Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: Home

Not too long ago, the most dangerous battle the world had ever seen took place, so close to war that society itself was on the brink of collapse. And yet, somehow, humanity survived. Life slowly began returning to normal as the government started rebuilding the cities destroyed in the conflict. People waited for their wounds and broken bones to heal. Hospitals were filled to the brim.

But that was eight years ago.

A new generation of top heroes has been announced. Crime has dropped significantly, and heroes have finally found time to relax. But during that great battle, one hero stood out from the rest. He didn't fear what might happen to himself, he only feared what might happen to others .That hero was Izuku Midoriya.

Izuku lost his Quirk as a result of the battle. Still, he continued on as a hero instructor and has now been teaching for eight years. One day, his former classmates pooled their money to create a new type of robotic suit that would allow Izuku to return to hero work. Before long, he was already recognized as the fourth-ranked Pro Hero.

And yet, Izuku still missed his old powers, the way he could help people directly and powerfully. But there was one thought that wouldn't leave his mind: Who is my father? Where is he?

Izuku knew his father had been abroad for his entire life. He had never thought much about it before, since his mother had always been there raising him, loving him, protecting him. But now, as an adult, Izuku wanted to find him. He considered buying plane tickets but wanted someone to come along, he just didn't know who.

One evening, Izuku and his mother were having dinner together at home. The moment was peaceful - until there was a knock at the door.

"Are you expecting someone, Mom?" Izuku asked, his mouth full of food, clearly surprised. His mother shook her head, equally puzzled. "No, I'm not. Let me go check."

She stood up and walked to the door. Izuku followed curiously behind. When the door opened, a man stood before them - young-looking, about 175 cm tall, wearing ordinary city clothes: a hoodie and jeans. His hair was green and slightly spiky - not exactly like Izuku's, but close. Izuku glanced down and noticed droplets near the man's feet. He hesitated, was it raining outside?

But it wasn't rain.

They were tears. Before Izuku could fully react, his mother stepped forward and wrapped her arms around the man. She embraced him tightly.

Izuku froze.

"W-why are you hugging him, Mom? Why is he hugging you? What's going on?!" The stranger lifted his gaze and said quietly:

"It's been so long… Mom."

The family sat at the dinner table, but the new family member didn't seem to disturb Izuku. He kept eating, even though his mind was spinning with countless questions.

"Mom, why didn't I know I had a brother?" Izuku asked curiously, with a hint of excitement. His mother, Inko, paused for a moment to consider her answer – but the truth was, she didn't really know either.

"I remember your father taking your older brother with him right around the time you were born. But I have no idea what Tekashi has been doing all this time... and I haven't heard from him since."

Izuku turned to face his brother. "Can you tell us, big bro?"

Tekashi looked tense and slightly flushed, but his expression made it clear he had something important to say. He set down his chopsticks, took a deep breath, and began:

"The reason I'm here isn't because I want to reconnect with my family... It's about our father. He's become a villain. I'm here to ask for your help, Izuku – because I believe only you can bring him back."

Both Izuku and Inko froze in place. "MY FATHER IS A VILLAIN?!" Izuku shouted in shock. Before Inko could respond, Tekashi quickly added:

"It's not his fault. Villains tricked him and reshaped him into the strongest villain – even stronger than Shigaraki."

The thought was unbelievable. How could their father be stronger than Shigaraki – a man already known as one of the most dangerous villains in history? But Tekashi still had something he hadn't revealed. He hesitated, then decided to speak:

"I'm a national-level hero."

Izuku's eyes widened.

"National-level hero? I've never heard of that. What does it mean?"

"It means my activities are classified. Only about ten people know – and now, you two are among them. That's why I'm asking for your help, Izuku. Come with me to the United States. Help me save our father." Izuku looked down, uncertain.

"Of course I want to help... but even though I'm the fourth-ranked hero, I don't have a Quirk anymore. I wouldn't last a second if he's really that strong."

"Don't be ridiculous. You still have your Quirk. It doesn't just disappear like that."

Izuku couldn't believe what he was hearing. Tekashi asked to borrow him for a moment, but didn't say why. They headed to U.A. Academy and entered the sparring hall.

"What are we doing here?" Izuku asked, glancing around. "This is a sparring hall – we're going to fight. Brother versus brother. Exciting, right?" Tekashi said with a grin.

They positioned themselves about ten meters apart. The hall was empty, the floor made of concrete.

"But I don't have a Quirk, and I don't even know what your Quirk is. I don't even have my costume!"

"Have you even tested it?"

"Well, no... but—"

Before Izuku could finish, green lightning sparked from his hand. The power returned to his body. "What the heck... it works!" Izuku shouted in disbelief.

"No time for questions – give it your all!"

Tekashi was already ready, knees bent. Izuku bounced on his legs a few times, preparing to strike. He had several former Quirk abilities, and one of them was Fa Jin – a power that stores kinetic energy. He did squats to charge energy and released it all at once.

"Get ready!" Izuku shouted as he dashed faster than sound toward Tekashi.

"Full Cowl! Shoot Style!"

He twisted in midair and aimed a kick straight at Tekashi's head. A loud crack rang out. Izuku landed on the ground.

"That should've done it..."

But Tekashi wasn't there. Izuku sensed movement behind him – and saw his brother.

"Got you."

Tekashi reached out a hand toward Izuku, but he reacted quickly and reappeared behind him. "California Smash!" Izuku yelled and struck. Tekashi blocked the blow with both arms. But Izuku didn't let up – he kept attacking relentlessly.

"You're surprisingly fast, Izuku!" Tekashi shouted excitedly.

He backed off, but Izuku chased after him. Just when Tekashi thought he had control, Izuku struck:

"You fell for it!"

Izuku had been charging Fa Jin energy the whole time. He pushed Tekashi away and slammed both hands into the ground – sending a massive crack toward his brother.

"Not bad... not bad... but are you ready for this?"

Tekashi raised his hand in front of his face. A katana materialized in it. He smiled in a way that sent chills down Izuku's spine.

"Time Manipulation, VOID."
