Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 - Dreams Crushed

Izuku was seen walking through a tunnel with his hands in his pockets. His chest started feeling hotter at the moment. But before, his chest was rapidly getting hotter when confronting Katsuki.

And no, it was not love.

It was a hot feeling when he felt he was going to get into a fight. And he has been trying to fight back against them for quite a while. Maybe it was when Izumi said those words back then 3 years back that, he finally got his wakeup call and began fighting back.

At first, it was all for nought. No changes had occurred when he first tried raising his voice because by the end of the day he was walking back home with bruises, burn marks and frostbites all over his body.

That was the beginning though. 3 years since then and his body started building almost a resistance to the fire, the cold and became sturdier.

Like his body did not want him to fail, it kept adapting to the conditions and situations he was in.

Anyways, back to the hot feeling.

'Was it like a self hatred?' he recalled.

Like he couldn't help but feel disgusted with himself. Why was it all he could do? Why couldn't he do more when he's tried so hard to fight back?

'An inferiority complex?' he pondered. 'Was it starting to take over in the situation that I would lose in a 1v5...to the point where I would get a boost of adrenaline...?'

Izuku by all means was smart. He knew about some of the biological processes in the body. Most importantly how adrenaline is produced.

It was a series of pathways starting from sensing the threat. An environmental stimuli which placed him under high stress. It would send a neuronal message all the way to his brain and to the hypothalamus, located in the brain.

This sends a series of impulses to the adrenal glands to which, there would release the hormone adrenaline.

He was also sincerely confused. When blood rushes to the muscles rapidly like this, the skin was meant to feeler cooler due to vasoconstriction. It's where the body diverts blood away from thee skin and the digestive organs towards the muscles, the heart and to the lungs. It was a peripheral vasoconstriction.

Making the skin feel cool.

But yet it didn't. It did the exact opposite. He didn't know what this meant.

Now although they didn't try anything, Katsuki was about to attack him. Keyword 'about'.

So he didn't attack him. And yet he could feel the adrenaline bottling up in the course to fight back.

'It couldn't be...?' he frowned at the speculation that it could be a quirk.

He did have time to think as he paused and turned to see a new situation arising. He noticed a manhole with green slime coming out of it.

He would've ran if not for the slime catching him by the leg and capturing him as the slime started to enter his mouth preventing him from screaming or alerting others.

Izuku's heart beated rapidly as the slime talked sweetly despite him about to kill a 15 year old child,"Calm down, it'll only hurt for a few seconds. and you'll feel well soon."

Izuku thrashed around his heart beating and fighting faster. A red light was starting to form around his chest, but none of them noticed. The slime took note that inside the child's body it started to become warmer, but he didn't mind it at all.

"After all, you're my hero!"

'Hero...?...HERO?!' his mind screamed in fury as his body was now boiling and fighting.

The blood inside his body moved faster and faster. The hormonal messages that usually took slower time to get around the body than neuronal messages, became even faster than neuron messages.

As the blood become faster, so did the surface of his skin burn hotter. Blood rushing and to his muscles and tissues became faster as this in turn made his skin burn hotter.

The Slime Villain screeched out in agony as his tentacle like arms was getting burned inside his body and the surrounding edges along the skin of the kid was burning hotter than the Sun. He moved away from him and kept his guard up.

However that wasn't what scared him. What he saw that made his slime like body was in essence anger.

Rage unfiltered.

As though the rage of every living being had been poured into one person.

He couldn't make it out but behind his shirt he saw an ingrain in his chest almost like a symbol burning bright and red.

He breathed heavily as he trudged slowly towards the sludge villain. He didn't say anything. He didn't need to.

All he felt was the need to...

Rip.

And.

Tear.

"G-Get away?! N-No don't come closer!" the sloppy sludge exclaimed out of fear.

Just when Izuku was about to reach to shred him apart instinctually, fate had other plans.

The sludge villain was saved when a man standing well above him, with blonde hair in the shape of a rabbit, stood menacingly.

"S-Sav—"

"Fear not citizen, I am here!" he exclaimed as he cocked his fist back at the terrified villain?

"Take this evildoer. TEXASSS SMASH!"

