In brightly lighted hall with walls made of white polished quartz adorned with various painting representing various charachters and landscapes, torch burning brightly, aligned at perfect distances from each other attached to the wall, light and heavy footsteps echoed.
On the red carpet decorated with gold lines forming regular patterns, a man and a woman walked in the long hall, looking straight ahead, without words.
The man had dark skin, short dark blue hair and deep serious red eyes. He was wearing a dark blue outfit covering his body from shoulder to knees with glowing white stripes forming into a collar. His hands with black gloves clenched as if grabbing something, his white shoes stepping furiously as he walked.
The woman, had smooth skin with pink hair forming two buns on the side and light blue eyes giving a hint of worry. She was sporting a white shirt with a purple ribbon and long purple skirt reaching down to her knees, a pair of pink gloves and white long shoes. Behind her back sprout two pairs of wings glowing a light purple hue and on her head stood a glowing halo of light.
They continued, side by side, to walked in the bright and glamorous hall, the woman taking glances regularly at the man, who was looking ahead with determination, at the end of the long hall who could start to be perceived, a light blue glow emmiting from the opening far away.
The angel girl resolved herself and cleanse her anxiousness before talking, looking the man straight in his sligthly unfocused eyes.
"Adam. Are your sure about this ?"
"Huh ?"
The man, Adam, seemed startled for a fraction of second before looking back at the pink haired girl, his expression shifting from being serious, to surprised and finally worried, with a hint of sadness and sorrow forming a complex expression.
"I don't know Eve. I'm sure Father has a reason in mind."
As those word were said, the girl's face shifted, sharing the sorrow with Adam. She turned her face to look down before responding
"Still, it's only been 1 day, i'm worried your mental health."
Adam put his hand on the glooming Eve's shoulder.
"Maybe its related to the Abyss and we don't have much time. I know not everybody will be okay with it. We need to start when we have the resolve to do it. They will convince me if we wait for to long."
Adam waited for Eve to look back at him before making an obviously forced smile.
"No I'm not fine, but you know I feel better when I do my duty. Let's start."
They were reaching the end of the corridor. The blue light of the next room glowing brigther the more they approached it.
Before entering, Eve turned her head back to look forward after wiping a little tears that started to flow, her eyes sligthly unfocused, she also forced a smile."
"Yeah. Let's do it. We need to trust father one more time."
They both stepped into the next room, a 'thud' sound resonating from the black metallic floor, the walls made of the same material standing at a seemingly infinite height, the ceilling invisible, covered by a black darkness.
In the center of the room stood a light grey metal disk, floating at about chest height.
Above it stood multiple light blue glowing orbs, their number so high it couldn't be counted, thousand, maybe million, perhaps billion or even more than that.
They floated, immobile, as if frozen in time, extending to the entire height of the seemingly infinite room. Inside each orbs could be seen different scenes, always transforming into others, everchanging.
Scenes of clusters of stars and planets roaming the evergrowing cosmos. Scenes of natural landscapes spanning one's entire view, creatures walking and exploring its vastness. Scenes of intelligent life talking to each other in a peacefull city, battling each other in bloody war and battles, provinding each other with help in different ways, participating in festivals and other cultural events.
Those various scenes intertwined with each other, showcased on those glowing orbs were the various different universes composing the world. Each orbs, a different universe spanning an infinite distance, with countless forms of life and folklore.
The Akhashic record was the place were every universe could be connected, where one could see what was happening in any universe of his choice. He could command the grey disk for access to the universe of his choice and the scenery of his choice.
Adam silently approached the grey disk, a dark screen appeared ingraved inside of it. Eve at his side, looked at it without a word.
He touch the screen who lighted up and pressed on various buttons that kept changing.
The orbs above the disk started to experience some changes. The scenes depicted in each of them became blurry until all of them shown the same things, a disk of billion of blue, sligthly purple, little dots addorning a pitch black background. This was the entire universe.
Every orbs showcased the entire universe who it belonged to.
Adam kept pressing button, until the orbs formed a wall with each of them being an equal distance from the others.
He turned to look at Eve and nodded, informing her that the preparation were finished. He kept touching the screen until a part of the metal disk oppened up and a golden square appeared inside the newly made hole.
Meanwhile, Eve walked away from the disk and Adam, before turning back to face both of them, she put her hand into her purple ribbon and pulled out a tiny green pin.
