Jenny waits with the boys at the entrance of the swimming pool. A little later Diede and Jane arrive. Raf is still too late of the three. Zack and Yowie are the big problem. Jane wants to be nice but if nothing comes from their side then she doesn't know how to handle it. Jenny and Jane are sitting on the edge of the pool, chatting a bit. Raf comes swimming towards them: "Is it normal if I pay for their ticket they completely ignore us?" "I think so." Jenny mumbles. "But seriously, when I say something, they don't even respond to it." Raf thinks this is disrespectful. "It's not the golden numbers." Jane sighs. "You can say that, yes." Jenny looks down: "I'll walk over to say something about it." Zack is already gossiping full on: "Jane has really done such nasty things." Diede nods, she doesn't like to gossip about people but she also wants to belong. "Why does she give me such strength if I hate people at all?!" Yowie hopes it's not on purpose but thinks so. Zack doesn't really want to gossip about Jane either, but he wants to stand out to Yowie. "Is it really that annoying?" Diede asks. Then Jenny's group is shocked: "It's not so nice when someone takes you to the pool and also pays your ticket to be mean. You ignore us and gossip hard about my best friend." "I wouldn't even have wanted to go." Yowie mumbles. Jenny gets so angry: "Then you won't go from now on." "That's the plan for next time." Zack chuckles. Jenny walks to the toilet. A little later, Raf can't find Jenny anywhere, but he knows where she could be. When he knows, Raf knocks on the toilet. He looks at the colorful ceiling. "Are you okay?" He asks worriedly. "No." Raf can already hear from the tears in Jenny's voice that it's not okay at all. "Would you like to talk for a while?" Raf asks. "Not here." Jenny answers briefly and with stress. Then Raf makes the choice: "Come on, let's go to my house." "Won't Jane get angry if we leave her alone?" Jenny asks with still tears. "She's going to understand." Raf slides a bag with Jenny's hair under the wide opening. "I'm going to change, I'll see you at the exit."
"Hey, why don't you come and sit with us?" Diede stands next to Jane. "Raf and Jenny will probably be back soon." Jane has hope in her voice. It takes so long! "They've gone home." Diede doesn't want to leave Jane alone now. "Why don't they say anything?" Jane gets tears in her eyes. She tries not to cry because then she feels so stupid. Even they don't take her into account! "Because they are Idiots." Zack sits down next to Jane. Yowie stays on the other side of the pool. He doesn't want to sit with a Bully. "By the way, I have another story about a bath duck." Zack wants to make it a bit cozier and stands up with a broad grin. "No bombs!" Diede angrily points to the control board." Zack pushes Jane aside with his foot: "Rules are like a game. You have to break them without getting into trouble." "Stupid game." Sighs Diede and then Zack jumps into the water. There is immediately whistled by the lifeguard but also laughter. Then Zack starts splashing at Jane. "I've got mascara on!" Jane shouts loudly: "Stop, st..." Zack stops and taps Jane's nose: "Rest, you have such a loud voice." "Zack." Yowie is standing along the edge. "Is my voice so loud?" Jane laughs. "Quite a bit." Zack laughs. "Zack!" Repeated Yowie. "By the way, I'm quite handsome, too bad I'm bisexual!" Yowie rolls his eyes and Diede notices that he wants to say something. "I have a crush on a boy." Zack whispers in Jane's ear. "ZACK!" Yowie shouts. Zack looks back in horror. "I'm going home." Yowie says irritated and leaves. "At least he does indicate it." Diede laughs. Zack can't laugh about it, he's disappointed in himself. Having fun can lead to nasty things! Jane goes to change. She opens her locker very carefully with the hope that no one will see. She hides in a changing room. Luckily her book is still in her bag. She leafs through it. She has collected photos on her plan. She can't control the monsters... But the world and the people do. She is relieved when nothing has been torn out. With this booklet she knows exactly how to save this world. Not just this world. She had to protect them all from the monsters. This whole world. This book is safe! Plus the world back home.
Jenny explains with tears about the traumas that came again and how sorry she is that everything is against Jane. Raf tries to make her feel at ease as soon as possible: "Don't worry, they're suckers! You've seen that a long time ago, haven't you?" Jenny nods: "That's right, but I still can't deal with it yet. Your bed is big." "That's right" Raf feels something proud: "I have a lot of money because of my strength. That's why such beautiful stuff! I can give you a lot when this hassle is over." "Hassle?" Jenny doesn't get it. Raf feels guilty again. She had to keep this secret from Jane. He is a good friend! He is good at keeping a secret! Also for his girlfriend? "There will be a monster Apocalypse. They are Meninkens, monsters with powers." Raf feels a lot nicer to tell it: "Nobody knows when they will come... I don't want to scare you!" "I get it." Jenny blushes: "Sweet of you to tell me! Also very brave of you." Raf gets that nice feeling again and leans closer to Jenny. He touches her lips and a small kiss comes. Raf knows that Jenny doesn't like to kiss so he wants to take it easy. Everything to make her feel as comfortable as possible. "You probably want to kiss." Jenny has a disappointment in her voice. "Actually, yes..." Raf says carefully. Then Jenny crawls over to Raf. She opens her mouth and tries to kiss as best she can. She wants to do something for Raf so badly! Now she does something for him! That feels super good!
