There lay the imperial capital.
Compared to other cities ravaged by war, the capital looked perfectly fine. Its people lived in comfort, their faces fresh and vibrant.
Inside a hotel in the capital…
Several individuals were gathered in a large room.
They looked peculiar—especially three of them, who were kneeling on the ground, completely motionless.
On the couch sat a girl with white hair, her hands covering her face in frustration.
"It's over… this empire is doomed. There isn't a single person worthy of becoming emperor."
Alice lowered her hands, revealing eyes filled with disappointment.
"I really want to know… what did the late emperor teach his children? They're either scum or completely useless. What a foolish family."