She flicked it into the hair and it glowed for a fraction of second before being covered by bright light.
The light extended quickly, forming the shape of a mike, before extinguishing itself, revealing a grey mike, in the blink of an eye.
Adam turned back and approached Eve with golden cube in hand. He put it in contact of the mike and it sinked into it with no resistance, as if the cube had no physical form even though Adam was holding it.
Both Adam and Eve looked the other into eyes before Adam spoke.
"You can start. You're better at this than me. Don't stress you're gonna do fine"
Eve nodded.
"Okay !"
She pressed a button on the side of the mike, activating it before talking.
"After 1 million years of his life. 815,657 years after his first creation. God, father of all that is, has died !"
Eve's voice resonated in the mostly empty room, the mike not amplifying her voice at all.
At the same time, in a city with rows after rows of white skyscrapers and other buildings coated in bright and neon colored light, her words could be heared. People walking the roads and working in the building jumped or shuddered in surprise before looking up at the sky.
"Under his will, he requested the hosting of a tournament."
In a flying airship with different kind of mechanical structures and robot operating on it, the same reaction could be observed.
"As some of you may know, God has created multiple universes with various type of life populating them."
Every living being populating a little camp in a desert of scorching red sands started whispering to each other.
"This tournament will put face to face the strongest of all the universes to determine who is the strongest."
Little orbs of light if various colors with flat circle as eyes all rushed toward the same location in a jungle composed of tall oddly colored trees, some glowing with a mysterioys energy.
"16 contestants will be able to compete in this divine confrontation"
Beneath the darkness of a cave, some tribes wearing collars of teeth and bones stopped their ritualistic dance to listen to this divine envoy
"For one week we will take the suggestions of every volunteer and make the choice for who will get to participate in the final battle."
The previous metal clanking noise resonating inside a forge composed of Amethyst crystals all stopped leasdng to a deathly silence safe for the blue fire still burning bright.
"All battles will be broadcasted to every universes at the same time, no matter where or who you are."
Negociations happening besides a long table inside a deathly pale stone room stopped before everybody present swiftly leaved, the mist in the distance becoming thicker.
"Whether it is strength or intelligence, talent or hard work, magic or power, you will get to put it all on the line !"
Two fronts of a battlefield did not slowed down, despite the voice that resonated in the head of every soldier, not letting the opposite side gain the advantage.
"You will get to witness the most wonderful and beautifull display of strength and passion."
Various monster roaming an deep abyss stuttered before going back to their nest, the request of their king having been suppressed
"The most dedicated people existing collaborating to provide to you a spectacle."
In a little house made of wood and stone, far away from the nearest village, the sound of swings briefly broke their rythm before going back to it.
"This tournament could very well shape your entire future !"
A platoon of soldier armed with various weapons and armor of everchanging color got distracted for a moment before continuing their mission with dedication.
"This tournament will determine the future of every universes !"
At the highest point of a tall orange and bronze coated palace, a star shined brighter than ever before.
"For the victor of this tournament will be rewarded with..."
In front of a deep black and purple ominous portal, call and orders resonated, not bothered by the uniques annoncement, as if it was a usual occurence for them.
"The now vacant throne of God !"
From deep inside a forest coated with thousand of neatly sculpted graves, a soft chuckle could be heard
"The authority to command and order all legions of angel, and to gift blessing upon the lands will be yours. As well as..."
In a city of medium wealth, with houses no taller than 2 human, the sound of a bomb resonated in the distance and screams ensued.
Before uttering the final sentence, the voice of Eve grew somber and more serious.
"The responsability to lead the fight against the Abyss until its extinction."
The annoncement resonated in the head of every living being, all of them understanding it no matter if they could speak a language or not. Every universes, with no exception, listened to this message.
The reactions were varied, from fear to confusion, from anger to happiness. However, only a few felt excitement, only a few had the strength and confidence to believe themselves worthy of this battle.
In a gold and platinium temple with the giant golden statue of a naked muscular man with no face, a sole globe with no detail replacing his head, an angel with long blonde hair rose up from his seated position.
The golden rod he was holding shattered to the force of his hand, now close.
He oppened his palm with the various bits and pieces of the broken golden rod falling to the ground. His face transforming into one of pure anger.
"What are you doing Eve !"
At the same time, Eve's final announcement was said.
"In a week from now, the battle of the divine throne will begin !"