The ground trembled as All Might launched his fist forward with an Earth-shattering force. The sludge villain, who was once terrified of the kid was thankful of being caught by All Might and sent flying bakwards into the side of the tunnel, its body splattering across the walls before collapsing into a heap. The impact left a crater in the pavement, and the air was filled with the sound of debris settling.

Izuku who once saw red was startled by the attack and caught off guard by the sheer power of the attack, but slowly calmed down as the rush he was in slowly stopped, bringing him back to a neutral state.

He turned and froze a little, with his eyes widening in a little disbelief. For as much as he didn't like heroes, he always did respect All Might and wasn't the number one for nothing. He watched as All Might captured the villain in the soda bottle.

All Might twisted the cap on the soda bottle, trapping the sludge villain inside and inspecting the bottle with a satisfied grin, he fist bumped the air,"There we go! Another jobdone," he exclaimed to himself. He looked back and his eyes also widen as he stared at his young son, who was also staring at him silently with wide eyes.

"Izuku? What is he doing here? My goodness thank the lord I got here in time. he wouldn't have been able to defendhimself," he sighed his head as he walked to him.

"Young man, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?" he spoke with the grin stuck on his face.

"Yes...sir, I'm fine..." Izuku spoke dazed a little. He isn't lying when his adrenaline was pumping very very hard right now and seeing All Might didn't really help either. Although it should've.

"That is splendid young man, you seem to want my autograph don't you?" he asked leaning down to him assuming that his son would want his autograph after seeing the dazed look in his face.

Even though he didn't particularly like heroes just as much as he didn't like villains, come on.

It's All Might. He could probably sell it for good money if he found the right buyer. But All might was still the greatest hero he's seen.

Izuku hesitated but nodded,"Yes, sir," picking up his bag from the ground and taking out his notepad of hero analysis.

Yes you see it. A Hero analysis notepad. Now taking notes like this was a spare time thing for him. He didn't like heroes, but he still wanted to see what the superpowers they had could be used and utilised. His brain would work to the max after watching heroes fighting in his spare time with villains and see what these quirks could do in the best possible situations.

All Might flipped through Izuku's notepad and a faint glimmer of surprise had crossed his face. The pages were filled to the max with meticulous notes, sketched and detailed diagrams of analysing quirks as well as battle tactics.

"T-This is quite impressive, young man," All might spoke, his voice with a tinge of geniune admiration for his son's intellect,"You've done a splendid job with all this."

Izuku shifted a little trying to lean back on a wall to catch his breathe,"Thank you..." he said quietly, gazing at All Might as he signed his autograph across a blank page.

Izuku suddenly saw on opportunity to ask him the question,"All Might, I have a question to ask you."

He wanted to know the number one hero's stance on quirkless people. After all, he's different from other heroes he's met in the past. They all didn't particularly care for quirkless people but All Might must do...right?

All Might tensed a little as a small sweat formed on his forehead. He knew what question Izuku would ask as he already thought about it.

He once thought of giving his quirk One for All to him and train him to become a great hero. After all, he too was once quirkless. However, his heroic side had told him that Izuku was not as heroic as he wanted his son to be. He received several complaints from teachers and others that Izuku was engaging in fights and irregular involvement in school activities.

He knew his son was intellectual but his fatherly side took over when he also heard he got into fights with his sister for being jealous of their quirks even though he didn't have one.

He wasn't like this when he was younger so why was Izuku acting jealous?

Izuku gazed up a little at him,"All Might, supposedly I didn't have a quirk...is it possible for me to be a hero?...could I save people...with a smile..." Izuku looked up even more with a tiny little glint of hope,"...like you?"

"..."

There was a silence. An uncomfortable one. Izuku waited for the answer as All Might braced himself for providing a tough heartbreaking answer. All Might began as his voice with a small speck of sadness.

"Without a quirk? The answer to your question is no."

"...I knew it." Izuku thought as his frown deepened and gazed down to the ground. A tiny piece of him finally broke. All Might continued without noticing or he probably did but didn't mention it.

