Our base? Yeah, still not finished. More like a permanent construction zone with half-built walls, piles of sand everywhere, and holes big enough to swallow a giant whole. Shawlong and his four towering idiots—each nearly six stories tall—try their best to build it, but watching them is like watching clumsy toddlers stacking blocks. Nothing stays put. Every time they "fix" one part, another part crumbles.
I gave up on eating rocks for EP. Instead, I tried other dumb stuff. First, I balanced on one leg and let out a guttural roar at the endless night sky — scored a sweet 8,000 EP. Then, I accidentally plopped onto a cactus Spike o Sensei sent me as a gift. Sharp prick, lots of yelps, and another 10,000 EP rolled in. Apparently, pain plus idiocy equals EP gold.
Shawlong finally stopped pacing and said, "We need someone experienced. Someone who actually knows how to build a base that won't collapse every hour."
Everyone paused and stared.
"Who?" I grunted, wagging my arms uselessly.
Shawlong smirked, "Baraggan."
Grimmjow scoffed, "That old dude? What's he gonna do, turn the whole base into dust with his powers?"
Shawlong shrugged. "Maybe. But he's built forts before. At least he knows what he's doing."
The group muttered. Baraggan was a force to be reckoned with, with powers that could decay anything. His idea of construction might be unusual, but desperate times.
I gave a confused roar and wagged my arms again — stupid move — and scored 8,000 EP.
Shawlong said, "I'll ask him. If anyone can fix this mess, it's Baraggan."
While he went off to find him, the rest of us kept "building" in the usual chaotic way. Grimmjow punched ventilation holes where walls should be. Aizen (my dog) practiced cool poses on unstable piles of sand. And me? I tripped over a rock, faceplanted into another cactus, and got a nice 10,000 EP bonus. Pain really is rewarding.
Spike o Sensei stood guard by the gate, silently judging us all.
Hours later, Shawlong came back grinning. "He said he'll help. But only if I bring you to see him again."
Grimmjow smirked, "Great. Now you gotta actually meet the guy."
I roared once — or was it twice? — wagged my arms for emphasis, and earned some laughter — plus 8,000 more EP.
So now we wait. Baraggan's coming tomorrow to do his "magic" and hopefully finish our disaster of a base.
Until then? I'll keep doing stupid stuff and stacking EP. Because being a lovable idiot in the middle of chaos? Yeah, I'm great at that.
