"How dare you stupid girl? Where did you come from? Arrest her!" The people barked.
"Tell your idol to keep her fucking hands off my daughter! She's such a homewrecker." Someone came among the crowd and slapped Talia across the face with the back of his hand.
"How dare you come from nowhere and start assaulting a personality? Someone call the police!"
The police was called as soon as possible and the crowd didn't let Talia go.
They kept questioning her on why she attacked Isla but she didn't give them a reply. She was fuming profusely as she was being interrogated.
Isla was near her car, receiving first aid treatment from some nurses around.
"How dare she?!" They snarled.
The policemen arrived, and they were directed to Talia Evans.
Suddenly,Isla noticed them and went towards them.
"Please let her go."
"What?" The crowd exclaimed, gasping and inaudibly making comments.
"But she hurt you, Miss. Sinclair!" A man mentioned.
"She did ... But it's okay..."
Isla sat in front of her laptop, her face illuminated by the screen as Sasha's frantic voice came through the video call. "Isla, is it true?! I saw it all over the internet! You got hurt by some crazy lady and you didn't even let the police take her away?!"
Isla's expression turned guarded, but she nodded slowly. "Yeah, it's true."
Sasha's face contorted in disbelief. "Are you kidding me?! How could you let someone like that just walk away?! Especially at such a big event! I'm embarrassed for you, girl!"
Isla chuckled softly, trying to diffuse the tension. "It's okay, Sasha. Let's not make a big deal out of it. We're on a call to discuss Julie's baby shower, aren't we? It's just a week away!"
Sasha's anger seemed to simmer down slightly, and she took a deep breath. "Right, right. Julie's baby shower. I'm so excited! We still need to finalize the cake design and—"
But Sasha's enthusiasm was short-lived, as she abruptly switched back to the previous topic. "Wait, what connection do you have with that lady who hurt you? I saw some video where she was talking about a daughter... what did she mean?"
Isla's demeanor changed instantly, her body tensing up as she paused, her eyes darting away from the screen for a brief moment. The smile had vanished from her face, replaced by a look of unease.
"Sasha...."
"Are you doubledating with some married man?"
"C'mon. Don't you know about Cade's daughter?"
"Wait ..... She's Cade's ex-wife?"
"No, they were never married. The child was a mistake. The child doesn't even want her! She's on my neck these days because I'm dating Cade. Thank goodness she didn't make it known that I was in a relationship."
"But when the hell are you both gonna reveal your relationship?"
"Cade and I agreed on this month. And I haven't seen him in a while though."
"Call him! Tell him about his bitch ex!"
"I will."
[Cade: Hey]
Isla's phone beeped and she jolted out of her thoughts.
She saw the message and quickly tried to connect a video call.
"Hi!!" She was excited to see him after two weeks that felt like forever.
But he didn't reciprocate the smile.
"What happened Isla? Was that Talia in the video?" Isla nodded.
"Why didn't you call me? Why didn't you tell me that bitch came to hurt you? Is she insane?" Cade snarled.
"Cade, you're yelling...."
"Why didn't you let the police arrest her?"
"Because she's Dora's mom. I couldn't let her go to jail for me."
"You are Dora's mom, Isla Sinclair. Talia is dead to me."
"...."
"I'll call her and warn her to stay away from you, Isla. How dare her raise her filthy hand and hit you?"
"It's okay, Cade. I'm fine now."
"If you say so. You had better be fine!"
"Of course I will. Now, smile." Cade's face was still red with anger.
"If you don't smile, I'll hang up." He tried to smile.
"That's fake." Cade made his smile broader and they laughed.
"How's Dora?"
"She's somewhere playing."
"Extend my greetings."
"I will."
"And Stacie?" She asked again.
"She went to the library."
"I miss you." Isla said cutely.
"I miss you too."
"But I miss your lips more."
"Really? I was actually about to say same."
"When are you coming to LA?"
"I don't know. My schedule is pretty tight right now. I'll be free next month. Then, I'll come over."
"Julie's baby shower is close. We can meet there."
"You're attending? What about the distance..."
"I'd travel the world just to be with you, Isla Sinclair."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"What about your parents? They'll miss you so much. You've stayed home for a while."
"Home is wherever you are." Isla bit her lips and covered her face in the sheets in shyness.
"Let me see your face. Your eyes are where our love is buried."
Isla stared at Cade with a smile on her face.
"Cade, you're so hella dramatic."
"You mean, romantic."
"You're not romantic."
"Then why are you blushing?" His voice was low and husky.
"I'm not blushing." Isla disagreed, touching her flushed cheeks.
"I forgot to mention - I miss that extremely sexy mode of yours..."
"Shh..." Isla closed her eyes and her cheeks flushed harder.

The future parents, however, stole the spotlight as they took center stage, dancing together to a special song chosen just for the occasion. As they danced, the room was filled with love, joy, and anticipation for the baby's arrival. The couple's dance became a cherished moment for everyone present, a memory to treasure for years to come.
"I need to go to the restroom." Isla excused herself and strolled around the maze of a house, looking for the restroom.
"It's right there." She heard a voice and turned around. Her face brightened.
"Baby!!" She ran towards Cade and hugged him tight.
"I never thought you'd really come."
"Of course, I promised you."
"Let's go see Julie. She'll be so happy to see you!!" She locked her arm in his and they walked towards Julie's room.
"Are you not using the restroom?"
"Yeah, I wanted to. Wait here for me."
