Another dull, pale night in Hueco Mundo.
The Bone Circle was gathered as usual — me sitting on my favorite bone chair, Baraggan pretending not to sleep on his throne, Spike o Sensei standing proud like the cactus champion he was, the 4 idiots arguing over who could eat more sand without dying, and Aizen strutting around with Kukkapūro still perched on his head like a royal crown.
Everything was peaceful.
Then… the ground trembled.
BOOM
A heavy, earth-shaking thud made the sand ripple.
Another BOOM.
And another.
We all turned toward the sound.
Emerging from a thick wall of dust and white mist was a massive, hulking figure — something that looked like a walking Ankylosaurus fused with a Hollow mask and thick plates of bone armor. The beast was colossal, at least 10 meters tall, dragging a heavy, mace-like tail behind it.
It had a wide, crocodile grin and tiny, beady eyes under its massive mask.
And it was mad.
"GRUAAAH!" I roared.
[Translation: What the hell is that!?]
Baraggan groaned, rubbing his forehead.
"He says what the hell is that."
The giant creature snarled, glaring straight at Aizen and Kukkapūro.
Then it spoke in a low, guttural voice.
"Kukkapūro! There you are, you stupid mutt!"
Everyone blinked.
Kukkapūro gave a guilty little yip, ducking behind Aizen's head.
Grimmjow burst out laughing.
"Aizen's new dog's in trouble."
Yylfordt pointed.
"That thing's gotta be its owner!"
The monster stomped forward.
"I'm Yammy! And that's my pet, you boneheads! Give him back or I'll crush all your skulls!"
I cracked my knuckles.
"GRUUAAAH."
[Translation: No.]
Baraggan, still half-asleep, sighed.
"He says no."
Aizen let out a confident woof.
Kukkapūro woofed back.
Yammy's eye twitched.
"Fine! Then I'll beat the whole damn lot of you!"
The Bone Circle readied up.
Shawlong cracked his neck.
The 4 idiots lined up — shoulder to shoulder like idiots.
Spike o Sensei stood motionless, radiating cactus energy.
And me? I grinned.
"GRUAAAGH!!"
[Translation: Let's kick this Ankylosaurus bastard's ass!]
Baraggan translated with a grin.
Yammy charged, his mace-tail swinging.
The clash shook Hueco Mundo.
Aizen barked like a warhound, Kukkapūro yipped like a battle bugle.
