' Someone has part of my DNA… '
It's hard to think about that without feeling a chill run down my spine. It's not like facing a villain or surviving a critical mission — this is deeper. More personal.
Someone out there has a piece of me. A piece of my code. Of what makes me… me.
' Was that my choice ? Of course not. It was a setup. A manipulation.
And yet, I can't help but wonder... would they put part of me into a person ? What would that person feel? What would they believe in ?
Or worse… what did they turn them into ? '
But I take a deep breath. The world doesn't stop just because my mind's spinning. And today, there's training.
[U.A. Training Grounds – Special Class vs. Class 1-B]
The sky felt heavy, like it was waiting for the clash. Clouds swirled overhead, but the U.A. field stood firm — ready for another test.
Only the four of us on the team: Mirio, Nejire, Tamaki, and me.
Our little squad — a special class, outside the traditional divisions, but never lacking in teamwork.
Mirio was already grinning, cracking his fists together with that unmistakable energy like he's always ready for anything.
Nejire floated in circles above us, her spiraling energy leaving shimmering trails in the air, full of curiosity and excitement.
Tamaki kept his usual reserved posture, mumbling something about how he'd do better as a squid — but I knew. He was ready to shine in his own way.
And me… I was wearing the suit I had custom-made. Something that was mine.
I used the finest materials from my father's company — resilient, flexible, able to withstand absurd impacts without sacrificing comfort.
I worked with the Support Course to make sure every detail matched my combat style and needs.
The result wasn't just functional — it was a statement.
A uniform of firm sky-white with golden trims on the shoulders, cuffs, chest, and sides. The golden "S" on my chest wasn't an inheritance — it was a declaration. A symbol I chose to carry.
The white cape flowed lightly, swaying with the gravitational pull that always seems to gather around me. Part technical, part instinctive.
The field began to vibrate as Class 1-B spread out.
Mirio stepped over, flashing that carefree grin.
"Ready to show why we're the best ?"
"Always," I replied with a small smirk.
Nejire twirled in the air, shouting:
"Let's make this shine !"
Tamaki sighed, but took his stance.
[Training Field – Combat Zone]
The alarm rang, marking the start of the battle simulation. Class 1-B charged with well-rehearsed tactics. They didn't know who they were really facing, but they wanted to impress.
Three came in first:
Takashi Doi – Quirk: "Stone Skin"
His body coated in reinforced stone plates — stronger, tougher, but slower.
Emiko Sato – Quirk: "Sonic Bloom"
She could fire sonic bursts and use echolocation to track enemies.
Riku Hayashi – Quirk: "Vine Pulse"
Vines grew from his hands, reacting to his heartbeat — the faster it beat, the more aggressive they got.
Takashi charged at Mirio with fists like sledgehammers.
'He's going in for brute force... bad move,' I thought.
Mirio slipped underground with Permeation and popped up behind him, landing a clean punch in his blind spot — grinning the whole time.
"You gotta watch your six, buddy !" he shouted, as the blow launched Takashi like a catapulted boulder.
Above us, Nejire spun in spiral motions, her hair flowing with the rhythm of her wave energy.
Emiko shot a sonic burst, but Nejire dodged effortlessly, firing back with a spiraling energy blast that exploded in a bluish flare.
"Wooooah ! That was loud ! Let's see if you can dance, Emiko-chan !"
The shot hit the edge of Emiko's platform, throwing her off balance.
Tamaki stayed defensive — arms already transformed into octopus tentacles and butterfly wings — an odd combo, but calculated.
He parried Riku's vine strikes with swift tentacle whips, avoiding and waiting for an opening.
Riku pressed harder, vines whirling like saws.
Tamaki murmured, "This is getting annoying…"
Then struck — one jab from a shrimp-derived stinger coated in a paralyzing fluid.
Riku fell stiff, muscles locking up.
From above, I watched everything. Every breath, every twitch, every misstep.
Time to move.
I dove like a missile, slamming into the ground between two students moving in to support Riku. The impact cracked the concrete.
"Time to wrap this up."
One student reached for me with a magnetism quirk, trying to lock onto the metal in my suit.
I responded with an icy breath.
A shimmering blue mist swept forward, freezing the ground, his feet, and his arms in thick ice. He fell, trembling and stuck.
Another tried to blindside me — launching from the air with a boosted leap.
Fast, but predictable.
I turned and fired a heat vision beam into a nearby metal slab.
The extreme heat vaporized the air, causing a pressure burst that knocked him off course.
I rushed in with a controlled punch — shattered his impact gear and sent him flying into the grass, unconscious.
Floating again above the field, I saw Emiko aiming at Nejire.
I fired another beam — at the ground near her feet.
A controlled burst of heat startled her, made her stumble. No harm, just precision.
I landed beside Tamaki.
"All good here ?" I asked, scanning the KO'd opponents.
"More or less... I'm better with food than people."
I smiled.
Nejire still spun above, joyful as ever.
"I WOOOOOON !" she yelled — even though this wasn't a solo fight.
Mirio popped out of the ground, thumbs-up and beaming.
[U.A. Training Field – Combat Simulation Phase Two]
The dust hadn't even settled when the alarms blared again. Round two was coming.
The second wave of Class 1-B — stronger, better coordinated, hungry for a comeback.
I hovered above, cape flowing, scanning their formation like a satellite.
Each heartbeat below felt like a fuse waiting to be lit.
Mirio cracked his knuckles.
"Oh yeah, now it's heating up !"
"Let's test the fire," I murmured, descending slowly.
As we hit the ground, the new batch charged.
Tamaki vs. Haruki Mizuno (Quirk: Liquid Form)
Haruki lashed out with water whips, his body half-liquid. Hard to hit, harder to trap.
Tamaki didn't flinch.
His right arm turned into a tuna fin — slicing through water strikes like butter.
Tentacles anchored him as roots sprouted from his soles — probably from some veggie of the cafeteria.
They shot out like spears, skewering the puddles Haruki tried to escape into.
Pinned. Victory.
Nejire vs. Kana Ishii (Quirk: Mirror Veil)
Kana made mirror illusions using light.
Nejire laughed, spun mid-air, and charged energy in her palms.
"Let's see you DANCE through this !"
She fired twin spirals — one vertical, one horizontal — slicing through the
clones.
Only one remained.
Nejire crashed down like a blue comet. Game over.
Mirio vs. Junpei Tanaka (Quirk: Gravity Bubble)
Junpei tried to crush Mirio between two gravity spheres.
Mirio phased through the ground.
His head popped out behind Junpei.
"Boo."
A clean uppercut launched him into the air.
Junpei tried to retaliate with more gravity spheres — Mirio ran on top of them like platforms.
'He's untouchable. That's why they call him the sun of U.A.'
Me vs. Masaru Genda (Quirk: Pulse Rail) + 3 others
Masaru zipped on energy rails he generated through metal.
I melted the anchors with heat vision.
The rails collapsed.
Before he could react, I dove and slammed down like a meteor.
Done.
Three more closed in — one with smoke, one with retractable spikes, and another with air control.
They circled me.
Misstep.
One step forward — I unleashed my freezing breath.
The ground flash-froze.
Spikes shattered.
Smoke turned to crystals.
The air controller fell to his knees, coughing in the frost.
No chance.
A surprise energy orb launched from above.
I turned midair — eyes glowing — and blasted it with full-power heat vision.
It exploded harmlessly.
I hovered again. Silent.
Eyes glowing.
Breaths ragged below me.
[Combat End]
The judge's voice rang out:
"Simulation complete. Special Class wins."
I landed beside my team.
Mirio grinned, punching the air.
"Dude… that was awesome !"
I bumped his fist, still mentally reviewing every data point.
Nejire twirled above us, singing.
"Bright ! Spirally ! PERFECT !"
Tamaki folded his arms, grumbling:
"Just hope they didn't record my scream…"
And me, standing there — winded but steady — I looked around.
Even after everything…
Even with a timebomb in my head…
Even knowing someone out there has part of my DNA…
I'm still me.
And here, with them — my friends — I keep fighting for what I chose to protect.
I'm still Revan.
And no one's taking that away from me.
