As soon as Ethan reads the letter, his anger explodes. Without thinking twice, he charges forward, ruthlessly attacking anyone in his way.
He reaches another room—and what he sees makes everyone freeze. There are piles of children's corpses scattered on the floor, the air filled with a rotting stench. Ethan's fury goes completely out of control. Blinded by rage, he starts firing without restraint. Even the trained soldiers guarding the bunker can't stop him.
Fighting his way through, Ethan finally reaches Dr. D's personal lab. One of his two captured friends is still alive; the other has already been killed. Dr. D is there too. Ethan grabs him and starts smashing his face with the butt of his rifle.
But Dr. D secretly presses a silent alarm. Instantly, the entire facility goes into high alert. The night shift soldiers are awakened by the siren.
Ethan's friend shouts, "We need to get out of here—now! More guards are coming!"
Ethan knocks Dr. D unconscious and escapes with his friend.

Meanwhile, outside…
One soldier stops John and asks, "Where are you taking them?"
John calmly replies, "To a safe location. Dr. D's orders."
The soldier frowns. "Remove your mask. Show me your face."
But just then, the alarm goes off. The soldiers assume something serious has happened near Dr. D's chamber and rush away, letting John off the hook. He moves forward with the group.

Elsewhere in the forest…
FBI agents discover a hidden gate behind a tree, covered with thick grass. It leads underground. They go down and begin exploring the tunnel.
Suddenly, they spot children approaching. The agents rush to them, and John explains everything:
> "These kids were held hostage. Please stay here—the others will be joining us soon."

Back inside the bunker…
Ethan and his group carry their injured friend and try to escape. But they're lost. No matter which path they take, they end up back in the same corridor.
The bunker was designed like a maze—a continuous loop.
With the alarm still blaring, more soldiers are bound to show up. Confused and panicking, Ethan remembers the letter. He pulls it out again and flips it over—on the back, there's a hidden map showing the way out.
Following the map carefully, avoiding guards, they finally reach the area where the FBI agents are waiting.
Ethan explains everything—what happened to the children, and what Dr. D was doing to them. A professional FBI team rushes inside and secures the entire facility.
But by then, Dr. D has regained consciousness. He pretends to be unconscious and, in one quick move, pulls out a hidden gun from his sleeve.
He sees Ethan and snarls, "You ruined everything," before pulling the trigger and shooting him in the chest.
The soldiers react instantly and fire back, killing Dr. D on the spot.
His real identity remains a mystery.
Ethan collapses, shot in the chest. Seeing this, Lyla screams and runs to him, sobbing.
> "Ethan! What happened to you?!"
With his last breath, Ethan whispers:
> "Lyla… before I go, I just want to ask one thing... do you love me?"
Lyla, crying uncontrollably, says:
> "Yes, Ethan… I love you."
Ethan smiles… and dies.
Lyla hugs his lifeless body, whispering:
> "Please don't leave me, Ethan… don't go…"

Suddenly…
Ethan wakes up in bed. He gets dressed for college.
It was all just a dream.
After Lyla rejected him, Ethan had fallen into deep depression and imagined this entire tragic story in his mind.
He reaches college and sees Lyla standing in the parking lot—talking to another guy.
Ethan watches them quietly, ignores them, and walks silently toward his classroom.