"Being a Hero is a dangerous job and most villains can't be beaten without powers. It will only cause trouble if a quirkless hero were to interfere with the villain fights...so..." All Might paused as he he glanced to the side unable to bare his son who looked like he was about to breakdown,"...no, I don't think you could become a hero without a quirk. If you do wish to help people then become a police officer, or a medic. But...please leave the life-risking jobs to the people with the power to handle it."

For once, Izuku finally had gotten a tiny little hope that the number one hero would say that he could be a hero in his own right.

'What a fool I was...' he thought with half-lidded eyes.

All Might ended it off albeit with hesitation,"It's alright to have dreams...just make sure those dreams are attainable," he spoke with a another dropped hint of regret.

Izuku nodded as he bit the inside of his mouth a little,"...I see."

All Might raised his eyebrows with sadness and regret as he heard his son's short response but was confused when he continued.

"...I had a friend who was quirkless. Everyone around him had kept repeating that he couldn't be a hero," Izuku spoke with pursed lips.

All Might's eyes widen as he knew Izuku was talking about himself. What did he mean by that?

"I thought...that by getting the number one hero's answer, he would be different from everyone else...but...your just the same as everyone else," he muttered under his breathe but All Might heard clearly due to his heightened senses with One for All.

His eyes widen with pure sadness as he saw Izuku look back up to him with a small smile, however that was anything but a sincere one. It was a smile filled with the expression that he was finally done...

'I'm so sorry Izuku...'

Izuku smiled not wanting to continue this any further,"Alright sir, I'll let you take the villain to the appropriate authories and be on my way," he said as he turned away from him.

As Izuku his turned back and walked away, All Might was a statue caught in headlights staring in pure sorrow as he crushed his son's supposed final hope to becoming a hero.

He reached out to try and grab him but he couldn't move. Was it out of guilt? Was it for not noticing his son's hurting?

He also noticed his son's of which he said his name.

'All Might.'

It was so...monotonous. Hearing him say it in such a tone he felt something pierce him. Whenever the crowd chanted him name and the mass adored him, it filled him with happiness he knew no bounds.

That happiness that knew no bounds was overtaken by a single way his son spoke it. It was filled with almost little to nothing.

He shook his thoughts and proceeded to the police station to hand in the sludge villain.

Not realising, the bottle slipped from his pants.

WITH IZUKU

He sighed as he looked up a little to the sky whilst walking to God knows where.

He just hoped he had answered differently than everyone else. But once again the same answer as always. This answer was from none other than the number one hero.

Realistically what can he do?

What can he do?

That was the strongest being in the world that said no to him.

'Talk about never meeting your heroes...heh pun...' he thought lightly since the old adage was actually true in a sense.

Whilst he was walking he glanced to see the same bunny from before. He raised his eyebrow before walking to it. The bunny seemed as though it was looking for him.

'Cute...but...' what should he do?

"Um...sup?" he spoke with a question down at the cute bunny as the bunny stared at him before going towards his legs and rubbing his head on him.

He looked to the sides in both directions thinking it was someone else's but he didn't so he knelt down a little and rubbed its head.

"Just you and me ain't that right, little guy?" he talked to the beige bundle of cuteness.

Yeah, maybe he is turning a little crazy wanting to team up with a bunny against city destructive threats.

Izuku's eyes widened as a crowd was forming around a familiar green sludge roughly 50 meters from him as he rushed to see what was happening. People screamed, some ducked into alleys whilst others sprinted in the opposite direction. The sludge villains's gurgling voice hard echoed out as his slimy form writhed with malicious intent.

"No one...WILL STOP ME!" the villain roared out as his semi-liquid tentacles lashed out towards an unfamiliar girl with extensively long blonde and puffy hair.

The girl struggled and screamed against the sludge gripping her leg. Izuku wasted no time, a familiarly close feeling erupting in his chest as he rushed past the crowd and grabbed onto her arm before pulling. He tried to pull her free from the villain's grasp, but the slimy monster only tightened its hold.

"Hold on! I'm trying..! Use your quirk or whatever's on you to stun him!" Izuku shouted over the oise of the panicking crowd.

