Chapter 10 - “First kiss”

Farmhouse, Night Time

Jin Yue, restless, was clutching the bedsheet tightly in his fists, tossing and turning, sobbing as he muttered, "I… I… didn't do anything… Please, let me go." As he said this, his breathing became heavy, and seeing this, Liang Feng's expression turned cold. He quickly walked over to Jin Yue, grabbed his hand, pulled him close, and said, "Jin Yue, open your eyes," while touching his forehead.

He felt as if he had touched something burning hot. Feeling this, Liang Feng quickly unbuttoned Jin Yue's shirt and wiped his sweat with a towel, saying, "Hey! Open your eyes, what's wrong with you?"

Jin Yue, still restless, gripped Liang Feng's shirt tightly and muttered in a low voice, "St… stay… away from me," trying to push him away.

Liang Feng, who was staring at his face, gently stroked his cheek and thought, "He's already in so much pain, what more pain can I give him? And I don't even know what exactly is hurting him, that he's panicking like this in his sleep." Saying this, Liang Feng picked up his phone from the table and called Zhao Min.

The call was answered in a single ring. Zhao Min said, "Hmm, what happened?"

Liang Feng replied, "If someone has a fever, how should you take care of them?"

Zhao Min replied, "You called me this late just to ask that? What happened, are you okay? If you can tell me, then do, otherwise I'm hanging up."

Liang Feng, in a cold, emotionless voice, said nothing. Zhao Min, already irritated, said, "Maybe you're forgetting, but I didn't call you this late—you called me. If you want to hang up without listening to the answer, it's your wish."

Hearing this, Liang Feng clenched his fist and said, "Fine, I called you this late, so can you tell me now?"

"That is simple. Just put a cold compress on him and give him medicine. He'll feel better by morning. And this is much easier than killing someone, so next time—" Before Zhao Min could finish, Liang Feng hung up. After a while, Liang Feng gently held Jin Yue by the waist, rested his head on his chest, and began to remove his T-shirt to tend to him.

He thought to himself, "Ever since he came here, I've had to take care of him. And how weak is this boy—he just keeps crying about everything." Covering Jin Yue with a blanket, he said, "Jin Yue, open your eyes and take your medicine."

Slowly, Jin Yue opened his eyes, looked around, and said, "I'm feeling dizzy."

Liang Feng helped him sit up and said, "Wait, put your T-shirt on first." Then, in a low voice, he added, "And hurry up, or I might not be able to control myself anymore, even if you ask me to stop." He helped him get dressed.

Half-opening his eyes, Jin Yue said, "I'm hungry."

Liang Feng grabbed his jaw and said coldly, "I'm not your servant to follow your orders. If you want to take your medicine, do it. Otherwise, just go to sleep." He stopped and looked at Jin Yue, whose eyes were already filled with tears.

Liang Feng looked at him and said, "I don't do anything for free. If you want to eat something, tell me what I'll get in return."

Jin Yue replied, "Just bring me food today, and tomorrow I'll bring it for you."

"There's no shortage of servants at my farmhouse. There are so many that even if I gave each one a different job, there would still be plenty left. So I don't think I'll agree to this." Liang Feng tightened his grip around Jin Yue's waist.

Jin Yue said, "Then what do I have to do for you?"

"You tell me, what can you give me in return?" Liang Feng lifted his chin and asked coldly.

Jin Yue, gripping his shirt tightly, said, "I don't know, you tell me—I'll do it."

At this, Liang Feng pushed Jin Yue onto the bed, pinned both his hands down, and said, "If you want me to tell you what to do, then kiss me right now."

Jin Yue froze and tried to push him away, saying, "What are you saying? Why should I kiss you?"

Liang Feng looked at him expressionlessly and said, "You just said you'd do whatever I want. So this is what I want—kiss me. Now tell me, will you kiss me?"

Jin Yue tried to move away and said, "Yes, I said that, but—"

Before he could finish, Liang Feng said, "If you have a problem with kissing, then it's okay. I will kiss you, candy."

Hearing this, Jin Yue quickly shook his head and said, "No, I won't kiss you, and I—"

Before he could finish, Liang Feng pressed his hard lips against Jin Yue's soft, pink lips.

As Liang Feng kissed him, Jin Yue's eyes widened. He tried to push him away, saying, "Please leave me. What are you doing? I told you to stay away from me." A sob escaped him, and his grip on Liang Feng's shoulder tightened. Liang Feng, sucking the blood from the corner of Jin Yue's lips, said coldly, "Of course I'll move away from you, because I have no interest in being close to you either."

Jin Yue pushed him away angrily and said, "If you don't want to be close to me, then why did you kiss me without my consent?" Tears welled up in his blue eyes as he lowered his gaze. Liang Feng grabbed his hand and pulled him close, saying, "Remember, think before you speak in front of me. And you just said I could take whatever I want from you."

"So right now, I wanted to kiss you, so I did."

Jin Yue replied, "But this is wrong. You can't kiss me without my consent."

"Why can't I?" Liang Feng said, gripping his waist.

"Because you mean nothing to me, and I wanted my first kiss to be with my life partner."

As Jin Yue said this, his grip on the bedsheet tightened. Liang Feng pushed him onto the bed and said coldly, "What did you say? Say it again."

"I just meant that you—ahhh—" Before Jin Yue could finish, Liang Feng gripped his jaw tightly and said, "Do you really think you'll ever need a life partner while I'm here? Because I don't think so. I'll make sure you never experience anyone else's love. You'll only feel the pain I give you, and you'll move forward in life with that pain. Understood?"

