Chapter 109 - Chapter 109

"What Dormammu of the Dark Dimension can do, the Vishanti of the Sacred Dimension can also do. It's just that the Sacred Dimension isn't like Dormammu, who entices life from other realms with false promises like longevity, and then relies on dark energy to find worlds one by one, ultimately devouring them to strengthen himself."

As Kurohane explained the fundamental difference between the two dimensions to Odin, he also revealed the Sacred Scar on his palm. Under the influence of mental energy, the scar emitted a soft, hazy white light, pulsating gently as if alive.

"Thanks to this Sacred Scar, I can convert my mental energy into Sacred Energy," Kurohane explained, his voice filled with conviction. "In other words, I might be the only person in this universe who can freely use Sacred Energy without worrying about mental energy backlash. This is why my teacher, The Ancient One, values me so much. As long as I have enough mental energy, I can give you Sacred Energy to strengthen your body. Wouldn't that work?"

Odin furrowed his brow, his single eye fixed on the Sacred Energy in Kurohane's hand. "Do you have enough mental energy?"

"No."

"..." A brief silence enveloped the room, broken only by Odin's sigh.

"But it's true!" Kurohane grinned, then with a swift motion, he pulled out the Infinity Gauntlet and put it on. The yellow Mind Stone on the back of the gauntlet radiated a warm glow under the light of Odin's study, as if whispering promises of boundless power. "What do you think? Old Allfather, care to try?"

Truth be told, Odin was genuinely tempted! After all, the reputation of the Sacred Dimension had long preceded it. Except for dark beings, no life form could resist this gentle and pure energy. The Books of the Vishanti mostly recorded minor life spells, while other spells focused on defense and healing. It didn't seem dangerous at all. However, if Kurohane were to channel Sacred Energy into his body... Odin felt it was somewhat inappropriate. Unless he actively absorbed it from Kurohane's body, that would be more acceptable! But whether Kurohane channeled it into him, or he absorbed it from Kurohane—the words exchanged between these two adult men were truly hard to bear!

"Kurohane, Mage," Odin began, his expression serious, his voice lower than usual. "I wonder if you have any plans to open a Sacred Dimension that belongs only to you?"

"Open a dimension? Is that something that can be done?" Kurohane was instantly surprised by Odin's words, his eyes widening slightly. He had even considered taking over Dormammu's Dark Dimension, but opening a dimension itself was something that had never occurred to him. After all, the difficulty of this matter was too great!

"Asgard's library is no less than Kamar-Taj's," Odin continued, as if reading his thoughts, a faint smile playing on his lips. "If Kurohane, Mage, is interested, you can take a look. When you understand how the Triune Vishanti came into being, you will realize that the ancient gods also started from scratch, creating their own dimensions. However, your power is still too weak compared to the ancient gods, but perhaps you could try it with the power of the Infinity Stones."

After Odin finished speaking, Kurohane fell silent, lost in deep thought. He thought Odin had a good idea, but after all that, it was still about using the Infinity Stones. If so, wouldn't it just be a snap of the fingers? Let alone creating a dimension, destroying the universe was possible. However, he had never been able to snap his fingers since he was a child, unless there was a kind person willing to sacrifice for him...

"Huh?!" Kurohane suddenly realized something, his eyes widening. "Wait, if Odin snaps his fingers and wishes for himself to have an incredibly strong body, then wouldn't he be unharmed by the Infinity Stones? Is this considered exploiting a bug?" A mischievous idea sparked in his mind, a sly grin beginning to form.

"Forget it," Kurohane shook his head, wiping away the grin. A flash of realization struck him. "Creating a new dimension out of thin air would bring danger to this Reality. Countless universe-eaters might turn their gaze towards this universe, and I might not even be able to maintain my own dimension. This path is temporarily unfeasible and pointless."

At this moment, Kurohane had already placed the search for Wanda Maximoff on his agenda. He needed the power of Chaos Magic! Otherwise, with his current abilities, he wouldn't be strong enough to face dimensional invaders! The main reason was that with his current Justice Points, it was too difficult to activate skills that could confront Dormammu without great risk!

Ultimately, Odin and Kurohane discussed for almost the entire night, but still didn't reach a final agreement on Odin's strengthening. However, at Kurohane's suggestion, Odin still tried the effect of Sacred Energy. The Sacred Energy stored in Kurohane's Sacred Scar was limited. Even with the Mind Stone providing energy, it was truly unrealistic to completely transform Odin's body. But it was quite useful for sorting out the unruly divine power within Odin's body!

That night, both adult men slept soundly. Odin felt comfortable, and Kurohane was exhausted! Because of this matter, Odin's resolve to marry his daughter to Kurohane grew even stronger. This prospective son-in-law was too kind. For his father-in-law to live longer, he didn't stop even when his mental energy was depleted and his body was covered in sweat. He had to agree to this marriage!

The next day, after Kurohane woke up, he actively requested to visit the Asgardian library. However, after only glancing at the catalog, he left, muttering to himself as he walked, "I was truly tricked yesterday. Why should I, a Mage, look at books for no reason?!" He shook his head. "A true Mage should walk the path of a warrior and leave the warriors with no path to walk!"

With that crazy idea, he directly visited the Asgardian military camp and met Sif and the others, under Thor's introduction. As soon as Kurohane saw Sif's heroic appearance, he knew this was another brute of a woman!

"The Rainbow Bridge is almost repaired, and our troops to suppress the rebellion are ready. So there's no military training in the camp today. You've come to the wrong place," Sif stared at Kurohane with a disdainful look, her eyes sweeping over the suit and tie he wore. "This is where real men should stay, not suitable for you!" She somewhat disdained Kurohane's attire, as Kurohane didn't look like a warrior at all in those clothes.

But Thor, standing beside him, felt shivers down his spine. After all, he had seen Kurohane take Thor's hammer. If Kurohane was pushed too far, he might seize Thor's hammer and hit Sif, and it would all be over! Although he had no romantic feelings for Sif, Sif was his childhood friend—he had to save her!

"Kurohane, you know Sif didn't mean it that way, she just doesn't understand you..." While Thor was still trying to find excuses for Sif, Kurohane had already launched his attack.

He watched as Sif threw her weapon directly to the ground and began doing push-ups, one set for each pose, with incredibly standard movements, so no one could find fault! Even without the enhancement of the Mind Stone, Kurohane's Telepathy was immensely powerful. People like Sif, who had more muscle in their brains, were simply too easy to control!

The rest, upon discovering Sif's abnormality, shouted, "Damn wizard!" and rushed towards Kurohane with their weapons. Soon after, there were several other unfortunate souls also doing push-ups on the ground, their faces bewildered.

"Thor, why are you staring at me?" Kurohane turned to Thor, a sly grin on his face, the corners of his lips upturned. "Don't just stand there, count them. They shouldn't stand up before they reach a thousand!"

"Yes!" Thor, both startled and horrified, began counting loudly, his eyes bulging at his friends' sudden intensive workout.
