciousness would be sucked by the spear. The other kings' quicly averted their gaze toward Astaroth, whose face was deathly pale as the spear took energy from him, and they began channeling their energy toward him, his face eased a little at that. Their energy were syphoned by the artifact very quicly,as they were wondering if their energy reserve were going to be enough, Astaroth made his move, he launched the artifact at Belzebuth.

As Belzebuth was still frantically searching for his friends, he sensed a monstrously terrifying presence locked onto him. He looked up sharply, he wanted to teleport like earlier, but doesn't seem to be able to! The scene seemed to freeze for a moment, the weapon made contact with his chest, and as if piercing through nothing at all, it reappeared behind him, unobstructed. And at his chest area, there now is a gaping hole right where his heart was.

But then something strange happened, despite losing his heart, Belzebuth, he just stayed static some second as if his body was processing what happened to it, he also vomited blood and some blood also leaked out of his body through the hole, but after these second, his bleeding stopped as if it never happened, only the hole in his chest is there as witness that a weapon had passed through him. The kings were dumbfounded seeing this, they never thought that someone or something can still stand even after getting their heart taken out and destroyed. It was Belzebuth's latent ability, time control, since he can't reverse time yet, he just stopped the time within his being. This is a reflex of his body to avoid death. But, as it is said there is no free meal in the world, despite it being seemingly flawless, the body will still decay slowly, which means that the time hadn't really stopped but had been slowed down to the extreme, of a ratio of 1:10000 second, giving Belzebuth approximately 30 years to live if he can't maintain his body's freshness and not decaying, after this delay, his body will start decomposing. But he isn't in a state to think of anything, despite not dying, having his chest being pierced through and his heart destroyed still caused an incommensurable pain that death seems to be a peace if attained.

"RRROOOAAAAAARRRRR" Belzebuth's roar of agony sounds trough the field. But despite being of agony it still contained an immense amount of anger and confusion, anger toward the being in front of him and these soliders who were slaughtering his clansmen, and confusion as to why they did this, and why is he still alive despite losing his heart.

"What is this monster!?" Screamed the kings. It was a known fact that anything that lose its heart will die the very next moment, but here this monster is still standing, just losing a little bit of his blood, nothing much, even the expected body collapse that is done by the artifact doesn't seem to be working. They can't make any sense to it.

"W-what are we going to do now?" Stuttered Kragmor, king of Terranos

"I think we can try something." Said Thalmaris Cyanthus, the king of the Cyanthus.

"What is it?" They ask simultaneously.

"Since he can't die, why not seal him away? We have a sealing technic that is said to have been created to seal god, but it is incomplete, so it will be a risky gamble, either it works and we are safe, or it doesn't work and we will be annihilated here." Thalmaris said somberly.

"So, be it, how does it work? What do you need?" Ask Astaroth. And the other also nodded.

"It isn't very difficult, I already have the material needed, I just need the elder of our clan, and you have to immobilize this monster for a few seconds, it will be better if you can stay at least two meters away from him the moment I cast the spell, so as to not be implicated with the spell."

"It shouldn't be too hard then." The other kings nodded and began to work. This time they didn't approach the monster too close, and waited for a signal to restrain the monster.

Noticing an enormous amount of energy being used, Belzebuth was going to attack but was intercepted by the king preventing him to get close to Thalmaris Cyanthus and the elders of the Cyanthus. They continued like this during some more minutes when Thalmaris Cyanthus suddenly screamed.

"NOW!!!??"

The kings hearing this backed off to the side and, they began creating a net of energy that envelopes Belzebuth's entire body, it nailed him in the ground. It could be seen that it won't last long and just for a few seconds but it was the necessary time for the seal to take effect. And at the exact moment the net has taken place on Belzebuth, Thalmaris Cyanthus and the elders casted the seal. And Thalmaris Cyanthus didn't disappoint them, just before the net give in to Belzebuth's might, the seal was successfully casted and the figure of Belzebuth standing within a thick layer of extremely sturdy ice. The other king sensed that if some weaker people were to touch this layer, they would be frozen to death within a quarter of a second, even they still felt threatened just one meter around it.

"This seal should be able to kill it right?" Asked Volcanism Flarion, still fearing the monster would still break out of the seal.

"Don't jinx it!?" All the kings screamed at the same time,

However, just as they finished speaking a tiny crack suddenly appeared. The kings looked at Volcanis as if he is the great devil. Fortunately, the crack expanded very slowly, at this pace it will take at least a year to break. But still it was still cracking! They began to truly panic now, if even this seal can't seal this monster they are all doomed. Then as if to save the day, Helioris has a bright idea.

"Guys, why don't we just reinforce the seal with another?"

Hearing this, the other kings looked at Thalmaris if that's feasible, after all he knows better than them.

Thalmaris pondered for a moment before nodding slowly.

"That should settle the matter in the short time, but we still need to search how to get rid of it, if something goes wrong, we're finished. And also casting this seal is costing in energy, we can only cast it in around a month from now. It surprises me that this monster can still crack the seal, it is supposed to be able to seal even the space."

What no one didn't know was that when Belzebuth was fighting earlier, there was a dense aura of life force emanating from him, due to the soul that his soul is purging, it covered the entirety of Genesis, and sipping into every life form expanding their life span by many folds but no one noticed it.