"I heard that you had gone home without saying anything." Jane feels disappointed. "Why?" Her tears want to roll down her cheeks but she holds back. "I thought you'd understand." Raf doesn't want to make Jane sad. "Now you know what it's like Jane." Yowie gives Jane a hard push in the schoolyard. "You don't have to push me. I've known for a long time that you hate me." Jane mumbles. "Yowie, shall we not make a big fight out of this?" Zack comes to stand in front of Jane: "I want us to all be friends." "I don't think that's possible." Jordi adds. "I'm sure you can." Zack looks irritated at Jordi. "Some people do and don't click with each other and this just doesn't click." Jordi sighs. "I would like to try it too..." Jane hesitates in her next words: "But not with Raf and Jenny anymore if it has to be that way." Jenny sighs and walks away irritated. "Zack, I have to tell you something." Jane starts crying out of nowhere. Zack takes Jane to a quiet room. Jane stumbles between a few tables and then cries even harder. Then she begins to tell: "Between every great forest lies another world or era. There will be a Meninken Apocalypse. Monsters that can take on human forms and thus destroy the world. The monsters are tall and have sewn-up faces. But if the rope slips off their mouths, you have to get away. An octopus arm comes out with sharp spines. I have deliberately ruled the world with my strength with the hope of survival, but I don't do that anymore. There are eight phases. We have already had the first phase, which is the number one that wants to spread the children through different eras and worlds. Number one is also a Meninken. We don't notice the second Phase, but it has already taken place. Then all the dead come to life, that happened last night at 00:00, they are now also monsters. Phase three is a small storm compared to one that we are yet to get. Phase four is a severe virus that kills many people. Phase five is the most violent storm our universe will get. Phase six is the monster outbreak that comes towards the end of phase five. In phase seven it gets so hot that we burn ourselves to death and phase eight is death. We can prevent it with time travel, but then it can still come after us. I can't control the monsters because they don't come from this universe. Just like I can't control the phases." Zack also has to cry: "What should we do?" Jane answers: "Don't scare people by telling the truth and get everything you have out of it." Zack nods. He's scared, super scared. How is he ever going to survive this? One thing he did know for sure! He needs to tell Yowie his feelings before it's too late.
In the hallway there is talk about the winners for the cheerleading team. Yowie congratulates Nancy and Jenny on the win. Zack stands on trembling legs past Yowie. "Meet this afternoon?" He asks with a tremor in his voice. Yowie nods: "Sure! Did you cry?" "My cat died." Lies Zack. "Are you okay?" Says Yowie worriedly. Zack nods. Jane looks back and smiles at the two boys. At least then something nice happens before she dies.
Zack looks outside and Yowie makes hot chocolate and then looks outside: "After a few sunny days, this storm is desperately needed." Zack looks outside and is startled. Could this be the third phase? The wind is blowing hard and branches of trees are falling down. You can hardly see anything because of the rain and hail. Then it also starts to thunder terribly. "It's good that there are no tornadoes here." Zack giggles. "You never know, do you?" Yowie multiplies. He puts the hot chocolate on the table, his second version grabs a blanket. Then he becomes one again. "Are you using your power anyway?" Zack asks. "I don't get any new strength anyway. It is handy. Especially now that I'm cold." Answer Yowie. "I like you." Zack tries to talk as fast as possible. This is actually so stupid out of nowhere! Zack also looks away right away. Yowie leans towards Zack. "I didn't expect this." Yowie takes his hand: "When I think about it like that, I like you too." Zack doesn't know how he feels. It is a joy, relief but also emotional. He did not expect this! Yowie crawls to Zack. He wraps the other side of the blanket around him and cuddles it over his shoulder. Then they give each other a small kiss.
Jane is sitting on the bed with her official plan. Is she going to throw the plan away? Is she going to keep it? It makes her so gloomy. Watching it while the third phase is going on hurts. Quite a lot of pain! She plays with the pages of the book. Then she looks at the drawer. 8's plan b. The wooden box was painted pastel purple on top. With sloppy pastel blue letters 8's plan b on it. She opens the box. A digital alarm clock. Not just any alarm clock... It is a time-rising alarm clock. Valid for one person. She sighs and claps with the lid of the box. Jane knows Zack is with Yowie and doesn't want to ruin their moment. Yet this is important for the last survivor. She calls Zack, how she hates the sound of waiting for an answer. "Zack doesn't answer. " Call back later." Jane sighs deeply. This is an emergency! No great need but still need! Nice phase three also stops. Then the first sick people would fall tonight. Jane hates that idea. She hopes not to be one of the sick. Or someone else from their group. Her phone rings, finally. Zack immediately starts talking: "Hello Jane. I'm on speaker with Yowie. Is that bad?" Jane rolls her eyes. It's about the end of the world. Of course, the speaker is no good! "It's about this afternoon." Jane picks at her pink nails in irritation. "I already know." Yowie's voice sounds. Can Zack really not keep his mouth shut!? Jane gets irritated: "I'll give you a box with plan b on it tomorrow. The last person who survives can then live. I'll explain the rest tomorrow." "That's good." Zack says cheerfully and Jane hangs up.
The next morning, Jordi crawls to his feet. He looks confused at the ground: "Are you puking purple?" "Not funny." Diede mumbles. "Can I take care of you?" Jordi asks carefully. Diede looks blurred at Jordi: "Do you have a bucket?" Jordi walks downstairs to get a bucket. What's wrong with his girl? Then the doorbell rings at five o'clock in the morning. He knows for sure. This is such a strange time! He doesn't trust the person standing at the door.
