Once we all woke up, we set out for the capital again. We were again ambushed by the demons. I was told to stay in the carriage.
I wanted to help too. But got traped in the carriage they say its dangerous.
While they were fighting, I heard some other voice. I heard enough to know that a group has joined the fight.
After the fight, I went out to check. I left Furball in the carriage. My father greeted them warmly.
They were also one of the powerful villages, and my father was an old friend of the chief.
While everyone was distracted, suddenly a demon jumped from behind me, but before it could attack me.
A sword came from the side and slew it. I turned to see that it was the same boy with blue eyes.
He asked me, " Are you okay?" his expression neutral.
I was too stunned to speak. My father came to me. He looked worried and turned to the boy and said, " Thank you for your help."
The boy just smiled and look at me. I felt something which is hard to describe in words.
The chief then suggested, " We are going the same way. Why don't we go together?"
My father agreed. I was excited, but my happiness was in vain when I found out Tyler is the chief's son.
I have to travel with him. No never. After that day, I didn't even want to hear his name.
No choice, my father has already agreed. We travel in the same carriage. My father was catching up with his friend. While Tyler and I stay silent.
Then the chief said to my father, " Your daughter had also lost her memory, right. My son also lost his memory."
" Yes," My Father answered.
Then he started yapping about his son's achievement. So brave, talented. Father listened quietly while smiling.
He didn't stop there, he told his son history. Well, I don't know about your son, but the person in your son's body might not be your typical ideal type.
Thinking about it i want to laugh. What did i even like about this guy. Maybe from that day.
Then Furball came out. I started playing with it. The chief noticed it and said, " It's a cute demon you have there." His son, though, looked annoyed.
Soon, we reached the teleportation portal. But there was a problem, there was no energy in the portal to activate it.
The solution was to find a power stone. But how will we find it in this place?
" There is a cave near here that has power stones, but there is also a powerful demon spotted near there. We should get some power stone from it." My father suggested.
All agreed, and they left to get power stones. Some warriors were left behind to protect us.
Maipakpi came to me and sat next to me.
" Laija, how did travelling in the same carriage with Tyler go?" she asked.
" Don't mention it again. It makes my blood boil." I said.
She smiled and looked at the blue-eyed boy, " Was he the one you were talking about?"
I nodded and she said, " He's really handsome, ten times better than Tyler."
I looked at her and said, " Maipakpi, what you always say is all true? That's why I love you."
" Don't try to sugarcoat me." She said.
I laughed when I looked away, I felt his gaze on me. Truly, those pair of eyes are the most beautiful I have ever seen. He then again focused on his work.
I got up. Maipakpakpi asked me, " Where are you going?"
I replied, " I haven't thanked him yet. I'm gonna thank him."
I went to him and said, " Sorry to disrupt you, but I wanted to thank you for saving me earlier."
" It's nothing." He said.
I didn't know how to continue the conversation, so I just said I'll leave and left.
Yeah I'm a socially akward person i'll admit it. I wanted to talk more though.
I was playing with Furball. The boy was passing by, he noticed it and said, " You have a cute pet there."
"Yes, isn't he cute?" I said.
He continued, " My name is Ryker, by the way. Did you also reincarnate here?"
" Yes," I said acting shocked.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Laija, but I'm called Leisana here," I answered.
" Leina told me that you asked about me," he said.
I didn't know what to say.
Our conversation was interrupted by the noise of their return. He got up and started going. He looked back and said, " We'll talk later." He smiled at me. That smile almost killed me.
Luckily they were able to slay the demon without any casualties.
After my father and others returned, they tried to set up the portal. While we were waiting, Leina approached me and said, " I'm sorry for telling Ryker about you asking about him."
"Why do you feel sorry about that? It's nothing." I asked.
" Actually, Laija, he looks kind at first sight, but he is a very dangerous person. He is very scary. I prefer to stay away from him. One day, he..." She was interrupted by the sound of the portal opening.
Before I could say anything. We were called and we had to go.
When we entered the portal, everything became unclear before I knew we were in the capital. We were just outside the capital.
After verifying our identity, we were allowed to go inside the capital. We straight went to the King.
This capital is developed. We reached the palace of the King.
We all bowed in front of the King. He welcomed us warmly. All 5 villages were present there.
We were told to leave the room, leaving only the King and all the village chiefs.
In the meantime, Maipak, Leina, and I, with Furball, travel around the palace. While we were sightseeing, I asked Leina, " Leina, what were you trying to say earlier?"
She was about to continue, but then Ryker appeared with Tyler.
Ryker smiled at me. Then I heard a similar voice, " Laija." It was Mary last person I want to meet in this world.
Jade was also there. She said, " Laija, you are here too. All of our classmates are there." She pointed to a room.
We all entered the room. Not just our classmates were there, there were also Leina's classmates. She was so happy to meet.
I also joined in their conversation. At the same time the conversation was going smoothly. Then someone burst out with the question we were struggling to answer.
" How will we go back to our world?" someone said.
The room fell silent.
At that quite moment, the door of the room opened. A woman was standing there, and she informed us that the king had summoned us.
Will our question ever be answered?
