A few minutes later, Amasa and Kuro were on a bus to school since they became late due to their antics, surprisingly, during the bus ride, the two were silent and well mannered, the elders on the bus even complimented their respect for each other and other people around them, the second they left the bus, Kuro hit the back of Amasa's head, "For that embarrassing ride.", "Yeah yeah." He rubbed his head as he looked up to the college, taking a much clearer look at it. It was huge, each building contained only 5 class rooms, each of them were nearly the size of a gymnasium, this was similar to his original classes, he and Kuro walked inside the gates made of pure iron and reinforced with Qi from the head principles and the master of the college. Right after the gate was the main entrance, a huge statue stood strong, the statue of the man who founded this college, it was made with titanium and then layered with gold, it too had Qi, but it came from within it self, apart from it being the colleges pride, it is also the burial site of the founder, this wasn't different from his world, the founder's name was still Tian Xiao. Further inside the college, they saw classes already in progress, though they were not Kate, these were just the extra classes for those who were failing miserably, they stayed in for 2 hours after classes and come back 2 hours before classes, looking inside one of the classes, he saw them cultivating, all specifically, they were meditating, all of them were floating, this was no surprise considering that this world focused more on their own bodies then on the beasts, but it was still somewhat similar.
Once he got to class, he decided to actually pay attention for once to get a clearer grasp on the system used here, and if it compared to his original worlds system, when the teacher walked in, everyone stood in attention like they were in a military, this wasn't different at all, after all, it's either you learn to kill or just be free meat for pray, or in this worlds standards, become a cultivator or be used for cultivation, essentially, become a punching bag. The teacher then spoke, his voice filled the class with ease, "Good morning students! I am Viceroy, Viceroy Vick Von! I am a new teacher that will be taking your classes from now on as your previous teacher has been assigned to a different class! I think?", Amasa looked to the student, her name was Juno, she's a golden girl among the students, even though she's shy, she still finds it in her self to actually challenge people, not to mention she's actually fun to hang around with, but the one issue he'd always look at with her, is how built she was, she had more muscles then an average gym bro, while in his world, she had menacing beasts constantly around her, guess in both worlds she's still hard to approach directly, though if he had to choose between the different versions of her, he'd choose the one with the beasts, the muscles just make him feel like he'd be more submissive for some reason, and that really made him feel out of it.
"Ah. If that is where you have stopped then Verdent has taken this situation into account. Since your class is ahead of the others, I shall only explain the basics for now." Amasa cheered silently, this was perfect for him since he wanted to know as much as he could, he had planned on going to a library but that would've taken a lot of time, "We shall start with the beginning knowledge of cultivation, before you actually start cultivation, you must first learn how to gather Qi, this is essential as your body will use it to both cleanse and strength it self. May everyone please gather some Qi." The teacher himself gathered Qi without any issues, so did the rest of the class, as well as Kuro, but Amasa was panicking, he hasn't gathered Qi directly before, but observing how everyone else did so down to their breathing and even further to their slightest movement, he attempted to gather Qi for the first time, he used some information from his original life to aid, this caused him to gather not only Qi, but the leftover essence of various beasts, he has made sure to gather Kuro's essence, the teacher saw this but disregarded it as a fluke, he was still surprised as no normal person could absorb a beasts essence so freely.
"Good. The next stage is the foundation establishment phase, it is akin to a building's foundation, the stronger the foundation, the bigger the building. Many take various approaches to this phase, but we can not exactly tell you which one works best. What we can tell you, is that the foundation is built by subjecting your body, soul and Qi to various challenges, keeping all three in perfect balance will ensure your foundations success. The teacher yet again did as he told the students, he materialised his foundation, It looked extremely solid, yet small, "And know this, the size is not what matters, it is how solid the foundation is that counts." With that, the students began manifesting their foundations, most of them had decent foundations, one student has a poor foundation and Juno has a perfect foundation, Kuro was hesitant to show her's, but eventually she did, manifesting an extremely solid foundation, it looked more solid then the teachers foundation and it was also much larger than his, everyone began to call Kuro a genius, she playfully shoved Amasa, "Come on, do it, nit like it'll hurt you", "God if you didn't have a human." He whispered before closing his eyes, instead of normally visualising it, he constructed a foundation from scratch using the Qi had gathered before, he ended up creating a foundation nearly the size of the entire class, the worst part was that it was just as solid as Kuro's foundation, the teacher stated at him and Kuro in shock, he was frozen still from the large number of skilled people in one class, he decided to continue the lesson, just to test their understanding.
"The next phase Is the core formation phase, this phase often requires spiritual resources. However, thy]& you qose with exceptional understanding in Qi gathering may find this phase extremely simple. In this phase you create the heart of your power. May you all activate your cores." He and the rest of the students did so, including Kuro, however, she was more concerned about Amasa and what he will do in this situation, before she could say or do anything, Amasa has already formed a core, his absorbed Qi and beast essence without him having to do so manually. The teacher finally broke, "What the hell are you! Go to the masters office, Now!" And with that, the first day of actually paying attention had backfired and caused him trouble.
