The two agents strutted forward leisurely, completely ignoring Reno and the rest of his crew.
Their focus was singular—kill Vivi first, then deal with the others at their leisure.
"It's Mr. 5 and his partner, Miss Valentine!"
Vivi instantly recognized the duo.
"Why are you here?!"
Mr. 5, looking every bit the disgruntled rockstar, gave her a deadpan glare.
"We're here for you, Miss Wednesday… no, let's call you by your real name—Princess Vivi."
Busted.
Igaram's face changed drastically.
"Princess Vivi, run! I'll hold them off!"
He leapt in front of her, pulling multiple barrels from beneath his ridiculous golden hair.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Gunfire erupted like a hailstorm, bullet after bullet flying straight at Mr. 5.
"GO! NOW!" Igaram roared, pouring everything he had into the distraction.
But his attention was too focused.
Above, Miss Valentine had floated silently into the sky—and now plummeted down.
"2,000 KILOGRAMS!"
BOOM!
She came crashing down on Igaram like a missile.
Bones cracked. Dust burst. Blood sprayed from Igaram's mouth as he was flattened to the ground, helpless.
"Igaram! Are you okay?!"
Vivi knelt beside him in panic.
"Cough… I'm fine, Your Highness… not dead yet…"
He winced in pain, breathing shallow.
Miss Valentine hovered overhead under her parasol, sneering.
"Going undercover under Crocodile's nose—should I call that brave, or just stupid?"
"You—filthy—witch!" Vivi's eyes burned with fury.
"It's over, princess."
Mr. 5 stepped through the gunfire unscathed, brushing soot off his coat.
"Booger Bomb!"
With zero shame, he shoved a finger up his nose, dug around, and flicked a snot projectile straight at Vivi.
As a user of the Bomb-Bomb Fruit, any part of his body could explode—including, unfortunately, his snot.
"Nami!"
Reno's calm voice rang out.
"Cloud Wall!"
BOOM!!!
A thick wall of condensed clouds erupted from the ground, intercepting the incoming snot—and absorbing the blast in a thunderous explosion.
"Who even fights with their boogers?!"
Nami winced in disgust.
Thank goodness her skills were all long-range—she didn't want to get anywhere near this guy.
Mr. 5 squinted.
"Another Devil Fruit user?"
His tone dropped cold.
"This is Baroque Works business. I suggest you stay out of it."
Reno smiled lazily.
"Vivi's part of the Reno Pirates now. Her problems are ours. Nami—finish him."
Vivi's eyes widened.
Even though Reno often said things like that, hearing it right now, in this moment, was... unexpectedly touching.
"You're asking for it!"
Mr. 5 snarled.
"Air Bomb!"
He spat out a volatile orb of compressed air directly at Nami.
"Ugh! Boogers, bad breath—can you just disappear already?! GROSS!"
Nami grimaced.
"Lightning Storm!"
⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
Silver-white lightning rained from the sky, dozens of bolts crackling in every direction.
Mr. 5 had nowhere to run.
Nami had already locked onto him with her Observation Haki.
Wherever he moved, the lightning followed.
Electric tendrils whipped through the air like serpents, herding him into a deadly cage.
BOOM—CRACK—ZAP!
Bolt after bolt struck Mr. 5 until his body smoked like a roasted turkey.
His eyes rolled back, limbs twitching.
He was out cold.
And Nami wasn't done.
She casually sent one final bolt straight to his chest.
"Just making sure."
"Done and fried."
Nami dusted off her hands.
"That's what you get for being disgusting."
"Amazing!"
Kaya clapped gleefully.
"She's gotten so good at controlling her lightning!" Tashigi added with admiration.
"I have to work harder—I can't fall behind!"
"This… this isn't happening…"
Miss Valentine, just moments ago oozing confidence, was now frozen in horror.
Mr. 5 was her partner, one of Baroque Works' top agents—and he'd been obliterated in seconds.
That lightning power… what was that woman?
Nope. No way. Not sticking around for this.
She turned tail, floating up with her parasol.
"I'm out! Princess Vivi, enjoy your betrayal—when I get back, I'll report everything to the boss!"
"And you freaks—get ready to face Crocodile's wrath!"
She tried to vanish with flair.
But—
"Cloud Lock."
With a whisper, Reno summoned two pristine white chains from the clouds.
They shot into the sky like snakes and snared Miss Valentine's wrists.
"W-What?!"
She thrashed violently—but the more she struggled, the tighter they constricted.
Her flight path yanked into a sharp descent.
The chains vanished just before she hit the ground—
THUD!
She faceplanted into the dirt.
Reno stood over her, smirking.
"Who said you could leave?"