The girl previously screaming now albeit scared nodded and clenched her jaw as she forced herself to focus. Out of nowhere she released an electric shock down at her legs where she was being gripped by and shocked the villain, albeit it didn't do much but it stunned him.

This was enough time for Izuku to pull her out. Izuku stood infront of her as he looked in a familiar rage that the Sludge saw and reeled back instantly with cold sweat dripping down its back.

"N-NO?! No NO DAMN IT, I WON'T LET SOME DAMN KID SCARE MEEE?!!" the villain roared out as he tried to rush him,"YOU'LL MAKE A DAMN GREAT VESSEL!"

THUMP

THUMP

THUMP

He felt a foreign yet close sensation on his chest as he grabbed it and breathed heavily before looking towards the villain with a glare filled with the same rage again.

He won't let someone innocent die on his watch.

Izuku let out a primal roar resounding across the entire district as the surrounding crowd and heroes backing the people back closed their ears. The Sludge grew pale inside as Izuku rushed towards the green slob as said villain tried to throw it's tentacles at him and capture him, but Izuku weaved through before as he saw on opening.

With all his strength he cocked his arm back and with a conviction to end this, he punched into the Sludge's right eye, making it roar in agony and pain.

Izuku couldn't see it but the girl before him gazed in shock as she saw a purple trail following behind the guy's punch.

Whilst the sludge was crying out in utter pain and misery, Izuku came out of the Sludge's embrace and rushed to the girl and grabbing her by the waist before lifting her up, he sprinted back to the heroes, as two heroes came along.

The number 5 Rabbit hero, Miruko, and the number 6 Blizzard hero, Atomic Blizzard came as her long white hair flew along the wind.

"Alright, time to do this!" Miruko exclaimed as she was about to jump from the building, but Blizzard put her hand up stopping her.

"Wait, get those kids, they're too close within radius for me freezing it," she spoke firmly as Miruko looked down to see the Izuku and the blonde girl being carried running. The tentacle was about to reach them as the Sludge sent out a final blow to try and finish off the kids.

Miruko didn't hesitate as she sprinted down and with heightened speeds, blitzed to them and held them before speed blitzing to the side and out of radius. Miruko looked back up to Blizzard and nodded as Blizzard also nodded back before turning cold towards the Sludge.

"This ends now," she claimed calmly but with an icy expression as she waved her hand towards the villain successfully freezing him.

The ice blast shot forward, sttriking the villain's writhing mass. It let out another strangling scream as the cold surged throughout his body. It's eyes turned to the kids but before he could shout...

A glare.

A rageful look of doom gazed at him.

Izuku once again saw red as he gazed at the villain.

That was the final thing he saw before freezing and becoming completely immobilized.

Blizzard, aka Rei Todoroki, turned down her icy powers as she floated down to Miruko and Izuku who had calmed down before turning towards the girl in his arms. She was shaking and crying.

Blizzard looked down sorrowfully at the girl before looking a little higher to see Izuku as she widened her eyes.

'Izuku..?' Rei of course knew who her quirkless nephew was. Her daughter and son were friends with her after all and they were very close friends with the Yagi family.

Miruko looked down at the blonde girl as she bit her lip looking to the side before sighing and crouching down to put a gentle hand on her shoulder,"Hey...you alright?"

The girl jumped a little before looking back at Miruko and nodded still clinging to Izuku.

Izuku on the other hand had just realised his situation at the moment. A girl was clinging to him.

'Huh...well...I don't mind it...' he thought as he put both his hands on her on her arms slowly pulling her up but not of his lap.

"Are you okay..?" he asked roughly but as gentle as he could.

The girl looked up and blushed as she nodded,"Y-yeah...I-I'm okay now," she turned to Blizzard who smiled gently at her,"Miss Blizzard that...was amazing."

Blizzard gave a small nod smiling,"Of course, anything to help," she said sincerely.

Blizzard and Miruko's gaze lingered on them for a little as Miruko grinned before nudging his shoulder,"That was quite the punch ey, kid?"

Izuku turned to them as Blizzard looked concerned for her nephew. She had never seen Izuku throw such a punch like that and to a villain no less. Honestly, it was fantastic to see. But he was still a victim and she had to make sure he was alright.

