Realizing that I was failing to trick her and she has caught on. I started to beg. Okay I can do your chores tomorrow if you just talk to the tree, Angie please.
She looked at me funny. All this for a tree that nearly killed you! Carter what is wrong with you?
Angie the tree is fading because you are angry at it. It only moves when your around, so it is trying to behave.
Today I gave it a hug and it didn't try to kill me just removed me, gently with its branches. It needed space, so it moved me away from it.
She looked at me with serious eyes and said how gently. Cause you look tired and dirty.
That had nothing to do with the tree. I got myself dirty and sweaty trying to entertain it. It only removed me gently this morning.
Okay I dare you to go give it a hug again. This time it will be weird because I know it's a guy. She didn't answer just gave me a look so I bargained.
Okay if I hug it then, you also have to hug it . She gave me a one word answer. No!
Okay if not a hug at least a leaf hand shake. Again a one word answer. No! Angie, you got to give something.
Angie said, "I will start greeting it." Then I added, and maybe a smile for your little brothers sake. Okay deal now go.
She was in quiet a hurry, to get me to the tree. For someone, who thinks the tree will harm me.
I Pretended that it was hard, by looking all weirded out, when I was facing them, but when I faced the tree, I was the happiest. Obviously the tree was now stuck.
With me giving it a proper hug, and Angie will end up doing more, than giving it a greeting. I just had to push it, in that direction over time.
I got to the tree and gave it a hug and it let me be. Angie then said you see the tree doesn't like you, it's not even giving you a hug back.
Yet it expects me to smile at it. When I turned around, to protest and say she was going back on our deal.
The tree brought down, its leafy branches and hugged me back.
I was shocked but very happy. We where finally on the same side. I could see us becoming best friend, duels and talking for hours on end.
The tree let go and it instantly became cold, without its leafs. Which snapped me, out of my daze.
The daze, that I didn't know I was in. Until I opened my eyes, to see the ladies giggling, as quietly as possible and kiway having a smile on his face.
My face turned red as I said. I am probably the first, to get a hug from the tree. It's an achievement!
Now everybody started to laugh.
I understood it was a little bit funny. Now it was her turn, to go to the tree, so as I thought about this. I started to grin again.
Which made my sister to stop laughing as she stared, at me and ask with a worried expression, what are you thinking about now?
Well, it is your turn to greet the tree. Okay that's easy. Hi tree! she said with a bright smile.
That can't be it! After all my trouble, that is cheating Angie!
Who knows if it can even here you, from where you stand. greeting means acknowledging it, so you have to at least go to it.
She looked at me weirdly, as I dragged her closer to the tree. She let me drag her, probably because she knew that I, wanted her to do more than wave at the tree.
When we where close enough for the tree to touch her . I stopped and said. Now your part of the deal.
She smiled at me before saying. Tree I forgive you! and I will keep my promise to my brother, as long as you treat him like you just did a while ago.
If you want to have me, as your family. You must learn to treat my family right. Which includes all the people I care about.
From the point where she said, she forgives the tree. It started to have a dim light, that became brighter as she spoke.
I stood next to my sister, with my eyes wide open and my mouth wide open.
My brain was blank but my heart full, so full like it was about to burst, type of full.
Then as a bonus, she raised her hand and ran her hand, gently along some leafs. As she did that, the tree emitted a bright light, for a brief moment.
Then there was small, sparks of light floating around it, like they where droplets evaporating from the tree.
It was during the day but the small sparks, shined so bright we could all see them, even kiway. Who claims, that his sight is no longer what it once was.
Like he usually says, when complaining about doing something, that involves small parts being scattered or counted. To get some. Healing mixture just right.
Once she was done talking to the tree, she looked at me smiling and pushed my chin up gently. Saying, close your mouth. Before you swallow up, all the beautiful sparks.
Besides, didn't you want a sample for something. Or are you only planning to get one, after the sparks get carried away by the wind?
As she reminded me. I ran to the cave, to get a type of container we use for water, spilling the water at the caves entrance.
As I rushed out again to go catch and put in, the container as many sparks from the tree as possible.
Kiway and Angelique watch me as I collected, some sparks. Then Nehu came and joined in.
Sometimes she could be gentle, but it was a very rare sight, because she is a warrior, I think!
By the time we where done, we sat under the tree, with Angie leaning against the tree and on the same cloth, that was supposed to be a table, to the tree.
Enjoying a meal, that nearly got burned by kiway because he was just as astonished. To witness Angelique's interaction with the tree.
He was able, to better hide his amazed expression. Probably because he was supposed to be, all knowing to a certain extent.
All because he is a seer. Training another, younger or next generation seer.
When he is just as amazed as I am. Then I am reassured, that my sister, is as awesome as I keep claiming.
