Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 4

(3rd pov)

It had been a few days since he had traveled far from the city. Now, whenever he looked outside, all he could see was an endless plain of grass. The road stretched straight into the horizon, perfect for the RV's auto-drive system to operate without issue. Over time, it had collected data from various road types and traffic patterns, learning so effectively that it could now handle even dense metropolitan traffic with ease.

In those past few days, he'd spent a lot of time contemplating everything—how it all happened, and what he was going to do about it. But honestly, he'd rather not think too much. Sure, he missed the people from his previous world, but there was nothing he could do about it now.

What mattered most was survival, figuring out how to live in this new universe. Back in his original world, he was a university student, thriving in the comfort of a chosen academic path. But now, he'd been dropped into this world with nothing but a high school diploma. Apparently, the version of him that existed here wasn't a fan of university. Growing up in a small town in the U.S., this world's version of him had chosen to skip college and jump straight into the workforce.

Perhaps the early loss of his family in this world had pushed him to leave that small town behind and explore the country while freelancing to fund his journey. The idea of exploring made sense to him. But the thought of leaving everything behind with nothing to his name but a bit of savings, an RV, and a laptop was bold. Admirable, even. He could only be amazed by it. His original self had always preferred the comfort zone, even if he had recently started stepping out of it.

Now, as both versions of himself had seemingly merged into one, all he could feel was a blazing fire of determination. Living freely, working toward becoming the best version of himself—it filled him with a sense of purpose. He wasn't going to let that go to waste.

With a renewed sense of drive, he quickly opened his laptop and started a new project. An idea had popped into his head just moments ago, sparked by a single word. It was a game—one he believed many people would enjoy, just as they had in his former world.

The word that inspired the game?

"Determination"

"Ughhhhh," he groaned, standing up from his seat. He had spent the entire evening working on the game. starting from when the sun blazed high in the sky to now, as it dipped low, casting a beautiful hue across the horizon.

The RV had parked itself on the roadside. He climbed up onto its roof, drink in hand, to enjoy the sunset. This had become something of a ritual over the past few days—ever since he discovered how stunning the sunsets could be. They hadn't disappointed him yet.

This part of the day was break time. Time to stretch, get some exercise in before diving into training. Greymatter had created a personalized workout regimen, and it took him about 30 minutes to complete it.

Then came the exciting part: alien transformation training.

He had been experimenting with different aliens from the Omnitrix, each offering unique and powerful skills. Training with them was essential, he needed to get familiar with their abilities so he could fully utilize them if it was needed.

Or rather when he needed them.

Tonight, he was especially excited.

It was time to train with XLR8.

A green flash can be seen before a blur could be speeding through the straight road

Rafael has been working on a wristwatch speedometer as greymatter and looking at it he has accelerate 0 - 100 km/h in 1 second and it keep on going up 150 - 200 - 250 - 300

The air was whistling through his body, the way that speed affects him excites him, not really sure that it's the human side of him or Kineceleran that he is now.

His feet that are now more like a roller skate glide through the road

The blur could be seen taking a sharp turn now down through the grass plain dirt, the blur could be seen stumbling a little bit before stabilizing.

The feeling of running through concrete road and grass plain is such a different feeling but the way that he adapt is what he want to adapt to, so he can run in any condition now at the grass plain his speed drop to 250 'for now that's acceptable'

He spends half an hour running around the field before he decides to turn back to the rv, this back few days that he has been experimenting with the omnitrix he found that omnitrix transformation can be done in the range of 15 minutes and up to 3 hours.

Yesterday he spent around 3 hours as Greymatter but when he uses diamondhead the transformation period drops to only 15 minutes. Well the way he uses it will also matter.

Now he is lazing around in front his rv he brought out some chair and table he decided to have today dinner outside, the night sky in the wilderness is such a beauty

Without light pollution the star and galaxy can be seen in the canvas that is the sky, he slurp the spaghetti that he is having for dinner, some sauce can be seen dropping in the table but it doesn't bother him

His eyes is transfixed to the sky, to the countless star that spread through it and the void of space in between them the last frontier some human says about space, the feeling of longing of space travel has always been deep in his hearth

Of course with movies like Interstellar and the Star Wars franchise as his favorite who would not dream of space travel, at that moment he promised himself that he would explore space and what it offers.

Then, as if the universe heard him, the sky lit up—dozens of streaks arcing across the darkness.

"A meteor shower…" he murmured, the words barely escaping his lips.

Just as the promise settled in his chest, one of the streaks grew brighter—too bright. His eyes tracked it, moving from the right side of the sky to the left. A fiery trail followed behind, but something was wrong—it wasn't burning up like a meteor.

it was staying intact.

A spaceship? A pod? It could be anything.

Then, a flash of green light.

In the blink of an eye, where he once stood, an alien with a blue cape now stood tall. He didn't hesitate. The "cape" unfurled, revealing a pair of blue wings.

A gust of wind knock over the chair as he take of to catch up to the what can be declared as a UFO

Big Chill sliced through the air effortlessly, wind whistling past as he rapidly gained on the object. As he closed in, the image sharpened, it was a pod.

It looked like a one person vessel, possibly an emergency escape unit. Its size suggested whoever was inside would be lying down, likely in cryosleep if it was meant for long distance travel.

A cold breath escaped Big Chill's mouth, extinguishing the flames licking the pod's surface. He reached out and grabbed it, wings flaring wide. His muscles tensed as he grunted, doing everything he could to slow it down and guide it to a safe landing.

Crash!

The pod touched the ground, carving a long line into the dirt, but it had slowed enough to avoid destruction.

Now back in human form, Rafael stood beside the pod, massaging his sore arms. He approached it slowly, eyes scanning the vessel.

His fingers ran across its cold metal surface

His hand glide through the metal that are cold, before he could do much the pod door ejected to the sky before dropping no far from the crash not far

He glanced toward it for a moment, before it come back to the ship

The pupil of his eyes widen, and in a moment of shock his omnitrix beeped , the green dial turned yellow