Izuku looked to the side a little put off by Miruko's remark but nodded,"Yeah."

She looked at him and sighed,"Not much of a talker are you?"

"I do, I just decide when I should and when I shouldn't. Talking just wastes energy," Izuku sighed a little.

"Sheesh kid lighten up will you? Well you did alright there. Why don't we get these two up then Blizz," she turned to Blizzard who nodded as she put her head under her arm and walked her back whilst Miruko was about to help Izuku but he put his hand out shaking his head.

She raised an eyebrow but tilted her head as Izuku gradually, albeit with a little struggle got up and began walking to the Ambulance.

He limped a little as Miruko stared confused at him but smirked a little when she saw him about to fall. Just as he was about to Miruko put her head under his arm and helped carry him,"Stop trying to act tough there. We get it your strong, but chill will you?"

Izuku sighed and nodded as they walked back to the Ambulance. All of a sudden the four of them were almost blown down by a big gust of wind. They looked to see All Might standing there.

"I'm sorry everyone about what happened, I let the sludge villain get away. Is everyone alright?" he asked worried but then he gazed on Izuku, who grimaced but looked away.

"Young man? How are you here? You seem to find danger where ever you go!" he exclaimed loudly at Izuku,"Are you alright though?"

The girl looked in admiration however Izuku turned a little away from him,"I'm fine sir."

The three girls looked at the situation before them and it looked quite intense. They observed the interaction between the number one hero and Izuku with a subtle interest. The boy's abnormal soft coldness was unusual. All Might had the affect that children would beam up at the mention of his name and yet Izuku didn't seem the slightest interested to even want to talk to him.

All Might, meanwhile, looked concerned for him and checking if he was alright. Although he didn't put his hands on him, he observed to see only a few scratches,"That's good to hear young man. You have a knack for surviving situations huh..."

He was put off from his coldness though. It was understandable. He did crush his son's dream of being a hero. Of course he would be cold to him.

And that hurt him deeply nonetheless.

All Might turned to the blonde girl, his expression softening,"You too young lady, are you hurt?"

"I-I'm fine sir, all good," she smiled brushing a stray lock of hair from her face.

All Might nodded approvingly before looking back at the frozen villain,"As always, Blizzard, your control over your quirk is outstanding," he spoke with his signature smile.

Blizzard shook her head, chuckling to herself,"I always have to stay ontop of my game don't I?"

"We're the top female heroes after all, including Viridian Storm!" Miruko exclaimed with a hand on her bicep grinning referring to her other colleague, the number 7 hero.

All Might grinned, nodding his head,"That's right! Alright, Blizzard, can you help me to put the villain away?" he spoke as he started walking towards the frozen sludge.

Blizzard nodded walking with her colleague as she turned to Miruko,"Take care of those kids and make sure they get to their respective homes."

Miruko sighed but nodded as she turned to them before grinning a little,"So? What do you guys think?"

"The world of heroes of course! You guys are trying to be heroes right?" she exclaimed with a large grin.

The blonde girl nodded happily as they both turned to Izuku. They're smiles faltered a little as he looked away with no expression on his face.

'Okay something definitely happened between those two." Miruko thought in her head as she remembered that awkward conversation between the kid and All Might.

"What's your guy's name's?" she asked not wanting to call them kid all the time.

He looked back and saw Miruko staring at him with a grin so he sighed and spoke,"Izuku Yagi."

He glanced over to the girl who also said her name,"Mary Kim."

They both took notice of her last name,"Not Japanese?" Miruko wondered.

Mary nodded as she smiled at them a little,"Yeah, I'm korean actually. I moved here a few years back and learnt Japanese."

Izuku looked and actually took a good look at her. She was honestly beautiful. Even if she had small scratches on her arms and face, she still look elegant and appealing. Her light golden and wavy moving across the wind a little adding to her elegance.

She turned to him and smiled before bowing a little,"Izuku thank you so much for saving me...I don't know what I would've done if not for you..." she woefully but Izuku stopped her from bowing as she looked up a little seeing him shake his head.

"It's all good, I'm glad I helped," he nodded at her and smiled a little.

