Chapter 49 - Chapter 49 Dumbledore's Test

Damon walked into the stone platform, looked at the Philosopher's Stone embedded in the stone platform, and waved his wand.

The stone platform changed into a propped-up palm, grasping the gorgeous red gem in his hand - nothing happened.

Damon used Transfiguration to transform into a magic man, stepped forward to take the gem - still nothing happened.

He felt a little relieved, maintained the armor to protect himself, reached out to grab the legendary stone, and held it in his hand.

But as soon as he touched it, he realized that this Philosopher's Stone was fake.

The Philosopher's Stone, the legendary stone that can turn stone into gold, is based on the "Philosopher's Stone" in alchemy. It is a legendary treasure that can ignore the principle of "equivalent exchange" and realize miracles.

But the piece in his hand is just a huge source of magic power, with less than one thousandth of the energy of the Philosopher's Stone embedded inside - although it can be used, it is not very useful. At least, it is impossible for Voldemort to use this little energy to reshape his body.

I am afraid that even this energy is used to deceive and seduce Voldemort.

It seems that Dumbledore is more cautious than he thought. The Philosopher's Stone here is just a bait and has been hooked. Maybe he is also among them?

Damon put the fake Philosopher's Stone back on the stone platform, not interested in using it - with such little energy, it is not worth his risk - God knows what Dumbledore will think if he knows that he has taken the Philosopher's Stone?

After thinking for a while, he waved his wand again:

  "Ordinatio Magica"

re-differentiated the fake stone into the previous arrangement, Damon left decisively.

  And after he left.

A tall figure slowly walked out of the shadow in the corner.

He had white hair and blue eyes staring at the direction where Damon left, his eyes were as deep as water.

Damon, why are you here? Could it be that this child is also interested in the Philosopher's Stone - no, it is abnormal if he is not interested in the Philosopher's Stone.

Since he can trigger the arrangement, at least he is just curious about the Philosopher's Stone and has no intention of using it - even for a moment.

But this moment alone was enough. Based on this alone, Dumbledore could conclude that this child had no connection with the Death Eaters - although it was absurd to associate a twelve-year-old child with the Death Eaters.

But there was no way, because something even more absurd had just happened - no one could have imagined that the White Transfiguration Laws, which had been stirring up trouble in the outside world and causing the Wizengamot and the Ministry of Magic Council to make a big fuss, came from a twelve-year-old child.

When the next issue of "Transfiguration Today" is published, I'm afraid that many wizards who have devoted their lives to Transfiguration will face the embarrassing situation of cognitive reshaping.

As for this child, he only had one last thing to verify.

Compared to Damon, who had already confirmed the authenticity of the Philosopher's Stone and even played the entire trial, the three little ones were very nervous in the next few weeks.

Every time they passed by the corridor room on the fourth floor, they had to listen to whether Fluffy was still roaring in it. Snape walked around the school with big strides all day, and his temper was as bad as usual, which undoubtedly showed that the Philosopher's Stone was still safe.

It was not until the final exams were approaching that Hermione lost her composure - even though they still had ten weeks left.

She grabbed Ron and Harry and started to review intensively, but Damon was still away from them.

  In Flitwick's office.

  "Protego totalum"

Damon waved his wand calmly, and the transparent airflow expanded like a fluid throughout the office, covering them all with a layer of transparent film, leaving nothing behind.

"Perfect spellcasting. You have finally solved the problem of not being able to perfectly cover the protected target."

Professor Flitwick clapped his hands, warmly applauding the most outstanding student in the past century.

Damon thanked him with a smile. He was not satisfied with his achievement at all, and continued:

"Professor, I wonder if I can start learning the next spell with you?"

"Of course, what do you want to learn?"

  "Apparition."

".Damon, that may be a bit difficult." Professor Flitwick's face showed embarrassment. "Apparition is only for wizards and witches over the age of 17, and you are not old enough."

"Oh - can't there be an exception?"

Professor Flitwick shook his head. "Apparition is prohibited in the castle. Only those sixth-year students will temporarily lift the protective magic of an area for use when they are studying."

"Even if I teach you, you can only learn the theory, not practice it - but I think you must have understood the theory in advance?"

"In addition, even if I teach you secretly, after you learn Apparition, you must go to the Ministry of Magic's testing center to take the exam and obtain a certificate. This spell is strictly controlled by the Ministry of Magic, and you can't hide it anyway."

"It seems that I have no chance

to learn this magic for the time being?" Damon did not expect that there would be so many restrictions on learning Apparition. It seems that learning Apparition in school is not feasible - he can only find another way.

As if afraid that Damon would be disappointed, Professor Flitwick immediately opened his hands and comforted him:

"How about changing to a higher-level magic? For example, I can teach you the Patronus Charm, and from now on you can have your own Patronus!"

"Compared to this - Professor," Damon looked at Flitwick with a sincere expression, "Can you teach me Occlumency?"

"Where did you know this spell, Occlumency? Ordinary wizards should not be able to access this content."

Professor Flitwick was really surprised. Then, he thought of Dumbledore's advice to him, and his face was complicated:

"I can teach you, Damon, but do you know anything about Occlumency?"

"To be honest, I don't know much. I only know that after practicing it, it can resist the prying of other people's thoughts."

Professor Flitwick nodded, wrote him a note, and said:

"This is my note. You can use it to borrow relevant books from the restricted book area. I recommend two books to you. One is "Forgetting and Resistance: A Guide to Memory Magic Defense" and the other is "The Soul, Mind, and the Boundary of Magic". When you have learned more, you can come to me again."

Damon thanked Professor Flitwick and went straight to the restricted book area with the note.

Speaking of which, this is his first time here. Before, he had always been obsessed with laying a solid foundation. He just felt that being exposed to advanced spells too early would make his mind deviate and lead to unrealistic goals.

After verification and guidance from the librarian Madam Pince, Damon went to the X3 column of area B and found the two books he needed.

  "Pah."

At this moment, a book with a brown and black leather cover fell from nowhere and landed directly at Damon's feet.

Damon leaned over to pick up the book, flipped it over, and saw its cover - the elegant and evil purple lines on both sid

es, together with the title in the center:
