Chapter 11 - Ezio Unleashed

"Perona," Ezio muttered, eyes darting across the chaotic scene—screaming humans scattered everywhere, buildings ablaze, and destruction in every direction. "You really think we might've gone a little… too far?"

Everything was on fire. Buildings, people—nothing was safe from the chaos. Misfortune was everywhere, like an unwanted party guest who just wouldn't leave. But the weirdest part? People were abducting each other in a never-ending game of "Tag, You're It!" It was like everyone forgot who originally kidnapped whom, and now they were just passing people around like hot potatoes.

"Nah," Perona replied with infectious giddiness. "This. Is. Awesome!"

Ezio sighed, regretting asking for a dash of common sense from his ghostly companion.

"You've definitely gone too far," Sugar interrupted sharply, her voice cutting through the chaos. "And that's coming from a member of the Doflamingo Family."

Before anyone could react, Sugar's fist erupted in a swirl of black Armament Haki and slammed into Perona's face with a thunderous crack. The impact sent Perona flying through the sky like some kind of cursed Team Rocket trio.

"Oh," Ezio muttered with a frown, watching her vanish from sight. "I should've lent her some of my luck. Poor Perona."

Everyone seemed to forget that Sugar—despite her childish demeanor—was a core, terrifyingly powerful member of the Doflamingo Family.

She was no pushover.

Ezio glanced at his own hands, then back at Sugar. "I didn't think this plan through all the way."

"You're just realizing that now?" Sugar smirked, her fist still crackling with dark Haki. With lightning speed, she swung it straight at Ezio's face—but who would've guessed?

She slipped.

"My thanks go to the holy banana peel!" Ezio knelt before the legendary relic that had appeared out of nowhere. "You're my savior once again!"

Sugar stood, glaring and rubbing her nose. "I have never had a more annoying enemy than you!"

"Thanks?" Ezio sighed, ducking left just in time to avoid the angry girl's flying kick. But that was only the opening act. Suddenly, she unleashed a barrage of punches—hundreds of them—like this was some kind of Dragon Ball Z warm-up round.

Strangely, Ezio dodged every single one.

From the outside, it looked like pure skill and lightning-fast reflexes.

In reality? It was pure chaos disguised as luck. A gust of wind pushed him aside. He slipped on who-knows-what. Sugar herself slipped at one point, throwing off her aim. And once, a random bird flew straight into a fist meant for Ezio—nature's own bodyguard.

In short? It was absolute madness.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" Sugar screamed.

"Luckiest guy alive," Ezio said with a grin, just as a grand piano crashed down from the sky and smacked Sugar right in the face.

With a furious roar, Sugar punched straight through the piano, her cheeks blazing red.

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU—"

"MOOOOOOO!"

Out of nowhere, a bull charged full speed, horns blazing, and slammed right into Sugar. The impact was so fierce it sent her flying like a ragdoll caught in a tornado.

"Is that…?" Ezio blinked, barely believing what he was seeing.

"Moooooo!"

"UCY!"

"MOOO!"

Ezio scrambled onto his newfound companion, feeling instantly safer atop the massive, snorting bull. He immediately flooded the beast with an absurd amount of luck—not that the poor guy was going to share the same fate as his ghostly princess.

"Alright, let's turn Sugar into hamburger meat!"

"MOOOOOOOOOO!"

"DAMN YOU!"

Suddenly, Sugar appeared behind them and snapped her fingers. In an instant, Ucy was transformed—not just into any toy, but a Barbie doll. A blonde Barbie doll, no less.

"UCCCCYYY—wait," Ezio blinked, staring at the doll in disbelief. "Who the hell is Ucy?!"

A tiny, muffled "MOOOOO!" came from the Barbie's mouth.

Ezio frowned. "You're a weird toy."

"BARBIE!" Sugar commanded sharply. "Attack!"

Without warning, the creepy blonde Barbie lunged—biting down hard on Ezio's arm.

"Argh! What the hell?!" Ezio yelped, clutching his arm.

That was the moment everything spiraled out of control.

Ezio suddenly found himself completely surrounded. An endless sea of enemies stretched across the plaza—too many to count, their faces twisted into cruel, hungry grins.

"You really thought our family was just a handful of pests?" Sugar's smirk widened as she surveyed the mass of foes. "We command armies, bastard. Welcome to the New World."

Ezio scanned the crowd, one eyebrow twitching in disbelief.

"Uh… shit."