His grip on Jin Yue's cheek tightened. Jin Yue whimpered in pain and said, "But… but… I really don't know you, so why are you doing this to me?"

"Oh, really? Then tell me, what do you want to know about me?"

Jin Yue replied, "No, I don't want to know anything. Just let me go."

Liang Feng smirked and said, "That's not going to happen."Now you'll spend your whole life here, whether you cry or smile—it's up to you." Saying this, he left the room.

As soon as he left, Jin Yue dropped to his knees on the floor. Tears fell from his eyes onto the floor, but he said nothing. He sat in silence, staring at the door. Meanwhile, Liang Feng, expressionless, walked quickly to the kitchen to look for food for Jin Yue.

But since the servants hadn't cooked anything that night, Liang Feng clenched his fist in frustration and started to leave. Just then, a voice called out, "Where are you going so late at night?"

"Go to your room. I don't want to talk to you." Liang Feng said coldly, heading out again.

Wei Zhen quickly stood in front of him and said, "Hey, at least tell me what happened and where you're going so late at night."

Liang Feng just stared at him, giving him a cold warning to move aside. After a moment, he said, "I'm going to the back side of the farmhouse."

Wei Zhen quickly asked, "Are you going to kill someone again in the middle of the night?"

"Stop your nonsense and get out of my way."

Wei Zhen, realizing that one more question might get him thrown out, watched as Liang Feng gritted his teeth and said, "I'm not going to kill anyone. I'm calling the servants so they can come and cook."

Wei Zhen said, "Then why don't you just say you're hungry? If you're hungry, just order something from outside."

Liang Feng grabbed his neck and said, "Did I ask for your advice? I'm not giving him outside food."

Wei Zhen tried to push him away and said, "Are you talking about Jin Yue? What happened to him?"

Liang Feng let go and said, "He has a fever, so I don't want him to eat outside food. It's better for him. I don't want anything to happen to him so soon."

"Are you saying this out of fear of losing him, or because you want to hurt him?"

Liang Feng replied, "I'm not interested in answering any more of your questions." He started to leave, but Wei Zhen headed to the kitchen and said, "You stay here. I'll make something for him in a bit."

Hearing this, Liang Feng's expression changed. He followed Wei Zhen and said, "How many times have I told you, you don't need to worry about him. I'm here to take care of him."

Wei Zhen, placing the vegetables on the counter, said, "Don't worry, I'll never take him away from you. Besides, he called me 'brother,' so I think I can at least do this much for him."

Still, Liang Feng pushed him aside and said coldly, "If you're done, you can leave now. I won't say it again."

Wei Zhen left, and Liang Feng started chopping vegetables to make soup. Suddenly, he heard a loud crash behind him.

He turned quickly to see Jin Yue had fallen straight down the stairs, blood pouring from his head. Liang Feng's heart stopped. He rushed to Jin Yue, picked him up in his arms, and said, "Jin Yue… Jin… are you okay?" His voice trembled.

He quickly opened the first aid box and began cleaning Jin Yue's face with cotton. Jin Yue's eyes were closed, his face pale. Liang Feng said, "You'll never stop your antics, will you? I left you in your room, so who told you to come here?" His grip on Jin Yue tightened.

He sat on the sofa with Jin Yue, cleaned his face, and bandaged his forehead. About 30 minutes later, Jin Yue sat quietly with his head bowed. Liang Feng placed soup in front of him and said, "I won't say anything to you right now, or you'll start crying again. But remember, I won't let you go so easily."

Jin Yue looked up at him. Liang Feng gestured for him to drink the soup and said, "Finish this first, then we'll talk."

Jin Yue replied, "I don't want anything."

Liang Feng stared at him without any expression, then sat closer and said, "Do you really think I'm so free, Candy, that I did all this for you in the middle of the night and now you refuse to eat? Hmm?"

Jin Yue lowered his gaze and said, "It hurts. It really hurts." A tear fell from his eye onto Liang Feng's hand.

Liang Feng looked at him and reached out, but Jin Yue pulled his hand back and said, "That's good—it hurts. Now you'll realize that not listening to me can lead to so much happening to you."

"I'm going upstairs," Jin Yue said, standing up. But once again, his steps faltered, and before he could fall, Liang Feng caught him by the waist and said coldly, "Jin Yue, that's enough. Stop this carelessness right now, or even I don't know what I'll do to you."

He sat Jin Yue in his lap, offered him a spoonful of soup, and Jin Yue, pointing to his shoulder, said, "Can I rest my head here? I'm feeling dizzy."

Liang Feng thought to himself, "Hmm, do whatever you want. I never stopped you."

Jin Yue asked again, "Are you listening?"

Liang Feng pressed Jin Yue's head to his chest and said, "I think this position is better."

Jin Yue looked at him and said, "You kissed me without my consent, so you should have made something nice for me. Why just soup?"

Liang Feng replied, "What I did for you is enough. I've never even fetched water for myself before."

Jin Yue gripped his shirt tightly and said, "Now you'll never kiss me again."

Liang Feng's hands froze, and he looked at Jin Yue, making cold sweat break out on Jin Yue's forehead. Liang Feng put his arm around Jin Yue's waist and said, "You said I kissed you without your consent, but I told you your consent means nothing to me. I'll kiss you whenever I want."

"If it all depends on your wish, do you kiss everyone just to satisfy yourself?"

Hearing this, Liang Feng's expression turned cold.