Miruko glanced at the two from Izuku to Mary and back to Izuku narrowing her eyes before smirking and whistling,"Woahh~ would you look at that you saved a damsel in distress~."

Mary blushed at her remark and looked away as Izuku looked at Miruko and sighed.

A couple hours later, Miruko and the two kids were walking to drop Mary off at the train station to send her back to her home.

Izuku coughed trying to find something to talk about,"Well...that was anticlimactic."

'Real smooth Izuku, real~ smooth.' Miruko deadpanned in her head but surprisingly it worked as Mary laughed a little.

"It was...I didn't exactly envision this was how my day was going to be," she looked at Izuku smiling,"but I guess that's what being a hero is all about," she turned back to Miruko with an even wider smile as he hands clasped behind her back.

Izuku and Miruko chuckled as Mary blushed a little but laughed too.

Mary glanced at him, her expession softening,"You handled yourself well you know. Despite that look in your eyes...I don't think I've ever seen someone move like that so decisively."

Izuku nodded a little chuckling as he looked to the sky a little with his hands in her jacket pockets,"To be honest, I just acted. You were the one who stunned him with that little electric shock of yours."

"We make a good team," Mary simply said, her tone filled with a nice warmth as she looked back at Miruko looking for her appreciation.

Miruko shook her head slightly before chuckling as she petted both they're heads—she had to go on her tiptoes, whilst Izuku had to begrudgingly crouch a little—since they were both good kids,"You can talk much bigger like that once you join me in the top 10 rankings as a hero isn't that right Izuku?"

She looked up to him but Izuku rolled his eyes. Being a hero after the number one crushed the idea immediately.

How ironic.

She took a step back and grinned at them,"Alright, I'm taking off. Oh and before I forget, the name is Rumi," she took off jumping high before running atop of the buildings.

They both smiled with Izuku smiling a little. As they approached the entrance of the station, Mary hesitated a little before doing a bold move by hugging him tightly. Her arms went around his back and wrapped around tightly. Izuku was a little shocked by this and blushed a little at the contact, but calmed down as he thought she must've still been a little frightened by the encounter.

He hugged back as his hands went around her waist and pulled her close. She nuzzled a little into his chest feeling a sense of comfort.

"Thank you...seriously thank you..." she muttered as Izuku smiled a little and rubbed her back gently.

"You did good Mary," Izuku replied back as Mary found further comfort from his words.

Time went a little slower for them as neither one really wanted to let each other go.

"Can I see you again?" Mary spoke quietly.

"Give me your number and we'll meet again," Izuku voiced back with a tiny smile sported on his face.

Mary smiled as she pulled back and taking her phone out she gave it to Izuku as they both exchanged numbers.

Mary looked up a little and smiled again,"I'll see you again Izuku alright?"

"Yeah...I'll see you next time," Izuku smiled back nodding a little as Mary into the station.

Izuku watched her leave and as soon as she was out of sight, he sighed as he put his hands in his jacket pockets. He really was not looking forward to seeing his family because there was no doubt that they saw the news and watched the TV. After all, the press and media were there to record everything, including his little actions of saving Mary and punching the Sludge's eye.

A FEW HOURS LATER [9:30PM]

He stood outside his door taking in a little breathe before sighing again. Multiple things could happen behind that door.

He opened it to see his father and mother on the couch as they were silently sitting there with the TV on. No doubt it was the fight earlier today.

Inko without a second of doubt rushed to her son,"Izuku!"

Before he could react, he was swept into a tight embrace. His mother dropped to her knees as she pulled him with the side of her face pressed against his stomach.

His eyes opened up in shock. What the hell is going on?

His mother was hugging him...for the first time in a long time.

She was cold and trembling. This wasn't what he wanted to feel when he wished to be hugged by her for the first time. He wanted to her be warm and full of comfort.

This was the exact opposite.

The world seemed to narrow to the sound of her breathe and the beat of her heart pressing against him.

For a moment, neither of them moved. She pulled away, her hands still gripping his arms as if she were afraid he would slip away from her again. Her expression was laced with a deeper and raw worry, something he couldn't register. He just waited and watched for her words to land.

