Metallic sounds clashing with each other echoed across the huge but simple workshop every second.

A man holding a not-so-huge nor well-designed hammer was continuously slamming it down on a black and curious sword blade in front of him.
TING!
Sparks flew near him every time his hammer made contact with the blade.

His hammering was neither strong nor weak, and he was precisely striking the black blade at specific spots and parts of it.
But it's to be noted that from another's point of view, he's just carelessly and aimlessly hammering the blade in front of him.

The man was taking deep breaths between each clash to maintain his concentration and consciousness.

His concentration was indeed admirable, as it seemed like he wasn't feeling or even seeing the raging fire from the huge blast furnace in front of him that wanted to engulf him!
