The peaceful atmosphere in the room didn't last long.
The door slammed open without warning, and a very loud voice followed right after.
"Oh? What's this? The whole family's here!"
Nina flinched in her bed while Luna turned around slowly, her expression flat. Leo looked up from where he was leaning against the wall, already scowling.
Seigfried stood in the doorway with both hands in his pockets, pretending to be surprised, though the smugness in his eyes gave him away.
"Didn't expect to see all three of you in one place. Touching."
Leo ran a hand down his face.
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to visit Nina, of course. And maybe, possibly… ask a favor."
Leo narrowed his eyes.
"You came here to ask a favor? Of me?"
"Well, I didn't know you'd all be here. But since you are…"
Seigfried's grin grew wider.
"No. "Whatever it is, I don't care. I'm taking time off. You already signed the paperwork."
Leo shut him down before he could even start.
