A dark void, devoid of light.
A girl, beautiful as a painting, floated in the air—so still she looked like part of the scenery itself. With her soft glowing skin, silver lashes resting over pale lids, and long hair that shimmered like moonlight in water, she looked like a fallen fairy lost in a dream.
A golden ball bounced up and down around the sleeping beauty, glowing with a faint light. At first, it jumped gently—then more aggressively—as if trying to wake her. Scratch that: the golden ball was now angrily jumping on her face.
"Mia! Get your big head up! You have a whole world waiting for you! Gosh, why was I assigned to this deadbeat? If you don't wake up, I'll pop your pretty little face!" the golden ball shouted.
That did the trick. The girl opened her eyes and grabbed the golden ball, revealing it was not a ball—but a fat, golden cat.
"You little rat. I haven't seen you in ages, and you've already grown round like a dumpling," she said calmly, her cold eyes betraying no joy at seeing the long-lost acquaintance.
"Put this supreme one down!" the cat huffed. "This isn't fat—it's an enjoyment shape. Anyway, the fate of a world depends on you!" the golden cat said dramatically.
But the girl only looked at it, bored.
"Fine, fine. The Lord of Time and Space has found a perfect place for you. You won't be bored there. And there's a reward—you'll be allowed to return to your world without any restrictions. You'll be paid, too," the cat added.
That made the girl smile—a real smile, one that reached her eyes.
"Oh? Then what are you waiting for? Let's go," she said.
The golden cat grinned, and then—darkness.

A girl lay in bed. Her eyes slowly opened. Above her stood a handsome man—tall, with a lean and muscular build, black hair, phoenix-shaped eyes, red lips, and long, veiny hands. If she were to rate him, it would be a solid seven out of ten.
But the girl wasn't admiring him. No—she looked at him with fear and hatred, shocking the man.
"Maria, are you okay?" the man asked, taking her hand.
She immediately pulled away and screamed.
A boy, no older than seven, rushed into the room. His eyes didn't hold the warmth of a son looking at his mother. Instead, he stared at the man with intense hatred.
The boy clenched his fists, walked in, and held the man's hand.
"Uncle Marvin, what's wrong with Mom?" the boy asked coldly.
The man—Marvin—squatted down to his level. "Mike, why don't you go play with the nanny for a bit?"
But the woman in the bed—Maria—suddenly shoved Marvin aside with all her strength and clutched her son tightly.
"Don't touch my son!" she screamed.
Then, she looked up. Her eyes widened in terror—and she fainted.
Marvin caught her before she hit the floor. "Get her back in bed. Call the doctor!" he ordered.
Mike was led out of the room by Marvin and into the waiting room. He stared at the closed door, his eyes distant.
This didn't happen before... or did it?
No. He remembered.
Yes—Mike had been reborn. He remembered his past life. He knew now: this was a novel world. He was the villain.
In his past life, his mother died while trying to kill the FL and her son Jake. But it failed—and she was killed by Marvin himself when Mike was only seven. Then everything spiraled
His mother's family stole the savings she left behind. He was thrown out. When he became poor, all his so-called friends left him. The girl he loved chose the FL's son, Jake. The girl he trained and protected? She used him. When he sought revenge, he became the villain.
And villains never have happy endings.
He was defeated. Marvin, the man pretending to care now, was the one who made it worse. Mike went blind. Then a mysterious man offered him a chance for revenge—but only used him. He ended up arrested, beaten, abused, and tormented in prison… until he died.
Now—he was back. For revenge.
"The patient is stable. Nothing's wrong with Miss Maria—she just suffered a shock," the doctor told Marvin.
"Are you sure?" Marvin asked coldly. "Make absolutely sure she's okay. Use any amount of money. Just make sure."
---
"Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Do you hear me?!" Maria screamed—but no one heard her.
Mia opened her eyes and rubbed her forehead. "Stress," she mumbled.
Then, she turned—and saw Maria.
She was transparent.
Mia sighed. "Little foodie, come out. I swear I won't kill you," she muttered, but the golden cat refused to come. It was busy dancing and eating in the void.
Mia sighed and closed her eyes, mentally preparing for the challenge ahead.

Mission Summary: She had possessed a side character named Maria—the first lover of the ML—who had committed terrible crimes.
First: she lied to the FL's ex-husband, Marvin, and claimed to be the one who saved him (using a necklace the FL dropped). Thanks to Maria's manipulation, Marvin gave the FL's son's eye transplant to Maria's son instead—since her child needed surgery. She also had a heart problem, and Marvin wanted to give her the FL's heart.
Everything was going well until the original plot kicked in. Suddenly, Maria's IQ dropped. She acted like a brainless bird and kept picking fights with the FL. She stopped pretending to be sweet, and Marvin eventually got tired of her.
After Marvin divorced the FL, Maria thought she had a chance. But she failed to win him over. Marvin began hating both her and her son, especially when her son mocked the FL's blind child.
Maria changed tactics and entered a dance competition. She was the lead dancer—thanks to Marvin's influence. But the FL joined too.
Maria begged Marvin to sabotage the FL, so he had her kidnapped. Everything was going fine—until Maria had to visit the FL, slap her, and declare her evil victory. She revealed the necklace she stole and confessed everything.
Marvin overheard. Furious, he released the FL and turned on Maria.
The ML came and rescued the FL. Marvin had his men rape Maria. Then, when she returned to the studio, she was kicked out. Maria's lackeys demanded she be reinstated—thinking she was still Marvin's wife.
But Marvin walked in with roses… and gave them to the FL.
The studio president exposed everything: the kidnapping, the bribery, and Marvin's role. Marvin had his men break Maria's legs.
Maria wanted revenge.
She crashed a party the ML invited the FL to. Don't ask how—she just did. She drugged the FL and dragged her to a room to be assaulted. But the FL woke up and fought back. Maria ended up the victim instead.
Marvin found out and didn't care. The ML turned out to be the heir to the biggest company. The FL and ML arranged for a successful eye transplant.
Later, Maria somehow kidnapped Mike—but failed again, too busy monologuing.
Marvin killed her.
And yes—Maria's son was also destined to die. Her family drained the rest of the money she left. Only a friend helped raise her son. But the boy grew up seeking revenge. He fell for a girl and helped her family—only to be used and discarded.
Maria's son turned violent. The girl left him for Mike.
Broken, he tried to kill Mike but lost everything. His reputation was destroyed. Marvin had his eyes removed.
Still, Maria's son refused to give up. A mysterious figure exploited him again. He landed in jail—blind, beaten, tormented. Then, he died.
And now—he's reborn.
And Maria's soul is here too.
Glaring at Mia.