No amount of his trademark steely glare could save him now.

What came next was merciless.

He was pummeled. Brutally.

"Don't knock him out too fast!" Sugar snarled, landing a couple of savage sucker punches. "I want him to feel every second of this!"

"YES!" the army roared in terrifying unison.

"This!" Ezio spat, blood dripping from his busted nose, "This is abuse!"

"WE DON'T CARE, ASSHOLE!" the army bellowed back, their patience snapped. The line between tormentors and executioners had vanished.

Ezio staggered under the onslaught, every blow sending shockwaves through his battered body. His vision blurred, the world tilting as fists and boots rained down relentlessly. Despite the pain, a fire burned in his eyes—defiance refusing to be snuffed out.

He tried to raise his arm to block a crushing blow, but the force sent him sprawling onto the cracked stone of the plaza. The crowd closed in like wolves circling their prey, their snarls echoing off the ancient walls.

"Is that all you've got?" Ezio rasped, wiping blood from his split lip. His voice was hoarse but laced with venom. "You think beating me down will break me? You don't know who you're messing with."

Sugar laughed, a cold, cruel sound that cut through the chaos. "We don't need to break you, just humble you. Maybe then you'll finally learn your place."

From the crowd, a massive figure stepped forward—a hulking brute with scars crisscrossing his face. Without hesitation, he raised a heavy fist and slammed it into Ezio's ribs. The air whooshed out of Ezio's lungs in a painful gasp.

But no allies came. No cavalry thundered in from the shadows. The plaza remained a swirling sea of enemies, their eyes gleaming with merciless hunger.

Ezio's breath came ragged, every movement agony, but still, he refused to give in. His spirit, battered but unbroken, roared in silent defiance.

This wasn't the end.

Not yet.

Ezio lay sprawled on the cold stone, feeling like he'd been hit by a freight train... then trampled by a herd of angry cows. Every breath was a sharp reminder that things were not going his way. Around him, the crowd of grinning enemies closed in like a swarm of bloodthirsty mosquitoes—with way too many teeth and suspiciously bad breath.

The hulking brute raised his fist for the finishing blow, probably expecting a satisfying crunch. But Ezio, barely conscious, with blood dripping from his nose and lips, suddenly found himself moving on pure instinct. Or maybe it was just stubbornness.

He rolled away just in time. The brute's fist smashed into the stone, leaving a crater and a very pissed-off opponent.

Ezio groaned, wiped the blood from his face, and then—something strange happened.

A weird buzzing started deep in his chest, like someone had cranked up the volume on his internal "Don't mess with me" meter. The air around him thickened. The crowd's chatter died down. Even Sugar's smug grin started to twitch.

"What the—?"

Ezio struggled to his feet, vision sharper than it had been all fight, chest pounding with a power he didn't quite understand. He looked around at the sea of enemies—then at Sugar, whose confidence suddenly looked like a balloon losing air.

"This ends now."

Before anyone could blink, the world exploded.

A massive shockwave blasted out from Ezio, sending soldiers flying in every direction like ragdolls caught in a hurricane. Dust and debris filled the air. Sugar was slammed to her knees, wide-eyed and speechless for once.

The army collapsed like a badly stacked pile of cards, knocked out cold or too stunned to move.

Ezio stood there, chest heaving, utterly exhausted, and wiped the sweat and blood off his brow.

"Well… that was convenient," he muttered.

Out of the corner of his eye, a shimmering glow caught his attention.

The creepy blonde Barbie doll—Ucy—began twisting and shifting. Plastic melted away as muscles rippled, hooves thundered down onto the plaza's stone, and in moments, the majestic bull stood tall and proud once again.

Ucy let out a triumphant MOO that somehow sounded suspiciously like, "Let's roll, buddy."

Ezio smirked, patting the bull's massive head.

"Ah, Ucy! How could I forget my trusty sidekick?"

And then, as the dust settled and the plaza fell into stunned silence, Ezio felt it—the undeniable surge of power radiating from within. That strange buzzing?

It was the awakening of an incredible conqueror's haki, powerful enough to bring down an entire army—and knock Sugar out cold with a single shockwave.

"Hm…" Ezio blinked. And blinked. And blinked again like his brain was trying to catch up.

"Wait… was I really that lucky? Did I just… accidentally awaken Conqueror's Haki? Seriously?"

Ucy stared at him for a second, then gave a slow, dramatic nod—as if saying, "Yep, you're that ridiculous."
