When news reaches Tessa of her husband whereabout, she was very heart broken and filled with dismay.
At first, Tessa believes her husband was innocent but before hearing her husband side of the story, Richard came in the way. Richard knows how naive and gullible Tessa was, he took advantage of that, then slowly filled Tessa's mind with antagonizes words against Alihandro.
Tessa was flustered, she didn't know what to believe anymore. It took Tessa hours to process everything before coming to conclusion that Richard was right.
She felt like Alihandro was being so selfish and greedy. "Alihandro, how could you do this to me? How could you do this? Was I not enough? Was our unborn baby not enough? Tessa was very devastated.
Tessa eyes became sore after crying the whole night, She felt totally betrayed.

Ali was interrogated by different police but he stood his ground. The police and the Military felt he don't want to speak and he was protecting the syndicate group.
Despite all his misfortune, he had hope. His wife and his unborn child was his only hope. Everyday and night that passes by, he only dream of seeing his wife again.
It took Tessa one week before making a tough decision in visiting her husband in jail. Before then, her mind was made up after she spoke with Alihandro's lawyer. There was no hope of her husband freedom.
The evidence where pointing at him and there's no one to prove his innocence. Tessa was terrified, the thought of raising a child alone, the thought of bringing her child to the prison at her young age just so she can spend time with her father and also, the feeling of living alone without anyone next to her. All those thoughts keep haunting her, especially that of Richard, who never leave her side and was so devoted to her.
Finally, Tessa decided to pull the string that bind them together. She went to military bureau to visit her for the first and the last time.
"Captain Hale, you have a visitor," the soldier in charge said with a hoarse voice.
Ali began trembling, he sat on the chair waiting patiently with big hope that it was Tessa. He redressed himself as she sniff his body, "Hmm not that bad."
Tessa walk in. Alihandro was grip with joy when his eyes landed on Tessa. It was a dream come through, he was overwhelmed with joy.
Alihandro stood up as he gaze passionately at Tessa. He called out, "My love..."
Before he could say another word, Tessa slapped him on his face.
Alihandro was blown in shock. That was the least he expected from his wife.
"How could you?! How could you, Ali!" Tessa eyes were red, filled with anger and hatred.
Ali drew closer to her, he grab her and plead earnestly with sincerity, "My love believe me, I didn't do anything, I am innocent."
"Babe, you have to help me. Help me proof to them that am innocent.," Alihandro keep begging Tessa.
Tessa already made up her mind. She push his hands away and glare straight into his eyes, "I didn't came here to sympathize with you!" Tessa respond as she snarled at him. Alihandro was confused, he furrowed his brow, "Babe, I don't understand."
"Ali, I love you very much. But not enough to risk my baby for you. Alihandro, I don't know why you this, I don't know why you risk I and your unborn child! I just want you to know that the same way you brought yourself here, use that same way and get yourself out.!" she replied as she became slightly emotional.
Ali was short of words, he was speechless and dumbfounded.
Tessa turn glance at the door to leave, then a thought ran through her mind, she gaze at him one more time. "One more thing!" She paused raising one of her finger up, "I don't want my child to grow up knowing that her father is in jail, so I WANT A DIVORCE."
Ali heart skipped, he was so amused that scoffed in sarcasm, "No way, you're joking, you're joking." He glance into her eyes, Tessa had a serious look on her face. Ali chin curl down, "You're not joking. Tessa, you can't do this to me... My love." his eyes became watery as he became emotional. Alihandro try to hold her but she push him away.
Although Tessa's mind was made up, but her heart still yearn for Ali. She love him so much but she need to do this for her unborn baby, she need to be strong.
Tessa was quiet for awhile until she finally break silent as she held back what she feel inside, "Get your lawyer ready!" Tessa left without turning back.
Alihandro was so hurting and heart broken. He screamed in pain, "No....!! No...!!! Tessaa!!!" Alihandro slammed his hand on the table with anger and annoyance as he weep bitterly.

After one month, the court made their decision. His marriage with Tessa was annulled. He was court martial, that marks the end of his journey as a military soldier.
Alihandro felt it was the end of the the world. He lost his wife and child, he lost his job which he did with great honors. Worst of all, he doesn't know if there was a slightest of hope for him out there or if there's anything to wait or live for or hope for.
After two weeks of being detained, Richard pay him surprised a visit. He came to see hiw miserable of Ali was. Richard didn't hesitate to share with Alihandro the cause of his misfortune. He made known to Alihandro the long extreme he went through to framed him and destroy his reputation.
Richard also threatened to take everything that he left behind, including his ex-wife and unborn baby. While Ali will remain in jail for the rest of his life then he will be out there enjoying his remains.
These triggered the innermost desire of Alihandro. Alihandro eyes was full with vengeance and hate, if only there was a way to leave this prison cell, he will would do it.
Alihandro took an oath, "If I eventually gets out of this jail, I'll come for you, Richard. I'll do to you the same thing you did to me! I will bring you down at all course even if it takes my whole life, I won't stop! Until I see your destruction and only death can stop me!!"

Tessa did her best to cope without Alihandro throughout all her stages during pregnancy. Richard was always by her side, he was always there to help her and never fails to play the hero around her. Each day that fall through, his love for Tessa keep getting stronger. Richard did everything possible to make Tessa fall in love with him.
Five months later, Tessa baby bump grows bigger. The more bigger it grew the more her baby arrival drew closer.
On a certain night, it was bedtime. Tessa lean on the bed to sleep, a heavy surge of pain stroke her hard on her belly. At first, it was a minor pain, slowly and steady, the pain worsen until it got severe.
Tessa battle with her belle as she groans in pain. Suddenly, her water broke.
The pain became unbearable. She did her best to fight it as she struggle to get her phone from the cabinet but the weight and the pain coming from baby, keep weighing her down.
Luckily, Richard stop by to visit. He gasp in shock when he saw Tessa lying helplessly on the bed. "Tessa?! Tess...!"
"Richard... My baby... My baby..." Tessa said in a very weak tone.
Richard pick her up and rush to the hospital. After having a hard time during labor, Tessa successfully gave birth to a baby girl.
When Richard saw the baby, he was not happy. He realizes the baby was the only connection Alihandro and Tessa have left. He skim a plan to get raid of the baby by switching it with a dead one.
Richard gave the baby girl to a woman, who happens to be a nurse and pay her to keep her mouth shut. When Tessa finds out her baby was dead, she was hurt and sad. She didn't get the chance to know her and take care of her.
Richard try to assure her that it will be okay and also convince her that everything happen for a reason. He made her understand that it was another chance to let go of her past life and start all over again.
Richard ask Tessa for a chance to prove himself to her. Tessa, on the hand, decided to start all over again and accept his proposal. They both got married and had beautiful daughter, Natalie Avelino.
Tessa daughter with Alihandro, was given to a nurse who was paid hsndsomely for keeping the baby. The Nurse named her Isabelle Castillo.
