Draped in his signature golden armor, Don Krieg roared into the restaurant, voice full of menace.
"You! Get 100 meals ready for my crew—now! Or else…"
He smirked viciously and hefted his massive battle spear, weighing over a ton, pointing it at the terrified chefs.
The threat was crystal clear.
But before anyone could move, a calm yet firm voice rang out from behind him.
"Hey. Who the hell are you? Move aside. You're blocking the way."
Krieg turned, frowning.
Who dares interrupt me?!
A young man and four women walked toward him casually.
"Who just said that?!" Krieg barked, eyes narrowing with disdain.
Bunch of nobodies think they can challenge me? What, they think they're Mihawk?!
"I did. What of it?" Nami shot back, hands on her hips, her gaze unwavering.
"Reno-oniichan, do you know this guy?" Kaya leaned close and asked softly.
Reno gave Krieg a passing glance and shrugged.
"That's Krieg. That wreck of a ship outside? It's his."
"Eh?!" The girls blinked in surprise—then their eyes gleamed with interest.
So this was East Blue's so-called "tyrant?"
What a joke.
Nami tilted her head.
"1600 million berries? That's just three-quarters of Arlong!"
Why's this guy acting so cocky?
"Little brat, since you know my name, how dare you—"
BZZZTT!
Before Krieg could finish, a thunder-charged spear was already pressed against his chest.
Nami glared.
"Get lost if you value your life. You're ruining our appetite."
Reno didn't even glance at Krieg as he walked past and chose a table.
The girls followed, calm as ever.
Guests inside the restaurant stiffened.
Something felt very wrong.
Krieg trembled with rage.
Humiliation.
Utter humiliation.
In East Blue, who would dare mock Krieg like this?
Unless Mihawk himself walked through that door—no one.
"You little punk… DIE!"
Krieg exploded, roaring as he swung his monstrous spear.
"Buzzkill," Nami muttered.
Her petite fist clenched.
CRACKLE!
A bolt of lightning streaked through her fingers, coiling into a devastating thunder spear.
With a flick, it shot forward, zapping through Krieg's entire body like a living serpent.
CRACKLE-CRACKLE-CRACKLE!!
Sparks flew.
His body shook violently.
Black smoke poured from his mouth as the giant spear clattered to the floor.
"You're just as annoying as Arlong."
SWOOSH!
A whirlwind lifted Krieg's body like a rag doll and hurled him a dozen meters through the air—straight into the ocean.
Splash!
…
The restaurant fell into stunned silence.
One shot.
The East Blue's self-proclaimed tyrant was one-shotted.
Eyes wide, jaws slack, everyone stared at Nami.
Finally, a trembling voice broke the silence.
"T-That's… Nami… the navigator of the Reno Pirates!"
A man held up a newspaper he'd just bought that morning, comparing it to the woman before him.
Orange hair. Lightning powers. Perfect match.
Which meant…
He turned, slowly, to the man calmly sipping tea across the room.
Reno.
The infamous captain himself.
"Oh… crap."
The man stood up in a panic—but Reno just raised a brow and said mildly:
"Relax. We're just here for food. Not looking for trouble."
He walked up to the man with the paper.
"Mind if I borrow this?"
The man nodded like a bobblehead.
Reno took the paper and returned to his seat.
The atmosphere slowly eased.
Most customers were pirates anyway—they'd seen wild things before.
Still, the idea that Reno and his crew were this close was enough to make anyone nervous.
But clearly, they weren't here to cause a scene.
They weren't Krieg.
"Fast response," Reno murmured, flipping through the paper.
A new bounty—issued already?
But as he scanned the wanted posters, his smile faded.
Noticing his mood shift, the girls leaned in.
There were only two posters.
Reno: Captain of the Reno Pirates. Suspected Cloud-Cloud Fruit user.
Bounty: 30 million berries
"Wow~ Reno-oniichan, you're so cool!" Kaya clapped, eyes sparkling.
"To have a 30 million bounty on your first poster is amazing," Makino agreed.
Even Nojiko nodded with pride.
"Where's mine?!" Nami suddenly blurted.
She was the one who defeated Arlong, damn it!
The others looked further down.
Nami: Navigator of the Reno Pirates. Suspected Rumble-Rumble Fruit user.
Bounty: 50 million berries
"FIFTY?!"
Nami stared at the paper, stunned.
"I have a higher bounty than the captain?!" she gasped, checking again and again.
A second later—hands on hips, eyes gleaming—she declared:
"From now on, you call me Boss Lady!"
Makino chuckled.
"Not often a crew member outranks the captain."
Kaya and Nojiko giggled, covering their mouths.
Reno's eye twitched.
Boss Lady? Seriously?
He smiled thinly.
"Oh? Then how about we... spar a little tonight?"
Nami froze like a cat with her tail stepped on.
"Nooo, nooo! Just kidding! You're the mighty Captain Reno, best in the world!" she backpedaled furiously.
"Let's just eat, I'm starving!"
She knew too well what "sparring" meant.
The others went silent too, afraid of provoking the nightly "lessons."
Seeing them yield, Reno let it slide and called for a waiter.
Soon, the table was piled high with delicacies.
Tonight, they'd feast like royalty.
