Chapter 20 - The Festival of Peace

The Festival of Peace

One morning in the Kingdom of Brightvale, Prince Arin stood on the palace balcony. He looked out at his people. The sky was clear and blue. Birds flew peacefully above the houses. Children laughed and played in the streets. The marketplace was full of smiles and chatter. Everything in the kingdom felt calm and joyful.

Minister Tom walked up beside him. He looked at the same peaceful view and said,

"It's been a long journey, Prince Arin. But your return has brought happiness back to the kingdom."

Prince Arin nodded slowly.

"Yes, Minister Tom. The people have stayed strong. Now it's time to celebrate. Let's hold a festival—for the kingdom, for the people, and for the future ahead."

Tom smiled. "A festival of peace and hope it's a wonderful idea."

Soon, preparations began. The people of Brightvale were filled with excitement. Colorful flags were hung along the streets. Fresh flowers decorated every doorway. Bakers made delicious sweets. Food stalls were set up in the town square. Musicians practiced their tunes, and dancers rehearsed their steps. Everyone worked together with joy.

Prince Arin made a special announcement.

"This festival is not just for joy," he said, "It is a celebration of truth, kindness, and second chances."

The people cheered.

Finally, the festival day arrived. Brightvale sparkled like never before. The streets were full of laughter. Music filled the air. Children ran with ribbons in their hands. Women wore bright clothes and men danced joyfully. There was food, fun, and happiness everywhere.

Grub, the man who had once been greedy, stood quietly among the crowd. He wasn't looking for attention. He carried a basket for an old woman who needed help. He smiled gently and walked beside her.

Some people looked at him, remembering his past. But they also saw his actions now. Slowly, hearts began to change. They started to smile back at him.

On the festival stage, Prince Arin stood tall with Minister Tom and Luna, the Minister's daughter, beside him. The crowd fell silent, waiting for the prince to speak.

He raised his hand and said,

"People of Brightvale, today we celebrate you the true heart of this kingdom. We've seen difficult times. We've faced lies, fear, and danger. But we did not give up. We stood together. And because of truth and unity, we found peace again."

The crowd clapped and cheered. Some people had tears in their eyes.

Prince Arin continued,

"Let this festival remind us of who we are. Let it remind us to always choose kindness, honesty, and love. Our strength lies in our people, in the way we care for one another."

Drums played, dancers took the stage, and fireworks lit up the sky. Bright colors filled the night. People laughed and hugged. Everyone felt part of something special.

As the stars sparkled above, Luna looked at Prince Arin. Her eyes were full of peace.

"This kingdom has healed," she said softly.

Prince Arin turned to her and smiled. "And it's ready for what comes next."

That night, the celebration continued. The joy of the people filled every street, every corner, and every home. Even after the festival ended, the happiness stayed.

In the days that followed, Brightvale was brighter than ever.

Grub, once known for greed, was now called the humble man. He spent his time helping others. He fixed broken carts. He visited the sick. He listened to anyone who had a problem. He had truly changed.

Some people still remembered his past. A few whispered when he passed by. But most had forgiven him. They saw his heart now. They saw his effort.

The kingdom had grown stronger. It had learned to forgive, to trust, and to move forward. And through it all, the secret of Lumora Magica stayed hidden safe and protected.

Only those who truly understood peace, truth, and kindness knew about the magical world.

And so, under the shining stars of Brightvale, life continued in harmony. The people had hope. The future looked bright. And the kingdom stood tall as a land of second chances, love, and light.
