Sunlight spilled across the sheets, golden and warm. Yuuto blinked awake slowly, his body still sore, his chest still full. For a moment, he forgot everything—his past, Julien, even the ticking clock over Aiden's life.
There was only this bed. This warmth. This man.
Aiden lay beside him, arm slung around Yuuto's waist, still asleep. His face looked younger like this—softer. Vulnerable. The usual tension in his jaw was gone, lips slightly parted, breath calm.
Yuuto traced the edge of his jaw with a fingertip. "You look peaceful," he whispered.
Aiden stirred, eyes fluttering open. "That's because I have you."
Yuuto smiled, pressing a kiss to his collarbone. "Last night… it didn't feel like something temporary."
Aiden's hand slid into Yuuto's hair. "Because it wasn't. Nothing with you is."
They lay in silence for a while, skin against skin, hearts pressed together.
But it didn't last.
Aiden's phone buzzed.
He reached over, eyes narrowing at the name on the screen. Julien.
Yuuto caught it too and tensed. "What does he want now?"
Aiden sighed. "He's asking if you've made a decision. If you're staying with me or… moving on."
Yuuto's expression hardened. "I already decided. I just didn't say it to him."
Aiden smirked. "Want me to block him?"
"No." Yuuto sat up. "I'll answer him myself."
He took the phone, typing quickly:
> "I belong to Aiden. I always will. Don't text again."
Aiden chuckled. "That was hot."
Yuuto grinned. "You haven't seen hot yet."
Aiden pulled him back into bed with a laugh, flipping him over. "Oh? Challenge accepted."
They kissed again, slower this time. No rush. No fear.
Outside, the world spun on. But in that room, in those arms—they had everything.
Even if time was limited, love wasn't.