"Where have you been...? It's been hours..." her voice broke on the last few words, almost pleading. He couldn't connect with these sounds.

"I was out..." Izuku spoke quietly without showing much. His gaze fixed onto Izumi who came downstairs seeing me. She looked conflicted. He didn't know why.

The four then turned to the TV as it played the night news channel.

A shaky video clip was used on the channel from someone's phone displaying a chaotic scene of the incident he experienced. The camera zoomed in just as the boy ran forward and grabbed the girl pulling her out with her using her quirk to stun him.

The boy then ran towards the villain ducking and weaving before landing an impactful and powerful punch into the villain's large right eye, making it screech out in pain.

The news anchor smiled before speaking,"A few hours ago, a sludge-type villain had attacked the eastern district of Musutafu. The two middle school students who were attacked reacted quickly to the situation. Thankfully, pro heroes were at the scene as Blizzard and Miruko as well as Death Arms, Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods and BackDraft with helping evacuating the civilians. However, not before this clip had surfaced as we see the young boy pulling out his friend."

The news anchor continued,"The boy, now known as Izuku Yagi, pulled out the girl, Mary Kim, from the villain. Izuku then proceeded to run whilst the villain was disoriented dodging all attacks before landing a mean right hook straight into the villain's eye."

Izuku could feel the stares of his family as they are had different expressions. His mother, currently holding him tightly, was checking to see if he was alright, Toshinori gripped his pants in some kind of anger? Sorrow?

Izumi looked absolutely gobsmacked as she saw her brother dealing with the villain quite easily might she add.

He continued with watching the the news anchor speaking,"Authorities have commended their actions as they were the ones who were attacked first and defended themselves in an act of self-defence. It was reminded, however, to leave a situation like this to licensed heroes."

The TV was switched off as Toshinori turned to his son with a concerned yet look of stern,"Firstly are you okay?"

Izuku couldn't help but think that this was the first time in a long time since he was ever given this much attention like this from the whole family.

"Yeah, I am," he said simply.

"Good," he said before gesturing towards the switched off TV, "What the hell was that then?"

He raised his eyebrow at the question but said the first thing that came to mind, "It was me saving a friend."

Toshinori's face scrunched up a little with a hint of concern, "That was the dumbest idea you could've done. Running into danger like that."

Izuku suddenly felt a tick mark form on his head. That was a person in danger? Someone about to die and he was being reprimanded? After all this time, they look at him and scold him?!

He felt a sudden surge of anger propping up again as he clenched his hands, trying to keep his voice steady, "I couldn't just stand there and do nothing about it. She was going to die so I acted."

"You acted?" Toshinori repeated with his voice turning sharp, "You. Are. Quirkless. Okay? Get that into your head. Charging in like that will get you killed."

Izuku bit the inside of his mouth even harder as his chest was feeling hotter and hotter. Inko felt a sudden warmth arise from Izuku's body as she pulled back a little to see his face. She slowly opened her eyes widening.

Izuku looked furious.

"Izu—" she didn't get to finish as Izumi butted in, "Yeah Izuku, that was just a dumb move. You should've just let the pro's handle it. If you did this to get attention then that was just even more stupid."

Inko watched as Izumi and Toshinori said those things to him, but what made her afraid was Izuku. He looked as though he was about to burst from rage-filled bottle.

He still kept his cool. Izuku didn't want to lash out yet.

....Yet.

"I wasn't trying to get attention, I was saving that girl because no one else was there to do it," he spoke with his fist clenched tightly. It was getting to a point that blood was starting to seep out soon.

Inko suddenly had to stop him by saying her own piece not knowing what consequences it may lead to, "Izuku just stop and look at the footage. You ran in and and no thoughts whatsoever about the consequences this would lead to. Just stop trying to think your a hero."

Izuku was reaching the max limit of his anger, but after his mother said that, he froze. He began clenching his hands tightly as his veins was starting to protrude out.

"When the FUCK?!" he slammed his fist into the table silencing everyone shockingly, "will you realise that I stopped wanting to be a hero IN THE FIRST FUCKING PLACE!" he shouted as his voice echoed throughout the house.

Toshinori stood up and put his hand up slightly pointing his finger at him, "Izuku, do not swear in this home. Is that understood? And stop being dramatic." he said firmly not wanting to argue like this.

"Dramatic...! Dramatic?!" Izuku roared as he stood up as well causing Inko to get up as well as Izumi rushing down the stairs.

"This is so fucking stupid?! We wouldn't be doing this kind of coversation—bare in mind this is the first time you've talked to me in years—if it were Izumi that saved someone. You all would be celebrating with the entire neighbourhood and praising her like no tomorrow!" Izuku then brought his hands to his chest slamming it into him repeatedly, "But me?! We just have to make sure that I am wrong!"

Toshinori was getting annoyed at his attitude. He did not expect Izuku to take it this far, "Alright that's enough Izuku," trying to end this dispute.

"Look at that, the motherfucker didn't even deny it," Izuku chuckled angrily.

Toshinori glared at him as he slowly walked to him, "Izuku, I said enough of this."

Izuku got right up in his face, "Oh yeah, what are you gonna do?" before Inko's small frame got in between the two, "Both of you two, stop! Please!" she cried as Izumi watched shaking silently.

She had never seen her brother this angry especially to their own parents at that.

Izuku didn't listen to Inko and continued glaring at Toshinori as he did the same back at Izuku, "Put the same scenario with you and Mom and she was taken like that. Are you going to sit there and twiddle your fucking thumbs whilst waiting for some damn heroes who are gonna be too late to show up whilst your own wife is taken to God knows where!"

Toshinori's eyes widened a little from Izuku's brutal example, "T-That's not the same thing," he spoke with his tone hardening, "Don't twist this."

"Twist what? I'm simply telling the damn truth of the situation!" Izuku hollered out his voice rising slightly, "What's so different about this huh? Is it because it's you in the situation? Someone you care about? What about me? What about someone I care about. You didn't care about me for 11 fucking years so why the hell should I give a bat's shit about yo—"

Izuku was suddenly slapped across the face by Toshinori as he glared at his son, before realising what he did.

Izuku taken over by his anger roared as he put his hands around Toshinori's neck and strangled him whilst Toshinori, overcome by his own twisted form of regret and rage, also placed his hands on Izuku's neck. Izuku began punching his dad in the face.

Inko screamed as she tried to pull the two away whilst Izumi was horrified. Both Izuku and Toshinori didn't look at them, too angry to acknowledge their surroundings.

Izumi went to Izuku and with the rush of the fight she never would've experienced, she forgot to use her telekinetic quirk as she tried to pull Izuku back with her hands around his waist trying as hard as she could. Inko was trying to push Toshinori back as the two men were trying to break free from the girls' hold to punch eachother but the hold on them was getting tighter.

They both failed to notice the constant tears and wails from both girls pleading and begging for them to stop.

This feud terrified both Izumi and Inko. The expression on the two's faces were enough to scare them immensely. They've seen Toshinori get mad before, but never once had they seen Izuku just as mad, if not worse.

His expression was that of someone who had gone on a murdering spree and it scared them extremely.

"Get of me Izumi," Izuku breathed out heavily as Izumi tightened her hold on her brother not knowing whether or not he will lash out again.

"N-No Izuku p-please no-" she couldn't finish as she heard his loud shout that terrified her.

"FUCKING GET OFF ME?!" He roared as Izumi frightened let go and fell onto the couch whimpering and crying. Izuku huffed as he stared at his 'father' before going out of the living room and slamming the door behind him. He proceeded to rush upstairs.

They all indefinitely flinched when they heard a second slam realizing that Izuku went into his room. Toshinori who was looking towards the door finally realised the severity of his actions. It had just dawned on him who he had just hit. His own son…

He sat down breathing heavily as he turned to see Izumi whimpering and crying from the intense feud she just witnessed. Inko on the other hand, felt her knees wobble as she sank straight onto the floor before she began wailing in pain and misery.

For Christ's sake, she just watched her husband and son fighting for the first time…

The first time?

But she couldn't help but keep wailing as her cries were being heard by Toshinori who was breathing heavily and Izumi who had red eye's from crying and whimpering with tears trickling down.

'What…have I done…?'
